This home is way too small. I know it has bedrooms for more than one person, but I feel as though I would be tripping over furniture and other people in the house. On the first floor, where would you put the television? The living room is way too small to have more than three guests to sit and talk. The 3rd floor is large enough to have as an entertainment room, but I would not want to take my guests pass my bedroom to the third floor for entertainment.
It may be too small for a family---especially one with teenagers. I think it's ideal for first-time buyers, retirees or singles.
There is room for a TV on top of where the dresser looking thing is in the living room. I think it's odd that my parents and grandparents made two and three bedroom houses work with 6-8 people and we (including myself) cannot.
turn the couch around and put the TV where the couch was. simple
I like seeing more affordable homes, but I also really enjoy seeing the higher end homes as well. I really enjoy a nice mix of the homes. It might work to show a high-end home then a lower end home alternating them back and forth. Just an idea that might please both shoppers.
Beautiful home I would love to have this home!!!!!!
For a house so large it seems very congested. Not my taste, it looks like an apartment or townhome.
My friend has a condo with nearly this floor plan.
Its a nice layout but far smaller than it looks when stuff and people get moved in. After about a year in it she turned the entire 3rd floor into her bedroom and added a bath.
Thank you for taking us on these homes tours!! We appreciate all the travel time on the roads you put in, especially during inclement weather.
So I really like this home. I especially like the room sizes, especially the master bedroom plus its on suite that are not overblown ginourmous. Its just the perfect size. I also am happy about the windows in the bathrooms near the toilet. Nothing worse than a toilet hidden in a dark box without windows, my gosh, I would go claustrophobic - I need loads of windows and natural light.
I would completely do away with the 3rd floor, that is just a waste of space for me, afterall, there is a huge garage downstairs. A very nice home.
Nice house
While the smaller homes are more realistic, I still like seeing the higher end homes to see how you could incorporate some of those elements into a more affordable home.
I really love the layout of this place. It looks very cozy and modern.
A transom window is always over a door...

True. Think he only read part of the definition..
Where’s the dining room/ area???
Love the curb appeal! The porch is so inviting! Townhome-esque is a good description for this home. The lip on the back side of the island is good for the cook who needs to sit while preparing food. That would be me. 🙋♀️
I agree it does have a townhouse style. It has beautiful curb appeal.
The paint color is very relaxing, love the staging. This home is affordable and lovely. Tfs
Nice style and affordable
Not for me. I'd rather have a one story. I already have leg issues and recently I cracked my right knee cap. I ain't doing any stairs except the two in and out of the house. The same square footage as this one, but just two bedrooms. Add a Pantry, larger Living Room and a Dining area. I need a Basement, preferably a walk-out and you could always add bedrooms there in the future.
Anazing home
I find it strange the kitchen door opens out instead of in since it is a interior door, not a outter storm door.
Dislike is not a strong enough word for that floor plan. I get and appreciate what you're trying to do- show "affordable" homes. Today's housing market makes that extremely difficult. Maybe try Texas? Imo, i'd love to see more Olivias❤😊😊.
They don’t make new houses this small anymore. For the segment and size; this is pretty nice. The upstairs especially 2nd level especially surprised me.
Am I seeing things? or does the staircase seem to BLOCK visual access to the living area ? Love the deep velvet-y grey tones. Great home!
Very dated design. Immediate turn off for me.
What’s the name of the community this house is in?
I watch your videos to get ideas. I want to have a single floor house, not necessarily small in size; but apparently it will have to be a custom build. One would think that with an aging population or just preferring one level, builders would build a nice size house on single level. Oh well.
I dont understand builders putting utility spaces at the front of the houses and adding a window so people standing at the front door can review your coats and snow boots? You will always keep the curtain shut - so why have a window.
It looks big on the outside but is so cramped inside. Do not like that there isn't a dining room. You certainly couldn't have dinner guests. 🤔
Im placing my order:
Please send snow to NYC.
Children in Central Park are waiting.
Thank-you.
Alabama; no thank you!!!
No food pantry and where would you put a tv people to seat in living more less a Christmas tree for your family and no where to put a table for your family to eat at.Yea no
I don't like the sink in the corner in the kitchen. One look at that and I don't want to see the rest of the house.
The outside is horrific.
I wish you would show more stater homes under $250,000.... Who is affording the big Masons?????
Odd and mostly impractical design. Women need to be more involved in these plans.
Haha no thanks. The lot is small so they crammed it for a Yuppie eating Guacamole type. Yankee flavor not southern
it's just the DISPLAY lot to show how a home may be laid out, if you put it on your own property, it can have an inground pool and be on 100 acres! Afer all, this, is just a builders sample/model. But hey, some people don't really want anything outside to tend to, They just want a place to sit outside.
I enjoy looking at the mansions. ❤
It's not Yankee either
