Bought the monitor after watching your video. Monitor is great but in the night time while watching videos the corners especially on the top seems to be slightly whiter. Does your monitor have it too? Is this ips glow?
Interesting, I haven’t used my monitors in dark room at all so I can’t say but now I’m curious to see how they look. I’ll get back to you when I have checked.
When in dark room and dark screen, I can notice some whiter areas in corners as well. This seems to be IPS glow which is quite normal in IPS panels. I haven't even noticed earlier, it needs to have dark room to see it.
@@zonemk9406 IPS glow is normal. After doing some research it turned out to be backlight bleeding in my monitor. So I discussed with Amazon & returned it. Honestly, I love this monitor. If it wasn't for backlight bleeding I would have kept it. Thank you so much for responding. I really appreciate your time & happy that I was able to discuss this with you. 👍
@@zonemk9406 Yes, in the night time, the white light on the top & bottom of the monitor was quite noticeable. No USB ports didn't bother me at all but this white light was distracting. Even Amazon customer care agreed my monitor was having backlight bleeding after they saw the pictures so that agreed straight away.

Hello. Thank you for this video. I am thinking of purchasing this model. How are the blacks while watching videos ? Are they deep blacks or grey ? How is your experience so far with this monitor? Do you recommend it? On paper it seems to have everything I need. Please advice. 🙏
Hi, black screen is actually quite black, not grey or anything. Although I don't watch in a completely dark room, but on normal lighting as this is mostly for productivity use. My experience so far is good, and I haven't had any issues. Only thing to notice is that it doesn't have any USB-ports if that is important to have. Otherwise it is a solid, good quality monitor. @@zonemk9406 I got the monitor today, RGB balance is quite good, I calibrated as follow: +1 click gamma in windows, 65 brightness and 77 contrast in OSD. Totally quite satisfied especially for 195usd total with 3y warranty, same spec LG monitor here is 240usd for 2 year
Hi, in technical details IPS panel is rated for 99% sRGB color gamut. There wasn’t any calibration documentation in the box. It’s up to your requirements and budget if that’s enough or if you require better. If this topic isn’t familiar to you, I would say 99% sRGB is entry level when doing graphic design. Hi, I don't have personal experience in gaming with this one but it does have 4ms response time (extreme), so it should be fine for gaming purposes as well, default is 6ms. I hope this helps.
