Tineco Floor One S3 at Amazon: geni.us/qnHVB
I have black hardwood floors that generally look dirty even after vacuuming.
I recently bought a tineco. Seriously, it’s so good I could cry. My floors legitimately shine after doing a wet wash.
I love my tineco. Definitely worth the money.
The only slight negative is I find the vacuum voice to be a little intimidating. When she tells me to change the water, I do it straight away so she doesn’t yell at me again.
Jeez I thought I’m the only one. I do whatever tineco tells me to, right away
@@sunday3pm735 looks like a lot of Chinese PR folks here pushing it hard
You can mute it by pressing the WiFi button.
😂👌🏼
which model do you have? Thanks
This channel is seriously underrated. Keep up the good work!
Certainly better than most
I agree! My husband laughs at me for watching every video but it is so interesting! And I always take his recommendations 😅
So true. His reviews really good and honest. ( I BOUGHT 2 CARPET CLEANERS BECAUSE OF THIS, I don't need another one but I will keep watching 🤣)
@@charlesrodriguez7984 q9
Very Underrated.
You literally have the best data analysis and delivery of any product I've ever seen reviewed. Vacuum Wars should be the standard. So thankful for you
Finally! I have been waiting on you to review this machine! Thank you!!
My whole house is wood floors and so Again I took your advice and picked one of these up. It is the best for daily or even weekly floor cleaning. Before I found this channel I didn’t know what a truly clean floor was. Thank you sir because of this channel it has changed my life lol or at least how clean my floors are. I have your recommended Shark apex and this Tineco Vac/mop!! Thank you again and I’m now addicted to watching your channel.
Thank you!
Does it bend flat enough to go under beds?
Tenico is best?????😊
Your thorough, concise and well edited video was the best I've seen. THANK YOU! It helped me make a decision!
Awesome! Thank you!
I agree we would like more tests on tiles...especially Travertine tiles...my whole house has these tiles. Need to know what clean with ...the easiest way! Thank you for all your work. Easy to understand & looks for real!
I'll offer a very helpful suggestion. Don't use the cleaner. When you put in water used distilled water. It will leave no residue.
I have half our flooring is oak flooring. If you add cleaner or regular water it cakes on the left over chemicals/material. I have the tineco cordless that came out a year ago. I used a Bissell symphony before that.
The oak is 15 years old and no warps, stains it's really healthy wood/flooring.
The key is distilled water.
Thank you!
I’m guessing you add the cleaner to a spray bottle and spray beforehand?
@@NoRegertsHere
Steam is a natural cleaning unit.
I've been using these types of floor cleaners for decades, starting with the Hoover Floormate and now using the Bissell Crosswave. I do have a lot of hard floor areas to clean and find that my floors are much cleaner and the job of keeping them that way is quicker and easier with the Bissell than first vacuuming and using a mop and bucket.
I have this vacuum, and it seriously changed my LIFE haha we LOVE IT, I highly recommend this vacuum mop!
Great to hear!
After you mentioned who this type of vacuum is for, it also 'clicked' at me that I am also one of those people. I've been using my Shark Apex corded vac to clean both hardwood and carpet around our apartment (it's a really small apartment) almost 2-3 times a week. And since I'm extremely lazy at sweeping the floor, I tend to use the Apex on hardwood (even though it's overkill) seldom for dusting and picking up very small debris cause most of us walk barefoot around the house. The downside is that it also drove our electricity bill through the roof for a long while. This could be the vac that I never knew I needed, or was I looking for in my life, until I saw this video.
This review is speedy, concise, fairly comprehensive and informative.
It would be helpful to have information on the comparative weight & noise levels of the models reviewed. Also, nothing was mentioned about the self propelled features which I read about in a description of these models. I have a large Hoover floor vac/mop that is extremely heavy & hard to push, so weight & maneuverability would be useful to see compared.
So glad to see more options and features coming out for hard floor cleaners. Not too long ago the only option in my area was the Hoover FloorMate and while I loved the original one I bought, the newer models were burning out once a year or quicker. I've had a CrossWave for the last few years that's held up nicely but I'd consider a more premium model for the right features.
Tineco ifloor 3 works the best for me with 3 babies learning how to eat, we constantly pick up their spills on the floor after meals. There's also no dumb smart mode just a button for extra power when you need it. And seriously who needs an app for a vacuum?! Still seems like an added waste of money to me. Love this channel! It's helped me in all my purchases, thank you so much for all you do!
this is information i was hoping to find. $100 difference, but it seem like the power and capacity are the same, just less unneccesary technology?
Mayhem are you still as happy with your ifloor 3?
If I’m not mistaken, you get an additional 10 minutes of ruining time…
My wife and I are elderly, (she's 73 and I am 69, 70 in Nov.) and both of us are very handicapped and unable to do much cleaning. I was finally able to convince her for us to get a robot vacuum, and since Our finances are very tight, think S/S only, it had to be inexpensive. So we settled on the Roborock SR4. That being said, I wish we could get something like the Tineco, but as stated above, we can't run something like this due to physical limitations.
Just ordered the Tineco Floor One S3 vacuum today and this vid made me even more excited to clean my floors!!
How's your experience? Is the hair separated in suction or they mix with mop and dirty water?
Really need more tiled floor tests please. Many kitchens with this type of floor and not all floor cleaners handle tiled floors well.
Especially ones with chunky grout
Get the Alfabot T30 or T36 instead. I tested many and the Generic Alfabot wins. Better suction, removable battery, spray button, quiet, auto clean.
This generic vacuum outperformed the Bissel x7.
Literally the most useful channel for vacuums, after checking all of them I think I'll get this one and a hand vacuum seperately. There are official refurbished ones for 250 and it just seems like better deal then others! Thank you for the incredibly useful videos
Thanks so much!
Where do you find the refurbished ones?
I just got mine. Needed this bc I was scared of it lol. Thank you!!
Thank you, this is what I needed to hear before I made my purchase 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Great to hear!
I had a wet vacuum some years ago. I didn’t love the experience from what I can recall. I believe I didn’t think it did either the mopping or vacuuming particularly well. But seeing this review and another of this brand makes me think about venturing out and trying another wet vacuum.
This channel is my favourite vacuum reviewer 🤩
Aw thanks!
You know when it's the end of the week when Vacuum Wars uploads.
I recently got the Dyson V8 and I'm very happy with it. I never knew the kind of machines in this video here existed though. They seem interesting.
Finally you did a review I'm getting this next month
I hope you are happy with it!
Your video is pretty much exactly what I think, I have the more basic one too and it does just as good for me on daily normal use. Fab vid as always 🤗
Which one do you have? The ifloor 3? Do you still like it?
This video sold me after 6 months of indecision!
I am buying this one !
hope you enjoy it!
Great job on the review!! 👍💯 Thanks for the research you put into all your videos! 🙏😀
Thanks!!
Thank you for your video! Very informative and helpful. Btw I love your voice too! 😀
Wow, thank you!
I believe I am the target audience for the S3 and I think you hit the nail on the head for why it's so useful. The only wish that 1: you could use other solutions besides theirs. Using different solutions voids the warranty and 2. The edge situation, there is no way to get close to the wall no matter how you position the vacuum.
Does it bend flat enough to go under beds or couches?
I’m a fan of my Crosswave for a lot of the reasons you discuss here, but one key caveats is I have the personal policy that I never pick up any “chunky” spill with it for exactly the reasons your tests demonstrate. I can usually get away with starting using a paper towel then mopping up the rest, but any huge amount of material has to go first.
Good call.
have you compared the crosswave and the tineco side by side?
Been using this for 6 months now and for someone with 18 cats, this is a life saver. My floors are squeaky clean all the time. I just wish the tanks are bigger - they have newer version released recently with bigger tank but the price is almost double from this one.
That is great to hear. Thank you for sharing.
I like this vacuum too. My only gripe is it can't clean edges and corners
18? Is that legal?
Does it bend flat enough to go under beds?
@@kindajess3280 no unfortunately. after enough time using this, I will still need to buy another vacuum. a dry vacuum for under the beds and carpets.. this vacuum is still valuable to me though because it cleans well, the wet function especially.
That is one aesthetically pleasing vacuum cleaner. Tineco makes some really good looking and high quality vacuums. I love my S12.
That's good to hear!
Tineco is great, got their A10 Dash from Walmart (thanks to your recommendation) and I actually enjoy vacuuming now lol
Excellent review and video! We just ordered ours thanks!
Hope you enjoy it!
I love mine for daily cleaning of my laminate! Since getting my conure it goes straight through seed and poop and etc with zero though! It's kit fab with dried on messes, but then it would be too harsh for daily use if it was so I can understand the soft roller. (I spray dry bird poop 10 minutes before to soften it with kitchen cleaner then run the S3 over) I've had mine nearly a year with daily use and its not broken either, which was something I was worried about from an unknown (back when I got mine) brand. Excellent video as always!
Great to hear! Thank you!
Thank you for making this helpful video, I hope you could do a review on s5 pro too because it looks so cool!!!!!!!
I hope you own a vacuum store? Your reviews and detail is second to none . Thanks for the hard work
Thanks! I don't, but I used to have a cleaning business.
Thanks man i really enjoy your videos
Glad you like them!
This is the answer to all my stress with cleaning my LVP flooring! This is a MUST have! I can’t believe the dog hair (have a Labrador) it picks up even after I sweep for hair first. My floors look amazing after they’re cleaned. No streaks either. No more vacuuming & mopping, this is the do it all in one! You will not be disappointed.
Great to hear that you are happy with it!
I was curious about how it would fair against pet and human hair.
Buy it! I have a pretty large dog who isn’t afraid to get dirty. Playtime and walks mean dirty floors on a daily basis-not exaggerating. Mopping was a hassle and not practical for me given my schedule and square footage needed to be mopped. I also wasn’t a fan of pushing dirty water around.
Thank God I found out about these types of vacuums. I bought this one after about a day or two of reading and watching reviews.
Best investment ever! I was hesitant about the performance with the stuck on dirt because so many videos showed wet, fresh spills and messes. Needless to say, I was impressed! It destroyed those dried on stains with ease in one pass.
The only drawback is the battery life. Aside from that, exceptional performance that is truly heaven sent!
How does it do with pet hair I have two heavy shedding dogs
Don't buy it. The motor went bad after about 3 months. I had to ship it to them for repair. Unknown to me, it's a common problem. I now use Bissel Hydro vacuum mop. Bissel is much better. My dog sheds a lot and Bissel has no issues vacuuming and mopping it up in one pass. I also like that it isn't cordless. Given the sq.ft of my home, the Tineco would need charging before finishing up WIth Bissel I can take my time and not have to worry about recharging the unit.@@brendonscott7582
Great review! Just bought this vac/mop for cyber Monday at a great deal. Also, I loved the reflection of your buccee’s shirt at 1:22 minutes 🤣 I love their chopped brisket sandwiches 🤤
That is awesome! Thank you!!!
One CON I believe the reviewer missed is it struggles to clean the tight space where the floor touches the wall because of the cylindrical shape of the brush. With me it would always leave about 1 inch from the wall unmopped and I have to mop it manually.
Nevertheless, the machine is absolutely amazing and well designed.
That was one of our biggest issues in our review as well. The gap it leaves from floor to wall is substantial.
Is the problem only the mopping or it doesn't vacuum neither close to the wall? .
@@reginalol5324 Doesn't vacuum close to the wall either. I don't mean to hijack Vacuum Wars, but we did a review on it as well: ruclips.net/video/r3F6lRoyMiE/видео.html and you can see just how bad the vacuum capabilities are (couldn't even pick up a piece of dust).
I recently watched a million videos about this type of machine...... 😕
I came to the conclusion that everyone does not clean well near the footer.
In my work I use one that is the cleanest one close to the walls, however, it is an extremely expensive German brand, which makes it unfeasible for domestic use the name is Vorwerk VK200. It cleans but out of the question because of the high cost. I think that maybe a design similar to this is finally the solution to this particular problem.
@@julianequeiroz5346 Hi Juliane, we're doing a review on the Bissell Crosswise X7 Cordless - this too seems to have pretty solid edge capabilities. We'll try and check out the VK200 - thanks for recommending.
Impressive! I love this channel.
Thank you very much!
I appreciate this video. I'm shopping for a hard floor cleaner. This was very helpful. I would love to see videos on how these machines do with grout. That's my biggest issue now and it seems only commercial floor cleaners really do the job. Thanks for your review!
Make sure to stay clear of the Hoover Floormate Wet vacuum. Alter a few minutes of use starts pushing dirty water around. The battery stopped charging only after about 5 uses.
I really love my s3. Best 300 spend on a vacuum. If you have a Costco membership, you should really give it a try.
"...Where I stopped because I was tired that day. Sorry science." I love little quirky remarks like this in your reviews, I really enjoy the extra little bits of humor here and there.
thanks!
I don’t know how anyone could live without one of these cleaners. I have all the best models… including the S5 Pro, crosswave max, x7… and I use THEM ALL. I’m vacuum obsessed!
Would you recommend the crosswave max? Does the brush get stuck if theres too much hair or pet hair everywhere?
Me too! I have a shark hydro vac and this one
Thank you so much for your video ☺️.
Great video, I always vacuum my floors 1st and would not be using it for big nasty spills. So it seems this would be a great fit. I manually mop my floors and want to know if you feel that your floors are just as clean as manually mopping after using this vacuum ?
Great Review
Great info. Thank you.
You bet!
I’ve recently bought this vacuum and before I knew it was only supposed to be used on hard floors, I was using it on carpet/rugs as well (mostly short pile no shag rugs). I found that it works amazingly on carpet. It helped deodorize and picked up a lot of dirt and debris on both hard and soft surface. It didn’t work as well as a dry vacuum as far as suction and obviously Bc it has the soft brush roller only, it didn’t agitate the carpet enough. But I found it never left anything behind but a slight dampness on carpet and dried within ten minutes. It has not damaged my vacuum to do so either or my carpet. The suction was gentle but strong enough to do both and didn’t damage gentle fibers or floors. Although it’s not recommended to use on carpet I’m pleasantly surprised that it worked as well as it did. I’m still planning on also buying a new dry vacuum to avoid stress on my Tineco wet vacuum. Thanks for this awesome review! Now time to find the perfect dry vacuum. Highly considering buying a handheld vacuum from Tineco as well Bc of my overwhelmingly positive experience with the device itself. One thing this review didn’t mention was restocking on solution, which should be noted can take time to be delivered to you. If you like your vacuum and use it often, buy bulk of the solution and way ahead of schedule. This could potentially help you avoid running out of solution altogether if you plan for longer then anticipated delivery times. Also keep in mind that this device can ONLY be used with plane water or the Tineco solution. Other cleaning agents can be damaging to the device.
Does it bend flat enough to go under beds?
Shark Apex Duoclean with self cleaning brush roll. Your welcome!
I bought the Tineco S7 and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!
Great! Glad you are happy with it!
Great demonstration
It does say not to run over carpet it will make it susceptible to burning the Belt out sooner .
This was the best mop I’ve ever reviewed.
Love using it every few days now
Good to hear! Thank you!
Do you have hard wood flooring? I have tile and am trying to find an effective way to clean it.
Thank you for sharing.
Love your channel. Your videos have been so informative. Are you going to be reviewing the newer model the s5?
I hope to, but I'm just not sure when.
I think this review convinced me to get one. About to move in a house with hardfloors throughout. I like how i can vacuum and mop at once.
I hope you are happy with it!
One thing that would be nice for you to mention is the edge cleaning capability. Cause to me a vacuum or mop is useless if it leaves a dirty area along all edges
I'm getting this, thanks
Great Review! Question - how does this Tineco iFLOOR 3 preform with dirt between the slats in the laminate wood floor? Reason I ask is most of these mops do well with surface cleaning but neglect the "cracks" between the wood slats. Thanks!!
You mentioned if you have wood floors with minimal debris this would be a good choice. What if you have tile with tons of messes from 6 kids? Then what would you recommend?
How does it perform with lots of dog hair ? i would have liked to see how much hair it can pick up and if it get tangled
I have this in my Amazon cart. I was debating whether to get this or not and I just happen to find your channel also I am totally blind so I’m just kind of wondering if that app I’m not talking would be good for me anyways thanks for testing this out. I am glad I found you
Looks decent but from the review it does not look like it's worth replacing my crosswave? Especially since crosswave has a corded model which I prefer (better for the environment). Biggest issue with the crosswave for me is the really small dirty water container. It fills up so fast but it looks like the tineco is not much better? Thank you so much for the great review!
How does this stack up against the hi zero? I'm really trying to work out which one to pick
I got one and tried it on some gunk under a dresser. You know when stuff sticks to tile under furniture? After a few passes it cleaned it up well
I have large format tile floors wonder how it will work on grout lines? Any idea? 1900 sq foot with a few area rugs around couches
Hi! I have watched so many of your videos, they are very in depth. Will you be reviewing the tineco pro that just came out in September? Thanks!
Thanks! right, now, I hate to say this, but I just don't know. I appreciate your suggestion and thank you for watching.
Finally! 4:10 Yes! For hard floors, this is it! Mopping and vacuum at the same time! In addition, this has a huge battery but doesn't cost as much premium cordless.
4:57 Exactly. This is my criticism with the idea and reviews of these devices for cleaning huge and greasy mess! This is best used for daily removal of light or not visible dust/stains like how we use wet mops anyway.🙄
My only concern is corrosion. One user reported returning this early as the motor corroded easily and he suspects the little vinegar he adds to the water cleaner. I want a small amount of bleach as it avoids a smelly mop/floor.
Did you not like the Tineco solution or is it you don’t want to have to buy their brand? I’ve had good luck using it.
@@5541james i prefer using bleach while others use vinegar
the same happened to me because i would use a different solution from the tineco one. and the only reason i do that is because there isn't a consistent supply of their own solution. they've since replaced my broken unit with a new one, and have advised me that they are working on getting a regular supply, but until then, I should only use plain water to prevent motor failure.
@@inkinikki Using plain water will make the floor and mop smell bad. I hope we get the ingredients of the solution Tineco makes
@@zodiacfml the mop is self cleaning, and you then dry the parts. No smell to be had.
So is it better than the Crosswave? I have the cordless crosswave max that I got for $120 or so, and even at that price it's unbelievably useless. Any mess that might require slight scrubbing will remain on your floor. You could give your floors a better scrub by aimlessly flopping a wet bath towel around from a standing position.
Why didn’t I watch this before so I could have put it on my Christmas list!
always awesome reviews.. is there a difference between the Floor s2 sold at walmart? seems to be exclusive to walmart, but it looks like this s3.. what a re your thoughts?
So, for a hard floor setting where a robot vacuum already exists, what would be best? A steam cleaner or this vacuum/mop combo?
Hey, you should review the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hardwood Floor, 81L2A Stick Vacuum.
Love this channel. After writing the first line of this comment I realised I got old 😅
Thank you for an excellent review.
Just one question before I purchase this product, do I need to empty dirty water tank and clean it immediately after cleaning every spill or can I leave it till end of the day and clean it?
As I have two toddlers who make mess every time they eat and if I have to clean the tank every time then that’s a bit of hassle .
Appreciate your help
The app _would_ be useful to get prompts on your watch while vacuuming. Currently there are two options for that, each with drawbacks:
1. Enable voice prompts. These get annoying to have on basically immediately, and you can’t hear them if there’s other noise or you’re wearing headphones, etc.
2. Disable voice prompts and rely on the display. It’s very easy to miss the flashing light on the display, so you can go some time without noticing that the clean water tank has run empty.
Unfortunately, though, push notifications don’t seem to work in the iOS app at all, so it seems we’re stuck with those two suboptimal options for prompts.
The app does seem to be required for the following other things:
- firmware updates
- configure voice prompt language
- review statistics
Looks pretty good
Got it and love it!
Good to hear that! thanks for watching!
Great review, subscribed. We moved into a new home that is 85% hard floors and vacuuming then mopping is getting tiresome. Hopeful for the S3 to give us some of that time back.
I hope you are happy with it!
@@VacuumWars can you please review the ionvac hydraclean it's cordless wet and dry vac. And now it's in sale at walmart.
I bought the tineco s3, just heard recently of dreame h11, which seems to really resemble to the tineco. Might want to compare these two
Can you incorporate tile floor with grout lines?
Of course I understand they won’t clean filthy grout, but properly cleaned and sealed grout, I’d be very interested in!
How does it do on tile floors? Does it streak and leave water behind? The Bissell crosswave does and it seem to leave marks on the floor afterwards
I have the normal iFloor 3 and it’s so nice for cleaning the kitchen/bathroom/high traffic areas. I can never go back to mopping ever again. I do wish it had a bigger clean/dirty water tank though.
Also the S3 seems really unnecessary. The regular iFloor3 has an Max button and I’d rather control it manually anyway. I can’t imagine EVER getting use out of app connectivity. Just another item that has zero need for an app that they included as a “feature”.
I am also happy with the fact that I chose an iFloor 3 over the S3 or any of its competitors; 100% agreed on all points.
Trueeee. Too bad here they only sell the iFloor and S3. So obviously I had to choose the S3 over the iFloor for the better performance. Don’t regret the decision though. Even had my husband volunteering to mop the house. Definitely my best purchase, haha!
on the S3 can you turn off the auto power and just control it manually?
Does the ifloor 3 use a ton of water? My 2 constantly drips water and leaves my floors soaked?
@@Burritosarebetterthantacos honestly that sounds like it’s not working properly. The 3 doesn’t use a ton of water, no. It also leaves the floors almost dry
I need an updated video I lovee thisss
I got myself s3 pro because of this video.
The only drawback is the small tank is kinda annoying to keep on changing the water (both clean and dirty).
Can u do a review on s7 pro too? It claimed to have ultra mode which electrolyzed the water for deep clean.
The centrifugal air dry features sounds promising too.
Tks
I have the original ifloor and it is very helpful around the house.
That's good to hear.
Can you use it rite away after rinsing and cleaning the dirt container with the filter or do you have to let it dry before using again?
I bought one and it is great on all our wooden floors. One downside - it will not completely reach edges, it leaves a line where the floor meets the skirting board
How tough is it on deeper dirt? I just noticed that there's dirt in the deeper grain parts of my wooden floor and I don't want to spend €400 only to find out this wouldn't reach the deep dirt... Thanks!
What about leaving streaks on mostly laminate floors? That's been the biggest issue here. Every machine I've tried leaves streaks. How often do you need to change the roller to clean a 2500 sf home? Would appreciate any comments.
I have this and is awesome
I have just got the Ifloor 3 which is an older model. It leaves lines on the floor (I have a very light floor) and being self propelled I am always pulling it backwards to stop it careering off which I find very heavy. I'm thinking of sending it back.
I have Hizero and can't imagine my life without it. I have mostly hard floors and a baby that just started eating on his own. That means a terrible mess around the table multiple times a day. If I had to clean it on my knees every time, I would go crazy. And Hizero is just so hassle free. I grab the stick, vroom vroom, all sorts of mess, dry, wet, chunks, doesn't matter, 1 minute - all done! I set it aside and use it again two hours later. I clean the stick at the end of the day or every other day and it doesn't take more than 5 minutes. Seriously, when I compare with the effort I had to do when my older child started eating on his own... Pfffff, thank you inventors for delivering this wonder stick!
That is great!
I'd like to see these type newer vacuums clean in-between floor tiles where the grout is, I have light grout and have to get on my hands and knees to clean them up, and my older type bissell just leaves wet dirt puddles there atm.
That is where the Hizero fails! It is only effective on very level surfaces and struggles with grout snd uneven surfaces!
Can you please test the Tineco PWRHERO 11? It is a Walmart exclusive vacuum based on the A11 platform with some differences.
How would you compare the floor s3 with the ifloor 3? Is the difference mostly the smart features and we're they actually useful?
What would be your recommendation for small ceramic bathroom tiles? I've been searching for something for years just to avoid struggling with the many grout tiles. I currently use a drill brush and steam mop after vacuuming. It is the bane of my existence.
