Lao shu Wong was using Beng Chuen from Xing Yi.
I think his father incorporated Xing Yi into his Wing Chun, or incorporated Wing Chun into his Xing Yi.

Not everyone in Hong Kong teaches Wing Chun as a bunch of techniques..... Chu Shong Tin (Tsui Sheung Tin), Ip Man lineage, teaches an internal Wing Chun in Hong Kong.
The Yip family lived at the Yuens!! When the Yips house burnt down. Mr. Yuen and Mr.Yip were close friends, and Mr. Yip wanted to cheer up Young Yipman, and asked Mr.Yuen to ask his son to spend time working out with Yip, while the families lived together. This isnt taking away anything from YIpman as he was a great master, but to say Yuen was his junior or learned from Ng is absurd and contradicted by what Yip Chun just publicaly announced.

yuen kay shan is not the student of ng chung so. and he is certainly not the same lineage as yip man. in fact, yiu choi who is yuen chai wan (yuen kay san's brother) student was one generation before yip man. it so happened that he continued his training with ng chung so. which makes yuen kay shan at least 2 generations yip man's senior
