@@evannatland5151Dan Harmon is a hugely talented Guy but also holy fuck if he isn't a toxic, abusive, stubborn asshole to work with. Britta actress asked many times for her character to be less panthic in the following seasons, and got nothing. Pierce actor (whose character dropped even harder) literally got insulted, mocked and straight up harassed by Harmon just because he really disagreed with the awful angle they made him take in the show, when he really didn't have to. And in the end they straight up fired Pierce's actor. He got slightly better in Rick and Morty (thank god) but really not that much
People always harp on this but I actually think her evolution makes sense. People who put on a prematurely jaded pose when they’re young tend to seem increasingly ridiculous as you get to know them. Also, she’s so deeply self-loathing that there’s always something both painful and funny in her constant humiliations as the show goes on. Amazing performance by Jacobs, it goes without saying.
Back when Britta looked smarter than Jeff.
Just restarted the show again and YES I was like woah wtf happened to Britta?
@@evannatland5151 It works a lot better for the show.

Yeah, it was sad that they dumbed down Britta later. She wasn't as smart as she thought she was, but at least she wasn't the worst. Yet.
