The only thing I can truly claim to dislike about Community, even besides the later seasons, is the lackluster use of romantic sub-plots. Really the only couples that I didn’t care for got together: Britta and Jeff, whom where way too predictable, and Britta and Troy, which probably had the least chemistry out of any Main pairing in the show. There is also Anny and Jeff, but that was untenable from the start, and we all knew that it wasn’t going to happen. Troy and Anny, or Abed and Anny could have actually caused real friction between the best friends.: Abed and Troy, which is somewhat lacking. Always felt like wasted potential to me.

I just realized, Abed carried the cigarette case with him because he knew they'd try to get him to practice flirting so he came prepared for it.
