I really want to get rid of empathy. It has done nothing but cause pain and suffering. It's not a gift.

@@eveharris30 I agree! I naturally pick up on stuff when I don't want to. It's so weird how, some people are born with it, and others aren't. Like, why would God do this to us? In hinders me more than it helps. I'll rather be a psychopath if I had a choice. Don't care what anyone's says lol. That would be my choice!!!😂

I am also oversensitive to tothers' emotions, feelings and thoughts and I've learned a simple way to get rid of them. The trick is being aware of those feelings as being out of sorts and not really our own and then say out loud: "I send back all the feelings that do not belong to me." It works every time.

Being empathic is extremely exhausting it takes over my life, at points it makes me just want to stay alone 24/7.

Focus, gratitude, and allowing saved my life. Just as Becky says, what you focus on becomes you reality. You don't have to focus on bad things, you can focus on good stuff and feel grateful about stuff you love. This will bring more of both into your reality.
    Thank you Becky

Thank you so much for this video. I couldn't stop crying. I was the only one who stood up for a distraught and helpless woman as the crowd ridiculed her. I got home and was angry and then balled my eyes out. Your video helped and calmed me down. Thank you.

This is the first video that I've actually found helpful. Everyone talking about putting a bubble you around you that's absolutely impossible you cannot just switch off and put a bubble around you and stop feeling everything that you feel all the time. But the videos given me a great realization and to insight As to the type of feelings on people that I respond to the easiest that negative feelings are feelings that tend to be more intense and more powerful and the influence of the environment itself with a natural longing and desire to love people how can one love people when all you do is feel or their negative traits but their negative traits are humanistic of this material plain and we all feel them because we've all been bought up in a world that's ruined us. A world that's trained us to think about I am and be individualistic but selfish I world that teaches us not to think about our community and to think about our planet and our environment. A world that doesn't teach us our true spirituality and identity of where we actually come from the saw the Earth itself. So how can we expect to feel many positive feelings when everyone around us is switched off I'm not even aware of their own feelings. It's making me realize that there needs to be more in a work for me myself to be able to feel people's good feelings to be able to feel and recognize the I know there needs to be good without bad and there is good and bad within everyone but it takes a lot more intuition and feeling to be able to feel the good feelings as they are so rare. Seems so in my own experience with past karma's Maybe the feelings that we feel the next experience are the feelings that we need in this lifetime.

Please spread what you have said here far and wide! YES! So right. Since making this film I now also have a better understanding of cognitive empathy 'Understanding how someone feels' to the 'emotional empathy' feeling it with them. I used to think feeling it with them was a gift you gave, but it's enough to 'get it' with another human. Far less exhausting and now I seek happy people to build an emotional connection with that asks nothing of anyone. Keep doing your do xxx

Welp not going to try sound cheesy or anything but I cry at night thinking about people with rough lives and rough times and I imagine how painful it would be to lose a family member, a friend or a pet.
Some people say losing pets is better than losing a person who is important to you.
Pets are your friends. Your companions. It's strange without them feeling you are so used to them around. Losing them is like losing a friend or a family member
    It's painful.
Please if your going through a rough time it will get better and remember whoever you are I care about you!
    Yo I'm so cheesy.
    Fellow empaths hello 😎

Very well explained. Calm the solar plexus (gut-brain) down and instead of looking for what's wrong around, look for love, joy, and happiness. Because there is plenty of it! more than the negative things. There is no shortage of good intent and good feelings around us. Just tune your brain and your gut-brain (solar plexus, an actual physical ball of nerves in the stomach, feeling in the gut, also called the Second brain) to seeing goodness around you.

fuzzypaws250 roblox The way someone treats you is only indicative of how they feel about themself and has nothing to do with you. Just keep that in mind.

I'm not sure if anyone will see this, but I have a question. I feel torn between feeling called to help people who have suffered and who deserve to heal and be cared for and not wanting to feel sad because of how they feel. It really confuses me and I go back and forth on it often because you hear stories about people's lives being saved by that one person who finally cared and put everything into helping them, but then i see comments saying that we deserve to focus on only positive energies. Of course that struggling person is not going to be a positive situation at all times, but don't they deserve someone who is selfless enough to care about them and help them? But on the other hand, do I, the person who chooses to care, deserve to feel so sad about their situation? It is not the person them self who has negative energy, but their suffering and circumstance. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, its just been on my mind.

So this is as complex as humans themselves. There is one thought that allows me to do my job with clients without feeling the emotional impact of my clients situation. I love my client for the hour we talk and I somethings think about them for years after. Here's the thing... I don't believe that anything that happens to us is bad.The suffering I have had in my life had a purpose. At the time I had no idea what. Some people call it learning, some people call it growth. I like GROWTH. So when someone hurts, it's growing pains. I can support the growth of others and help ease it when I can. If I thought what they were going through was bad, I would feel sad. Instead I feel grateful to be the right person at the right time to support growth. This shift in perception, won't stop you feeling sad for other people, it will however, allow you to move through it faster and assist them better. Hope that helps.

Check out the "Billy Idol - Dancing With Myself" music video (here; ruclips.net/video/FG1NrQYXjLU/видео.html ). Im pretty sure the zombies trying to climb up to get him symbolize energies/entities. Notice @1:35, when he grabs the "power stuff", and all the zombies drop down, before they climb up again, transformed into "party zombies". Similar idea to creating thoughtforms, or training the brain ;)

Your video did not cover the titles topic.
Telling people to "search for and embrace the good rather than focusing on the bad" has nothing to do with working towards disconnecting from it all by turning off ones empathy in favor of apathy.

It's about turning down the level of 'caring' that. I have massive empathy, I just direct it! This might help: the-becky-walsh-school.thinkific.com/courses/the-listening-series-how-to-hear-your-intuition
