I found steelstick hardened up too fast and that cutting out a plate of metal and using original jb weld globbed all over it to patch a tranny case worked best. Could work for your mani too.
Yeah about that Header, I think it would have held but I forgot to put a hose clamp on a small coolant line and it popped off. It sprayed coolant on the REfurbished Header and the JB Weld cracked off. So I am going to attempt to bend the new one that I have so it doesn't hit the Sub Frame.
