Can you make video of how to make paper toys for parrots. Like i know you have made a video of that but my parrot really likes paper toys so can you please make another video on the same topic.
is this safe for all birds because I'm getting a cockatiel very soon and I would hate for it to die sry ik there are alot of comments like this im just making sure thanks!!!
@@malmal0910 I used the C/yellow one. It smells really good. Also if you have a window you can open it for a couple minutes a day and it airs out the room! Frequent water changes along with making sure the toys in there are clean helps ALOT. I’m 14 and this is my first bird so I’ve tried just about everything haha

Hi idk if u will reply bc I am a year late, but I am just trying to find something to put under the cage would green tea and any acid fruit work also I am not gonna leave it there forever because I don’t wanna attract ants
No I wouldn’t, it would sting if it gets in their eyes and it messes with their self cleaning if there’s a lot of it. Water baths should help but if it’s not check to see if your cockatiel has been walking through it’s own poop and old food. Sorry for the late reply 😊
I reccomend dawn dish soap, my cockatiel smelled really bad so I filled it about to his lower chest then added a drop of dawn dish soap and splashed it around then he didn’t smell as bad
And dry him With a blow dryer if he isn’t easily scared or wrap him in a towel or dab him with a paper towel because sometimes they do stink because of the dampness
I’d say 2 weeks is a good amount of time to use the spray. It doesn’t really “expire” but it’s good to make fresh batches often to stop bacteria and make it smell fresher.
Depends, those scents are all ok for birds. But it depends on if you make your own with essential oils and water or if it’s just some random air freshener. Air fresheners are really bad for birds because it spreads chemicals in the air. But making your own with oils and water, or like the ones in this video your bird will be fine. :)
@@malmal0910 Hi! Humidifiers, used just with water (usually distilled) can be really good for your birds, but essential oils are a no-no! Essential oils pose a risk to the bird's respiratory system as they can build up and slowly suffocate them - see this link: forums.avianavenue.com/index.php?threads/bird-safe-essential-oil.250264/ . Please don't use essential oils in a diffuser or humidifier (or mixed with water in a spray bottle) near your birds!
there are these citrus magic bird-safe air fresheners and i want to order them, (they're from an online website that sells bird supplies) but i'm not sure if i should trust them or not. any thoughts?
I would definitely check all the ingredients, research each of them individually, check the reviews of the product and make sure the seller is credible/reputable. If all of those things check out then I think it would be okay to try it :) if you want to play it safe and are still unsure then I would just make the home safe stuff.
Lil veggie Plant, the tea could be optional. But I reccomend using natural dried fruit teas. No, no black tea or green tea because they are caffeinated teas. (Caffeine is really bad for birds)
Lil veggie Plant, if you do what my other reply’s said she should be fine, just try not to spray your birds eyes or feathers. (It’s ok if you accidentally did) because it’s quite acidic. It’s mainly meant for the stinky cage or room 👍
It wouldn’t hurt them, but make sure you don’t spray their eyes. Although I don’t recommend spraying them because it interrupts there self grooming process, and they won’t clean themselves anymore because it smells/taste different. But when my bird smells bad I give her a shower with just room temperature water.
All you have to do is boil some water and place it in a bowl beside your bird cage, it will help your birds respiratory system and also benefits you, its basically DIY humidifier

Im always on youtube so ill always try to reply :) depends how low your cage is to the ground because you dont wanna leave something on the floor because other pets like dogs might eat it. Cleaning the cage every couple days will help get rid of the smell, but you can spray lemon juice with water on the actual poo and food at the bottom of the cage. Just make sure you dont spray the ground cuz lemon can stains wood or tile floors.
