I have filled up the Castrol Power 1 Ultimate engine oil for the first time in my Yamaha FZ25. I have used Motul 7100 10w40 engine oil in the past. In this video I did practical comparison between the two-oil based on my experience with FZ25. Hope you would love watching the video.

I have an fz 2012 model and i still ride it till now....very reliable machine..its 12 years old...and from my experience i have use all the brands and for me i would rate
1.motul 7100 10w40 fully synthetic
2.yamalube sporty premium 10w40
3.yamaha lube 10w40 synthetic oil...
And i have used Castrol power 1 ultimate and i dont recommend it for fz because the engine is not happy with it ,u can feel the engine is stressed while using this oil...but now i will try and used shell advance 10w40 full synthetic...its 700rs online...

I think Castrol is better than motul because, Castrol is being in the industry since decades 👍🏻😊

Motul is best for bikes above 125cc, but upto 125cc you can go for Castrol and for scooty too.
Castrol uses Group 3 base oil (Which are technically mineral) which are inferior to Ester used in Motul. I have done engineering in Automobile Engineering and hae friends in Chemical, Pewtrolium and Aerospace Engineering. Esters always have an edge over Group 3. Castrol doesn't even comes close to Motul in terms of performance and product lineup.

Thanks for sharing your real experience, currently I'm using yamalube in my fzs25 ...still under warranty so didn't try other brand enginle oil. Please suggest me which one better other than yamalube.
Hi bro... changing engine oil does not void your warranty but if any issue comes.. company needs an excuse to bear warranty cost. If you want to try then you can go for Motul, Castrol or Liqui Moly. Motul and Castrol I have tested by myself in this bike and Liqui Moly my friend has used. Till now we got the satisfactory performance. Make sure to use the recommended grade oil.

firstly Im used Shell Advance Ultra and motul 7100 and v, v2 also all are buttery smooth ride, almost Zero vibration

yes brother.... my Fz I used 10w50 Sport bike oil and now using Castrol power 10w50 superbike oil , All 2 oil have gear shifting problem.

I have used castrol power 1 10w30 and motul 5100 10w30
In my opinion castrol power 1 is smoother and more drain interval. But in motul gear shift wass smooth and that too till 2000 km after shifting is not smooth

Bhai jo bike manual main recommended grade hai wo hi use karo … 1200 ml daalte hai to 1200 ml hi daalo.. 1 liter kam hai

Bhai Motul is good engine oil. I am using it in FZ 153cc bike and almost 3 years in FZ25 ... so overall performance is very good... For a change I switched to Castrol
Yamaha ka jo sporty premium hai sabse ghatiya engine oil hai wo , 2500 km me oil grade degraded ho jata hai

I have Honda unicorn, I have used 20w40 instead of 10w30, will it damage engine? Should I change oil immediately?
Bhai its always advisable to use the recommended oil... still you want to give a try ....you could have used 10w40, 5w40 etc.. but not 20w40. I have made a dedicated video to choose the proper grade of oil.

I am using Motul 7100 10W50 on my ktm duke 390 and it needs top up . Hope next time when i switch to castrol the same is not required.

You can try to switch some other brand to check if engine oil was the real cause

Bhai you can use it with recommended engine oil grade I think 10w40 is the recommended grade(you can check bike manual).. Supplement gives you better mileage and performance...Change oil first check the performance if you feel you need supplement then try

bhai if you are riding more in city then go ahead with Motul.. Motul is slightly better in day to day traffic than castrol in my opinion

I'm getting vibration on my fz25 above 4500 rpm. I'm using yamahalube oil. Switching to shell advance ultra or motul will help me out or it wll be the same. Pls guide as per your experience.
Hi Vijay bhai... you will get slight vibration between 70-75 kmph which is at almost 4500 RPM because at this speed FZ25 feels more vibration once you cross it becomes smooth.. You will definitely get better performance, mileage, smooth gear shift with other brands oil - Shell, Motul, Castrol. Few also used Liqui Moly but its slightly expensive.
bro yamalube is like coconut oil...it does not give proper performance and refinement compared to motul or shell.. u will realise the difference when changed frm yamalube to any fully synthetic

bhai mere friends motul use karte hai .. Pulsar main .. they have good feedback. you can go ahead. You can use Motul 5100 engine oil with recommended grade for your bike.
