Who wouldn’t want to play as a sharp-tongued, seductive vampire queen? Just be sure to check with your group that such a callous, double-crossing character would be acceptable, and watch out for holy water, especially if you provided it yourself.
Tweaking the character to fit the story wouldn't be hard either. Who's to say that in a different time and place, she could have died a hero instead of a tyrant.
Girlbossing too close to the sun is even riskier when you're a vampire, but don't let that stop you

I like when a build has an intentional downside put in. Makes the reflavoring more fun if you use the character!
The "I'd rather die than lose" archetype is fun story and a great mold that a supportive adventuring party can help the character break out of as the story progresses.

Carmilla is mad in many ways so it is very in character that her build is also MAD. Warlock being the special sauce that makes shenanigans like this possible is just wonderful.
2:40 for anyone follwoing the recipe *to the letter* (and getting confused when your numbers don't add up), have your stats start at 14 Str/15 Dex if you're adding +2/+1 respectively or 15 str/14 dex if adding +1/+2 (get them both to 16)

Hey nice another Castlevania build...although that makes me wonder: Does Tulok's Trevor Belmont build count for Richter and Simon Belmont for the Smash builds? Because I argue Trevor is MUCH different from Simon and ESPECIALLY Richter. For instance: every Belmont from Juste onward is able to cast magic, and is especially adept with holy magic...I can see Richter as a Lawful Good Paladin/Bard with high DEX and low WIS.
In the case of Trevor and Simon I think the functions of the character's abilities are close enough not to warrant separate videos on them. The differences between them as far as combat goes I don't see being significant enough to justify the time even if a lot of it is copy paste work.
Richter on the other hand I think is different enough as unlike both Trevor and Simon, Richter is a fairly competent battlefield spellcaster
@@aganaom1712 Thanks for the reply! Yeah I made this comment more in respects to Richter because he casts a lot of magic. The Item Crashes were so diverse that I think it requires spells from a few sources (Hydro Storm would be Tidal Wave imo, but that spell is Druid exclusive), hence Bard to avoid the multiclass requirements. Although there IS an upcoming Netflix spinoff from the Castlevania show that will feature Richter, so maybe Tulok will make it based on that Richter but count it for the Smash Belmonts.
@@keithgawain3614 tidal wave isn't druid exclusive. Wizards get it as well. Also I would argue that that Richter has some druid levels with a reskined flame blade
@@riggitystorm7331 Oh, huh I didn't know Wizards got it too, mb...Well, my reasoning for him having no Druid Levels was because I also reasoned Richter had low Wisdom, since he fell under mind control by Shaft. Richter could get Elemental Weapon instead of Paladin from Paladin so he could specifically power up his whip instead.
If you eventually do a Castlevania Dracula build (monk/wizard perhaps?), I’d love to see how it would stack up in a fight with your Carmilla build, even if they didn’t fight in the show.
I also find it funny that with her low Wis skill, this liar is easy to lie to.

Wasn't there a Sonic game where he was basically a... Were-hedgehog? Also, I think it is funny that Camilla and Ganon are both "Barblocks". I think she pulls it off better though.
There was a sonic game where he was a Werehog the sonic parts were really enjoyable as a sonic game the were part was generic beatem up sort of fair not great not terrible
I know you don't do remakes of previous builds so a really easy remake of Alucard would be to swap out elf for Dhampir swap out Fay Teleportation for Fay Touched and Arcanist for skilled expert
The reason I chose those two feats is so you still get the increase to INT Misty Step and Detect Magic (admittedly you miss Prestidigitation and Shield).
Also Dancing Rapier for his sword.
Side note: if you want to get 16 in both STR and DEX at level one, you may want to do +1 to STR and +2 DEX from your lineage.
Though at level 4 you can just add 1 to each in the original build to get to the same place so it's a moot point at that level.

Weekly Build Request: Man, seeing this iconic character get reimagined for television makes me want to builds for other characters who got reimagined for television, namely the Guardians of the Multiverse from What If. A bit of a stretch but I think I stuck the landing.
But specifically, I would like to Captain Carter, The Hydra Stomper, Star-Lord T'Challa, Doctor Strange Supreme (he's the one I most want), Zombie Wanda, and Ultron. Please and thank you.
Pretty sure Captain Carter would mostly be a Captain America build, but with more intelligence than Charisma.

Carmilla may have only got one fight scene, but good lord it was a belter. I was even almost routing for her. Almost.
In terms of D&D, playing an evil character in an adventuring party can be fun and rewarding if you don’t let it interfere with the party’s regular heroics.

Str was at 15, and Dex at 14. You put +2 to Str, then +1 in Dex. Setting them at 17 and 15, respectively. Not 16 each.
I want to see a Spamton G. Spamton build. Not just for memes, I want to know how the utter insanity of this character could be translated into one moveset.

Castlevania is such a wonderful show, all of the characters, the trio, even fucking Dracula, the 3 vampires, Lenore and Hector, Isaac, and even Dracula’s dead wife is amazing, I need to finish season 4

Episode 330 of the Fire Emblem stats: Carmilla.
She's good with swords, reason, and authority. She wields a cutlass, has access to explosions, and has a wide variety of monsters under her command. Her weaknesses are in faith and heavy armor because she is on the side of demons and she just wears a dress when fighting.
She has a lot of HP and defenses but isn't very strong by herself.
Absolutely loving these! Just making my list of characters I will never get to play grow exponentially, I was wondering if you'd be able to make a build for Subject Delta, the Alpha series Big daddy protagonist of Bioshock 2, being a drill swinging diver monster is one of my main goals in DnD

The greed and pride are prime sources of sin, and the great Carmilla is pristine example of a monstrous mind devoted to the whim to controll all that exist, but that in my opinion is not that appealing in the sensual department, and many might find that alone uninteresting.

Interestingly, if you ever did Classic Gothic Literature Carmilla, it'd be a very different build. I'd say the goals would be "Successfully pass for human" "Charisma build with hidden bite" and "hit with all the young ladies".

I'd personally go Beast over Berserker since you can get Claw attacks that don't require your bonus action for an extra hit (you know, in case your pact weapon breaks) and an arguably better Bite attack. Also, instead of being immune to Fear and Charm (good, but you were convinced to join under the employ of Dracula in the first place somehow), Bestial Soul lets you get to add your Athletics roll to the distance of any jump you make; so with Spider Climb from Dhampir you get to stick to any surface you can jump to.
Robert E. Howard characters needed. Book, comic, or movie versions. Solomon Kane, Conan, Kull, Bran Mak Morn, Red Sonja...those characters would be pretty awesome.

I’m thinking Dhampir focusing Dex, Cha, and Int in that order, maybe a Hexblade (with a “talkative” familiar) with levels in Ranger (favored enemy vampires of course). But maybe a Paladin/Rogue multiclass might be more unconventional but interesting
