    Nice, just killed one on my deck. Never skinned one before. Meat in the fridge. Now all I have to do is figure out how to debone and cook. Looking forward to it. Thanks!

    I never deboned a rattler before but just chop into 5-6in. pieces then marinate in Teriyaki sauce for 15-20min. then throw on the grill flip a few times while applying more teriyaki sauce ! Freakn delicious 👍 !! Eating the back straps on the bone is sorta like eating corn on the cob, just bite it by the spine then roll it while pulling of the meat with your teeth, then go to the other side of the spine and repeat ! Easy eat !!

    Wow! So I’m 14 years old that loves killing rattlesnakes in Belt Montana and me, my brother, and best friend decided to kill another snake it was a small one but it had lots of great skin! It took HOURS because this was our first time but was very interesting to explore and digest this reptile as pre biology students this was better than a classroom. Should’ve watched this video! We used a Jack/Pocket knife to skin it! It turned out pretty well but should’ve use your method thanks for the video keep up the fantastic work! Love your videos! ❤️ 💪

    Maybe a dumb question, but do you immediately cut off the head to get rid of the venom? Or how do you deal with the venom on a dead rattler?

    • @tastydecaf
      @tastydecaf 4 года назад

    • @FromFieldToPlate
      @FromFieldToPlate  4 года назад +10

      not a dumb question at all, Yes you remove the head and dispose of it. when we are out with kids around we dig a whole and burry it.
