I really enjoyed this! I never thought to make citrus vinegar! I usually put peels in white vinegar but I’m definitely going to make the switch when I build up enough! Thank you for sharing with the collab! I’ve learned so much from you over the years 💜
Thank you Anna, I was honored to be a part!
@@RainCountryHomestead 🥰
Fermented February has been mind blowing this year. Thank you for sharing.
Hi sweet lady, I'm so excited to see you in this colab! You are the one who inspired me to branch out with ferments from just sauerkraut. You are brilliant!!!
Well done, as always Heidi! You are always a wealth of information!!!
This was fantastic, what a wealth of information! I can't wait for my herb garden to get started again so I can ferment some of them. Thank you, thank you! Blessings from Indy 💜🙏💜
Interesting!!! I've often thought that it would be possible to use just about any fermented "brine" to start something else. That mead from a ginger bug sounds delicious! I am starting to consider making some wine. I need to try making that citrus soda that you made too, that sounds amazing! Homemade vinegar for hair? I might have to give that a go too! Thanks for sharing and being a part of Fermented February!
Love, love, love your vlogs!!! ALWAYS learning so much from you. You are a wealth of knowledge!! I was so excited when I heard you were in this amazing collaboration! Thank you for sharing all you do!! God is good!!
I never would have thought you could ferment dried foods!!! Wow!!!
Hello Heidi your such a great homemaker, always love the scriptures
Thank you for all the information packed into this video. I took a lot of notes so that when I start my next round of ferments I'll be ready to start these new things. Thank you again for doing this video. Blessings.
I'm watching this for the second time and of course, I am learning more. Awesome information and I'm going to try the ginger bug. My husband is a big soda fan and we grow tons of lemons and limes. Thanks, Heidi.
Thanks Heidi! I love watching your videos. You’re always so descriptive and break it down, so it’s easier to follow along. ❤❤
Hi Heidi. Thank you for being a part of Rhys collaboration. Always love watching your video.
Always a pleasure watching your channel Heidi. Happy to see you in this collaboration, and thank you for more great healthy information! ❤️
💕~Cheryl~💕
Thank you, Heidi…using dehydrated things for ferment sounds great! Orange Soda!😊 Thanks for your participation in collab…❤️
Thank you Heidi, I've been watching you for years. Thanks to your videos, I'm much healthier. I walked away from store bought hair products, started your hair vinegar, make my own shampoo bars, lotions, and so much more. My hair stylist commented on how healthy my hair and scalp is. I'd have so many reactions to the store bought shampoos, my poor scalp. It took almost a year to clean up but finally, it's staying healthy and happy now...and my skin is better too.
I have the same problem loosing lots of hair can't wash it my scalp gets itchy and if I scratch it really painful
Oh man you have opened up a whole new avenue for fermentation. I can’t wait to make some vinegar for my hair.
You are so knowledgeable. I definitely will be checking the rest of your videos. Thanks to all of the collaborators, Anna, and Hoss Tools.
I love this! How fun to not waste any of your peels. I am so going to save up and try this.
Very informative video. Thanks for participating in Fermented February
Heidi, great to see you part of this collaboration! I have discovered you late past spring. I have appreciated the simple ways and uses of food left overs such as fruit and vegetables.
I truly enjoy your channel. You have so much knowledge to share. Todays fermented February video was so informative and a perfect addition to the collaboration.
HI HEIDI, I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS FOR A COUPLE YEARS NOW AND WAS EXCITED TO SEE YOU ON THE LIST FOR FERMENTED FEBRUARY. I WILL DEFINITELY BE TRYING THIS MYSELF. THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF THE COLLAB. GOD BLESS YOU
I've been watching you for a couple of years and have always been fascinated by all the fermentation that you do but never tried to do it. I think I'm ready to start soon. Thanks fir always being so thorough in your videos because it really helps.
Wow, just wow! I am so glad you're part of this collab. I am going to binge so many of the videos you mentioned. I tried a ginger bug years ago, no luck. Gonna watch that one first I think. Thank you, again 😀
Your knowledge never ceases to amaze me! Thank you for taking the time to teach me how to live a cleaner life.
Thank you Hoss Tools and Anna for this amazing collaboration!

I always love you videos Heidi. Thanks for participating in this collaboration. Another great video ❤
I find your videos on fermentation fascinating and one day I'll get the gumption to try it. I especially like the idea of not brining everything in salt.
I am over the top thankful for learning about Fermenting February from you ❤. I'm learning SO much from all these new channels. Things I've never considered or even heard of. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
Hi Hiedi! Happy to see you in this Fermenting February 23 collaboration. You have taught me so much over the last few years 💛 I have been dehydrating lately so adding that to my vinegar list is awesome! Thanks

That was some great information! I’m so glad that fermented homestead puts on this collaboration in February 😊and thank you for sharing with us 😊
Thank you for teaching us about fermenting berries. I'm starting a wild garden which will have raspberry, elderberry (I know these has to be prepared differently due to poison) and a few other berries and this was helpful.
Thank you Heidi. I'm so excited, because I have all my jars collected/gathered along with the kids, clothes, etc. To start my fermentations..
I love this one! The overview and spectrum of ferments is so helpful for us newbies! Thank you, Heidi! ❤
Thank you! This was empowering to have the privilege to watch.
So glad you are part of this collaboration. I watch you regularly. You are a wealth of information.
I’m glad you are in this colab. Your the fermented queen. I first learned how to ferment with your video along with doug and Stacy
This video is perfectly timed for me, I have been experimenting more with different vinegars lately and this is a lot of the info I've been looking for. Thanks for sharing and participating in the collab!
I am a fairly new fermenter and I am learning so much from this collaboration. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Love love the detailed scientific facts you give! Absolutely going to make herb vinegar. I made apple scrap vinegar last year. I have herbs growing now and going to make the hair rinse 🤗🤗🤗so excited. Thank you and have a blessed day
Thanks for being part of fermented February. I've been following your channel for a couple years. I have made mede using your information.
Rose hips Honey mead is on my list of things i want to tackle this next couple years
I have first attempted a fruit fermentation starter using dehydrated blueberries. I had placed in the refrigerator. I 'refreshed' once a week with sugar without adding water. A few wees ago I saw it was not busy working. I decided to taste it, it was blueberry juice. Yummy! 😋
I started a fresh blueberry fermentation start yesterday. I am excited to see what happens this time!
Thank you Heidi for an amazing fermenting recipe! So encouraging!
Another great video Heidi I have watched you for a lot of years. I have learned so much from you. I really enjoy your videos and I’m happy to be watching the fermenting February videos. It’s a great idea. God bless you and your family and your grandbabies.

I've learned SO much in this video! I can't wait to make some soda AND new vinegars - I had no idea that you could use scraps of all kinds to make vinegar. Thank you for all of the new info, and for participating in #fermentedfebruary! :)
You've always got such good information to share. I love all the suggestions for using the ferments. One of the next things on my list of things to try is going to be the hair rinse. It sounds just lovely

I learned about vinegars from you. The more I watch the channels in this collaboration, the more I realize I have been fermenting before. Thanks to you, Anna, and the others.
I’m sure you’ve already taught me about making the starters, but this time that’s what really stuck with me. I’ve watched hundreds of your videos and they are such a wealth of information that I tend to watch them many times so that I’m sure not to miss anything. I also take notes. 😊
Thank you, Heidi! Great information as always!
You are blessed !
Yum! Best collab of the year! So creative!
Thank you 😊 Heidi. I've been learning
I made vinegar out of the leftover stems from herbs I had dehydrated awhile ago. Well, it was weak vinegar, I forgot to keep adding sugar and the jar was too full to stir well. It was fun to do regardless and I want to try doing mead again. Thanks for the renewed inspiration!
You are so inspiring! Thank you
Thank you so much for being a wealth of knowledge you so freely share.
So much wonderful information really appreciate you sharing. Have a blessed day.
Thanks for what you do and share with others!
Just wow! So knowledgeable! Thank you. The orange soda sounds pretty refreshing.

Love you Heidi.
Thank you for demystifying making vinegars and mead!
Fabulous 🙏🏼
Thanks, Heidi, great information
I started several scrap vinegars when I "met" you a couple of weeks ago and they are doing great! I even used freeze-dried peaches for one that took days to take off but seems fine. I learn so much from you and keep trying things to see what works for my family. I'm glad I found your channel and appreciate your time!
