Thank you for this! I always felt like I couldn’t be successful and make much because I live in a small rural city but that’s not the case! I dashed in the city on Sunday and the grass was DEFINITELY NOT greener! Because of where the zone is, I had to drive a lot farther to deliver the orders. So, I’m focusing on getting my AR back up just so I can be able to Dash whenever and have more availability for scheduling when possible! ❤️

I'm a new doordasher, I'm just about a month in but I 'm a platinum dasher now, i started because I live in a unique place that has brand new high dollar developments that you would think would order a lot but since I joined door dash . I'm mostly delivering to poor people. Am I just going the wrong route with door dash and start to decline more orders?

Shop and deliver is only worth it for 4 or 5 items when they have everything in stock. Anything more than that better pay $16-$20 because its going to take you about an hour to complete

Yea I got my first one yesterday. It paid 30 dollars but it was 3 different people and each person had 4+ items. It took me an hour and a half to finish the offer.

If you are making $200 a day you are out there for 18hrs a day, no doubt about it!

Not true. I’m a new dasher and although not in one day I’ve made 230 bucks. I have dashed 3 seeperate days but I only have 8 hours through those 3 days and I have made 230.
So if I dashed like it was a full time job. 8 hours a day, I’d make 200+ a day.

@tyrelllovewine2038 you're gonna find out that it's gonna be at least 12hrs or more to make 200+ ,and that won't be everyday!

Haha right ! Or sitting waiting for orders. DoorDash loves giving low ball orders all the time 😂they love doing that to new drivers . If you decline the order and wait sometimes they add more $ to the cost
