I would choose the undertone plugin over UAD and Waves everyday😂 Undertone is totally from a different world. They did amazing job by emulating the plugin. Best emulating plugin I’ve heard so far!
Important to note that the UAD Fairchild is an emulation of an actual Fairchild in Nashville, while this one is an emulation of a reimagining of the Fairchild.
UAD behaves more like the hardware, to me --based on my recent memory of UTA hardware vs UTA plugin. In that comparison by Eric Valentine, the hardware controlled transients a bit more on the drums and it seems that your tests showed a similar result.
@@aviatedviewssound4798 , After further research, UTA was modeled after the 660 which isn't an exact comparison to UAD's 670. Regardless, both are good plugins, but since comparing both on my own, I prefer the UTA.

I think people would be sick if they opened UAD plugins in Plugin doctor.. so many emulations with zero harmonics.. lol I even find it funnier when someone says something sounds so warm and there is no 2nd or 3rd order harmonics present 😅
did you mean waves plugins? because a lot of waves emulations of analog hardware do not add harmonics although some select few do. I've seen tests of people running a sine wave through UAD stuff and they do add some harmonics. Which UAD plugins are you talking about that do not to that?

Good point! Thanks for the comment.
This this is the video I was looking to hear. Big up OG!
Thanks for the comparision!
Honestly the aren’t too many ppl the compare a bunch of emulation of the same plugins…..I’d love to see you compare all the alike emulations you have
Will definitely do more comparison videos. Got u.
@@perfectharmany bet check out my music too btw….maybe we can work
The compression characteristics are really different....
I agree after using it more.
I agree with you on every point
This means the Overloud Gem Comp 670 is the best one because that beats the UA almost every time for me.
Can you compare the 1176 emulations
Yes, i can do that.
Yes sir!!!!!
UnFairchild is now $99 intro price -- does that sway you at all ?? Big ups

That's why you need to oversample it.

Acustica midnight prob rolls over both UAD and this one
Man I love Acustica. Haven't got the Midnight plugin yet tho.

It actually doesn’t. Both the UTA and the Midnight are very good, just different.

Bro you funny as shit! good review doe
good comparison, actually I like the UAD the best but check the Gem Comp670, that one has the most texture of any of them
Bro I follow you on ig can you please make more content on RUclips I think your dope
Thanks, Yep I got u.

UAD Fairchild has harmonics

The older uad plugins like many didn't emulate the harmonics. But the newer ones do so quite well.
this plugin ver.1 is a joke, full of bugs, aliasing through the roof....
Thanks for the comment.
I don’t know what system and saw you are using but I haven’t had any problems with it at all.
Go with UAD....
