It’s crazy how literally one of the most insane and wacky anime got an amazing anime to live action adaptation of all time. Now I can’t wait for a walking talking adorable little reindeer to join the crew and hit out to fight against Baroque Works. This is gonna be so good!!!
If Season 2 covers all ov Alabasta, then it'll end as Robin joins the crew the first time, no doubt. That'll be the big cliffhanger, as they set out for Jaya and Skypeia.

That fight with Mr. 7 did happen! Zero was recruited by Baroque Works in the manga and anime too. they didn't show it though. At WP Zero even admitted it.
Something clicked for me in this episode. I’m not sure if they have anything like it in the manga or anime, but when Koby told Luffy he was “the most wanted man in the East Blue” and Luffy said “that’s all I ever wanted” I realized that Luffy’s entire family, in one way or another, left him to pursue piracy. I think this moment suggested Luffy wants the One Piece, in part, because that will force his family (Dragon, Shanks, possibly Crocodile) to pay attention to him. All he ever wanted was just to be wanted.
Tomorrow Studios managed a damn near impossible anime To live action pretty Well than a realistic one (Cowboy bebop). Shoutout to them. Hopefully we get S2 soon enough with the same Love.
seeing how they paced season 1 i can see them doing both chopper and robin for season 2, having it start with loguetown/reverse mountain (due to it being said in season 1) then going to little garden and drum island (chopper introduction) and having them end with arabasta (robin introduction)
They can definitely tease Robin next season. The way they've been merging and stream lining arcs and the likelihood of them trying to at least end on the beginning of Alabasta means that Robin can be teased ala Smoker, if not more explicitly.
they way they cut together arcs in this season i can easily see them finishing alabasta in season 2. with the success of the show, hopefully it would mean more than 8 episodes as well, which they could then definitely do whiskey peak/little garden stuff really quickly and just spend 2 episodes on drum island and then finish the rest of the episodes with alabasta.

for namis tattoo, at least in the manga, the original tattoo of arlong was drawn over and extended to give it the pattern you see. It wasnt that they erased anything, more so just went over it with a new design but yeah the live action didnt make that clear
I think Garp was trying to protect Luffy in a way by taking on the "mission" of hunting him down personally. He wanted to give Luffy the time and space to decide for sure if this was the life he wanted to live, and by taking it on himself, Garp was able to shield Luffy from the worst tendencies of the Marines.
27:35 Zoro vs Mr.7 did actually happen in the manga and Mr.7 did try to recruit Zoro there too but I dont fault yall for not knowing because Oda didnt even remember he mentioned Zoro vs Mr.7 at the beginning until Matt Owens (OPLA showrunner) mentioned it to him lmao
I think the tattoo was able to change so much because in the anime she went to town on it with that knife before being stopped and the bounty was so high because he had beaten the heavy hitters in East blue from Morgan, alvida, kuro, don crieg, buggy, and even the resident warlord arlong. He beat them all so his bounty needed to be higher than any of them cx
Zoro's loss scene was manga-accurate and totally needed for his character arc. It was also acted awesomely! Mackenyu Arata is a lineage actor, from his daddy to himself, the man's got chops. Other than that, total agreement with the crew on how incredible this show is.
The fight with 7 and zoro did happen, it was not just animated, in the manga its shown in just 1 strip when 7 initially contact zoro, and then foward to Arabasta arc i believe, when its mentioned in a conversation that zoro killed 7 long time ago.
Yea, and I disagree with the people hating on LA Luffy because he got 'nerfed' cuz he didn't - they made him more OP pre-timeskip, we just didn't get lots of fighting scenes with him.
Jango was also on the Wanted Posters and they cut him out of Syrup Village, so who knows how they'd deal with a certain long mini arc. I don't think there's a way we do a season two without showing Miss Cowgirl Hat, cuz she shows up super early in the Grand Line. The way the show is currently going, I feel like we have to finish A in season 2, which makes me worried about what parts of LT, RM, WP, DI, and LG we'll have to condense/cut.
We'll most likely get Robin next season as the antagonist since the majority of the next arc is the Alabasta arc where Nico Robin was a major antagonist, joining after the defeat of Crocodile.
Aye man, if they said they want 6 seasons so we can get to marineford and finish there. I like the way the show does it’s own thing while also foreshadowing and following a linear story. Can’t wait for season 2
I think Robin will appear next season since she appeared before Chopper did but joined at the end of Alabasta which will probably be the conclusion of next season I am just wondering how they will do the Logia users like Smoker Ace Crocodile and I really want to see how they will do Sky Island as well with Enel and that Kuma reference when Luffy said nothing will stand in their way was wild
Best anime adaptation so far. The great thing is that this cast are practically living embodiments of the characters they play in the show. This made me want to watch the anime but I haven't because everything isn't dubbed yet. That is the only way I watch anime. The only exceptions to that rule for me are TYBW and JJK because those are simulcasts that I have to see. I am getting hyped over the fact that Jamie Lee Curtis might play Dr. Kureha. That is a perfect fan casting and also Jamie wants to play her as well. Also, I hope they do most of the Chopper stuff with him as a puppet like the snails, so they don't rely too heavily on CGI.
The fight with Mr. 7 Actually did happen. Roro recalls I believe while at Whiskey Peak in the anime that he was approached by a Mr. 7 previously. In Alabasta there is a NEW Mr.7 and Mr Fathers day in the clock tower.
27:36 uhm actually Robin is introduced in Alabasta, which if they do 8 episodes again, even 10, for season 2 they can cover all the mini arcs and Alabasta
In this part I was like: Dude he just saying that "It's not possible", he's not even accusing you of lying just yet. So why would you say that he accuse you of lying unless you really are lying?
27:35 the fight with Mr.7 did happen we just never got to see it. In the manga and anime Zoro mentions that specific fight when they get to their first island in the grand line.
God damnit you have me laughing at work with headphones on because you’re saying Nami is going to squeeze a tangerine over Bellemeres grave to pour one out 😂🤣🤣🫠
Robin MAY appear in the next season. We just have small arcs in between like the Loguetown, laboon arc, whiskey peak, little garden, Drum island and then Alabasta. Robin makes an initial appearance between whiskey peak and little garden, not sure if they'll include that. If not then we'll see Robin in Alabasta only
In the manga Zoro talks about Baroque Works sending Mr. Number 7 to recruit him. It's just a passing mention so it was neat to see them incorporate that into the show.
I get so much joy at the start of every reaction, faintly hearing “SHOOT HIM!” from the Alice in Borderland reactions when the worst character ever just wouldn’t die and had ya’ll pissed and me laughing every time he came back.

It's extra funny especially knowing what's happening with him in the manga currently
23:40 YES, thank you, Roshi. Luffy finessed and gaslit his way to everything, that's what I said. LOL.. All in the name of following dreams.
Aye man, if they said they want 6 seasons so we can get to marineford and finish there. I like the way the show does it’s own thing while also foreshadowing and following a linear story. Can’t wait for season 2
Arlong park ❌️
Arlong Block✅️
Reminder that Robin was introduced before Chopper and Blackbeard is mentioned in Drum island 🏝️
Glad you guys reacted to this! so much fun, I think the bounty posters are just fun easter eggs not necessarily a road map.
8:28 Ay Lupa you funny as shit for that Dudley Boys reference 🤣🤣
I think Robin is gonna be in S2. She's in Alabasta arc and I think S2 will cover that arc. Also can't wait to see Vivi!!!
10:46 Lupa is hilarious 😂 He keeps guessing the dialogue right..
And the reaction to *Gum Gum Gatling* was legit! That move is fire 🔥
Also, I hope they do most of the Chopper stuff with him as a puppet like the snails, so they don't rely too heavily on CGI.
they definitely won't skip Loguetown, Laboon and Chopper's backstory must be well done
We'll prolly see a Brook (alive) cameo next season cuz like,, there's a Rumbar Pirates' ship spotted in one of the filming locations lol im so stoked
Season 2 can condense 64-130 episodes of One Piece anime into 8 episodes and 40 to 50 minutes😂 they can leave out a lot.
Fun fact: Alvida was here from ep 1 till current episodes and still relevant villain 😂
Sliding Kuma on the side at the end had me dying 🤣
24:18 Kuma: What did you say?
The fight with Mr. 7 Actually did happen. Roro recalls I believe while at Whiskey Peak in the anime that he was approached by a Mr. 7 previously. In Alabasta there is a NEW Mr.7 and Mr Fathers day in the clock tower.
"i just got out a fight can I have a second ta- NO 🗣️" roshi channelled his inner garp on that one 😂
27:36 uhm actually Robin is introduced in Alabasta, which if they do 8 episodes again, even 10, for season 2 they can cover all the mini arcs and Alabasta
24:15 nahhh that kuma placement was out of pocket
24:18 i see u, this little easter egg ahahah, i'm dying 🤣😂
“Once you go fish you'll never want another dish” 9:21
In this part I was like: Dude he just saying that "It's not possible", he's not even accusing you of lying just yet. So why would you say that he accuse you of lying unless you really are lying?
They made that battle axe scene actually look better than the anime
Right on fucking time literally was looking for something to watch with this blunt. Perfection 😭🫡
27:35 the fight with Mr.7 did happen we just never got to see it. In the manga and anime Zoro mentions that specific fight when they get to their first island in the grand line.
24:18 GYAT! DAMN NOT THE KUMA JUMPSCARE
God damnit you have me laughing at work with headphones on because you’re saying Nami is going to squeeze a tangerine over Bellemeres grave to pour one out 😂🤣🤣🫠
NAAAAAA KUMA AT THE END HAD ME SCREAMING
Im surprised noo one mentioned the Mappa joke. I nearly died laughing man. Classic Lupa. 😂🤣
This guy on the right has a lot of energy! His reaction is sensational!
Robin MAY appear in the next season. We just have small arcs in between like the Loguetown, laboon arc, whiskey peak, little garden, Drum island and then Alabasta. Robin makes an initial appearance between whiskey peak and little garden, not sure if they'll include that. If not then we'll see Robin in Alabasta only
the manga accurate scene last episode was one of my favorite moments and i didnt even know it was manga accurate
7:24 We all know he had observation Haki but this was just an obvious flex man 😂
2:14😂 bro said mappa and he aint lying
Really enjoyed this show!
Real sharks have multiple rows of teeth that slowly rotate, so that when a tooth at the front falls out, the one behind it slots in its place. They aren't very tough because they're meant to be expendable.
When Roshi and Lupa said please just cut scene with Foxy pirates, I bet the studio gonna make Foxy epis just like Lord Buggy Clown for real 😂🔥
Best anime LA adaptation ever and it’s not even close. The trailer didn’t do the series Justice since it got a lot of backlash but I’m glad tons of people enjoyed the LA, can’t wait for Season 2, I’ll figure it will be better.
Second to Ruroni Kenshin film series. It could end up surpassing it though.
@@AzulApeNah,it's not even better than Alita,so it's like 3rd.
the Kuma pop up was EDITOR GOLD ! HAHAHA
They did so good with the effects in this show it's crazy. I don't even hate that Zoro scene as much as you guys, I thought it was pretty good acting with maybe some off directing and they did what they could, but I just really disagree it was bad lol.
which scence were they talking abt
@@akankshapravin1418 zoro's scene after he gets sliced by mihawk
The whole thing with Mr 7 is actually canon. in the manga and anime, Zoro mentioned in whisky peak how a member of boroque works tried to hire him.
