To be honest if i have to come to youtube to look for advice, here is where i come to make sure i buy the right stuff. He knows what's he's talking about. Keep it up Antonio
My dad used to have a Polo Green bought from the US in the 80s. The bottle is half full still, but it doesn't smell the same after all these years. I also have an old perfume bottle (also half full) of Dior Tendre Poison. Same thing, the scent changed, but you can still smell it after about 2 hours :)
I was in Sephora a few weeks ago trying to get a decent fragrance. It is so difficult to get started without just buying something and trying it. I always feel overwhelmed when I start looking for fragrances and then just give up.😆
If you know what style of fragnance you like, you can just search online for frags in the similar category. Then you go in with an idea already on your mind, you have a few specific fragnances to get your nose on. You can just put the 2 you like most on your wrist/arms and smell it throughout the day to check longevity and how you like it on yourself. Buying decants is also smart, a 2ml will give you a couple of full wearings so you know whether to purchase or not.
Scentbird is a cheap option to find what you like. Hard to get sample sizes for a lot of these fragrances even Macy’s sales reps tell me they aren’t getting as many for sampling
Imagine you go to store and want to buy fragrance. You stand there confused, and suddenly Antonio pops up from behind and gives you step by step guide on how to choose best fragrance for you >
I came back to this video to leave this comment on how good this video is. He is spot on about most of these and his recommendations. I like how he gives us advice and isn't trying to sell us something in every video , unlike someone else we know.
I respect your opinion about the original Chanel Allure Homme, but I love how sophisticated the fragrance is. To me, the fragrance gives me this sweet and fresh vibe that is not too strong which makes it perfect for work scenarios. Such an underrated fragrance, but I love that you included it in the video because no one ever talks about it.
Very good presentation, but I wish It contained a little bit more information about everyday use fragrances and for a special occasions. I’m 26 and my summer fragrance is light blue Intenso, winter- Tom Ford Ombré Leather and going out Bleu de Channel EDP. I just love them
As a complete novice to fragrances, I really appreciate this video. I will definitely try your recommendations for myself! One thing that confused me a couple times in the video is whether you were saying "clone" or "cologne" because they're pronounced the same 😂
I ordered a bottle of Paco Rabanne, the original green bottle introduced in 1973. I've gotten tons of compliments on it I believe, because it is not readily available and it brings back memories to folks.
Gucci Guilty Love (2020 iirc) is indeed a great freshie. A bit weak by itself, sometimes I layer it with the original Guilty edt. Also respect for highlighting the original Spicebomb. People seem to forget about it..
Wow this video was very informative and definitely helps me feel less overwhelmed and more confident in the direction I want to take my fragrance journey !
Well…. There is no turning back now… I’m hooked. 17 bottles this year, found all these videos now I want to try them all hahahaha. Antonio I have a seriously good idea, like no joke. Charge guys a flat fee to smell your collections. Having access to all your colognes in one place is priceless
I love the video but as someone who's a beginner in this game I'd appreciate the catering more to the seasonal wears of each colonges your referring to
Hey Marine, I've been wearing the Polo Green since the 70s and used to buy it at Henderson Hall for about $20 a bottle. I've started using other stuff since the cost has gone so high. Semper Fi.
Just found this. Great content. Learning a lot. Several times you mention “combining”. What do you mean! You’re not combining the two fragrances together?
I'm late to this video but a question I always wanted to know is if do fragrances expire. Once you open a bottle and start using it, does it have a shelf life?
If stored correctly (cool dark place) they can last perfectly fine for yrs even decades with a decent'ish perfume to start with.. Excessive heat & direct sunlight both can easily ruin perfume over a period of time, especially direct sunlight as this breaks various chemical bonds resulting in other science stuff happening which inturn will ruin or very least change the smell of it , & probably never in a good way 🤔☹️
Tom Ford Ombre Leather is my favorite cologne of all time. I think it even smells better than Creed Aventus, granted they're two very different colognes.
It didn't make sense that D&G brought out Italian Love after Forever?? Why? Some people had an issue with the photo-realistic rindy grapefruit in Forever, so they toned down the grapefruit & added bergamot for Italian Love. I own both & they're both STUNNERS.
PR phantom and Burberry hero EDT is an amazing layer btw i do 3 sprays of phantom first and let it sit for like 5 mins or so and then 2 sprays of hero, its awesome. very random comment but something for ppl to try lol
Brilliant !!! That makes it so much easier. How do I purchase one? I really enjoyed this video and what a great little bonus to get out of it, I am also very particular about my scent every second of the day, and I’ve been using a 5 mL sample atomizer and I have two 5ml atomizers I’ve kept. I keep a 30 ml Burberry touch for him on my person at all times, it’s my daily for work all year but I wear a light blue by dolce and Gabbana in summer on my personal time summertime going on at night, YSL l’homme intense edp or if I want to be attacked by women wear wanted by azzaro which is basically an aphrodisiac for women and more like a pheromone then a cologne lmao And my Absolute favourite scent of all time I still haven’t figured out what the perfect setting is for it but I wear to work, I wear it out at night, still haven’t figured out where the bleu is best Who’s that large bottle of sauvage real ? If so, do you all houses offer that volume ? I have a couple other ones on your list as well but I don’t wear them. They’re more or less experiments I really enjoy your video and have for a couple years now
First time commenting. Thank you so much. Forgive the long comment. I really appreciate your complete approach (clothing, scents, etc.) to expressing oneself as a man, no matter the level. I am a novice at best...atm. Our friend, who I also appreciate, Ash at Chaps Guide, mentioned that he continues to watch your videos. Confirmed my scentiment. I also appreciate Hugo at Sartorial Talks. I now have Eros and Orion, though I like Eros much more. Am I immateur? Do i need stronger scents because of thar? Here's what I need. If you could help someone like me, at 54 yrs. young, understand how I could appreciate more quickly the scents that a mature connisseur of scents appreciates. Will i learn the "hard way" that Eros, for example, is really a club scent, and that i shouldn't use it in other circimstances, like daily use, winter or summer? I know everything is personal, but I'd like to cut to the chase to find my signature scent. Despite how you make efforts to clear confusion, recommending one fragrance to rule them all (so many stand outs), its a challenge that buying six fragrances in one purchase at Sephora seems almost inevitable. Makes sense? How important is taking ones time to building a small collection (of maybe six to ten fragrances)? What's a reasonanable time line for a non-clubber to develop an understanding of 'my style'? Since the pandemic, i make my decisions based on YT advice, and i order online. Is 'getting your nose on it' key? Thank you, again.
I have the Gucci Guilty black but I still love the square bottle you alluded to that's the 2009-10 Gucci by Gucci I love that smell… Great vid Antonio✊🏾✊🏾
Suavage is fine, does what people tells you Dior homme is really nice little sharper smell and better than Suavage if you ask me Mont Blanc Legend is still my favorite kinda like the mix between the 2 above Luna rosa Black is something heavier than Suavage Aqua De Gio(white one) is light and good for summer can't comment on the rest since i don't own them
For me, I think the original Invictus EDT is the best for the Paco Rabanne house. I get so much compliments with it and my ex gf was wild for it on me.
What would be a good signature scent? Something you can wear all year round, and be an all purpose fragrance? I have about 10 fragrances but want something that could be my go to.
I dont rly do signature, as I like to mix it up and pick the frag based on weather, occasion and clothes, but if I dont know what to pick, I usually default back to BDC. Arguably the most versatile frag out there, could wear it literally anywhere and smells absolutely amazing
As far as Acqua Gio profondo. Can you tell me what is in it that gives like a bitter note? Ive smelt it in other fragrances as well. Like I'll take a smell and at first it smells like a clean oceany scent. But then it has a dry like bitter smell. What does that? Thank you
Dior fahrenheit is an awesome mens fragrance, so unique with that violet leaf note. I have to agree with you about todays formula, its still okay but the performance is nowhere anything like the powerhouse og. If you ever over spayed this more than 3 blasts, people may start to collapse around you and need 100% O2 to regain consciousness
What a coincidence. Today I went to my local Kohl's to purchase handkerchiefs and there is a Sephora inside. Selection was pretty bare bones compared to Sephora store next town over.
I live in a part of town where people only wear baggy jeans and a shirt 2 sizes too big, would it be a bad idea to dress well with a more casual suit or should I just reserve that for occasions?
I think the Eros flame is for the older crowd it/ every time i smell it on somebody its a older guy at the bar- it smells like he spilled alcohol on his clothes😂/ it's has that hot dam liquor, big red gum smell mix with some vanilla...
Antonio, one question, in a shorts video you said the best Givenchy Gentleman is the EDP, and know you recommended the EDT intense. Can you explain? Thanks
it opens up pretty green and a bit of of freshness from the bergamot while the iris and cardamom mixed creates a beautiful slightly creamy and powdery smell. the dry down is a bit sweet from the iris and tonka bean combo but not as sweet as the edp one. if u dont live in a desert or tropical country, i believe it is an all year round fragrance. projection is not a beast mode because u dont really need it to be one ;). longevity 7-12 hours on my skin
Appreciate your detailed review of your fragrance collection! It would be better if you can pronounce some of the brands as intended (e.g. Caroleena Errera not CAROLina HErrera). Grazie! 😊
Could you test and review Lane Frost cologne. Because every time I went to my local stores it was sold out but that might be the case because Lane Frost is a famous bull rider from Oklahoma and I live in Oklahoma
Abercrombie doesn’t make Fierce like they used to, I bought the biggest bottle about 2 months ago straight from them and every time I wear it, it only lasts like 40 min

Top notch content, Antonio, very informative. A cologne newbie would be very lucky to find this vid.

Buy decants. Easy.
If you know what style of fragnance you like, you can just search online for frags in the similar category.

My way is I try few and come back home to see which stands out to me. Then I go back and buy the one that I liked the most.
Scentbird is a cheap option to find what you like. Hard to get sample sizes for a lot of these fragrances even Macy’s sales reps tell me they aren’t getting as many for sampling

I tried the Givenchy Gentleman's Society Extreme and was well pleased. Lots of compliments and questions asking me what I was wearing

I came back to this video to leave this comment on how good this video is. He is spot on about most of these and his recommendations. I like how he gives us advice and isn't trying to sell us something in every video , unlike someone else we know.
My first fragrance was RL Blue, I like it and have been wearing it since but came to this video to learn and see what else is out there. Great info!

My top 4 i got back for everytime!!!
Acqua Di Gio Absolu
Armani Code
Allure Chanel
Valentino Roma intense
My favorite men’s cologne is Abercrombie Fierce so glad to hear you mention that and a contender 😊
Creed first copied Mont Blanc's Individuel with Original Santal, so Mont Blanc copied Aventus with Explorer as payback.
For the Dior house I would go with Dior Homme Sport. It’s my go-to for summer.
Defo my fav from the Dior Homme line. But Sauvage is also great
I've gone on multiple dates with different women, and everytime I've worn it, they have complimented how I smell.... its my go to tooo 😎
elixir is the best imo

Well at least thats better than Cobra.
Just found this. Great content. Learning a lot. Several times you mention “combining”. What do you mean! You’re not combining the two fragrances together?
That being said….. I’d like most of those!
The fragrance that got me into frags… Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
Y YSL EDP gave headaches… sold and got the La Nuit de L’Homme.
My most recent acquisition is Le Male Le Parfum. I’m really enjoying it.
Great choice I love that cardamom in la nuit de l'homme
Le Male Le Parfum is so so good. Addictive to me!
"With that being said " U Sir are the best !! Great review!

Glad you like them! What other fragrance videos would you like to see?
Picked up Summer Vibes by D&G about a week ago. Highly recommended summer scent!
Same I just picked up this week it’s such a perfect summer citrus scent
Where did you get the stand to display the colognes on??
Tom Ford Ombre Leather is my favorite cologne of all time. I think it even smells better than Creed Aventus, granted they're two very different colognes.

What would be your pick for a modern day automotive technician daily work fragrance. I don't work in an office. I'm in a dealership shop environment
Love the review of each designer house separately.
This is best frag video. I ever saw. Literally gonna save it for future.
Did anybody else notice how many times Antonio said " With that being said" in this video?
No particular order: Dior Sauvage.. Mugler Angel.. Jo Malone Orange Bitters.. Versace Blue Jeans.. Chanel Bleu

Bvlgari & issey Miyake
I have the Fahrenheit right now
Suavage is fine, does what people tells you
Dior homme is really nice little sharper smell and better than Suavage if you ask me

This is the video I was looking for ... Everyone else is reviewing obscure fragrances that are way out of my price range.
Great video and spot on with the picks out of the whole line. Question....Where did you purchase the unit supporting your fragrances? Very nice

I'm not sure where it falls, but the compliments come often-Club de nuit Intense
And with that being said …good list .
Sauvage elixir tried it today super powerful
Very informative thank you 😊
Can you start to talk about Mont Blanc Individuel please. It let’s a magnificient smell on cloths
Okay in profundo.. What makes that bitter smell at the end?
1996 Bvlgary pour homme still the best.
Great video!
I think Dior Dune should be on the list for summer
Thank you so much for this extensive review..

Bleu De Chanel Parfum is the best one in their line just get that one.

Hermes Caleche Sole de Parfum!
