you're a gem
Thank you so much bro
You're a great human being !💎🙏🏾
ohh man you are saviour.....
He said he had done MBA , but didn't mention from IIM Ahmedabad !
Salute . Wild guts.
When he said after
"Patal Lok's " success he is not fully satisfied even though it's one of the best Series India has ever produced
But rather he's contemplating on what level of work is going on all over the world and he's more interested on sort of improving his craft
A man who already made 2 cult series "Patal Lok" & "Kohraa" ... it's really commendable...
Watching Satya in a theater is probably one of the greatest moments in my life. Seems like a lot more people share similar thoughts about the movie.
It's an out an out flex broooo
Thank you for interviewing him. He doesn't get as much credit. Some of my favourite movies/tv shows recently have all been associated with him in some way. Looking forward to what he does next
Nuri Bilge Ceylan is a master with the camera. Love Once upon a time in Anatolia, Winter Sleep and The Wild Pear Tree. Waiting for About Dry Grasses. Loved his movie recommendations. Absolutely adore Paris Texas and I think everyone should watch it and other works of Wim Wenders. I recommend to everyone, a filmmaker who is rather underappreciated. Jean Cocteau has directed many a great movies, La Belle et la Bête, Les Parents Terribles being among his best known along with his magnum opus, Orpheus. If anyone is interested in surrealism or avant-garde cinema, he was at the forefront of both of these movements. He was also a poet, novelist, designer, playwright and visual artist.
Random movie recommendation- All that Jazz.
I need more Sudip Sharma interview
NH10 was such a great watch !! loved it
This episode truly captivates me; it's undoubtedly the best one so far. I'm eager to listen to more from Sudip Sharma- his natural, yet deeply analytical manner of speaking is truly captivating.
Been listening to Kohrra's songs for 10 days, got so happy when Vaibhav mentioned it.
Such a beautiful episode absolutely doing justice to a ‘recommendation’ channel. Also, I agree - every single person should read A Fine Balance.
This is going to be my one of the favourite chalchitra episode
Brilliant interview!
yeah yeah very talented ....patal lok's structure and story telling was picked from Alienist series (2018) and Kohraa's style is inspired from Memoirs from Murder or Korean drama Tunnel ..the cinematography was so similar
Sudip Sharma is such an interesting filmmaker, can't wait for Patal Lok 2
again waiting for the Most awaited Chaitanya Tamhane
The two greatest shows. It wasn't necessary to even name the shows after the sentence but Better call saul fanboys may need the names.
Sudip Sharma is one of the best show creator in India right now (Along with Hansal Mehta and Raj & DK) . Haathiram in North East for Pataal Lok season 2, what an amazing setup already. Also I feel Vaibhav has not seen "THE WIRE" till now . No special recommendation episode on The Wire till now.
Vaibhav is on season 2 of The Wire and is loving it!
Nice.. waiting for your deep dive and extensive recommendation/review response soon. It is indeed the GOAT show, you are little late though @@ChalchitraTalks
@@ChalchitraTalksdid you complete it. 🌝
You all spoke about Prison Drama and didn't mention "Oz".
Also, Bob Dylan 's blowing in the wind gets played in the background in opening scene of Article 15 which sorta sets the mood of the film.
Loved the podcast!
The thing you said about the coolness factor..I would like to point out some instances in the wire to add another perspective to it
One in which avon barksdale enters the pit in season 1 which is the only instance where the background music is used and accompanied by a simple slowmo. A very basic slowmo which I feel is one of the coolest slowmo scenes ever
Second scene where avon is followed by cops and but he circumvents them and gives them a head nod as he passes by
The wire shows how such simple scenes can be elevated without fancy camera gimmicks or fancy bgms... Just pure writing 🔥
epic recommendations
How do we have this interview without the mention of "The Story of My Assassins" even once?
Series was def better than the book….I felt like once we moved away from the self consumed journalist(in this case tejpals alter ego in the book) the whole storytelling as a whole got better
@@Peter_2345 I don’t think there’s a better book written on the Indian underbelly than Assassins. Moreover, how can the ‘writer’ of the series sit there with a straight face and discuss as if he’s the original creator of the characters, the story etc. is he completely shameless?
@@trojanhorseme1 maybe if the author Tarun Tejpal wasn't a rapist and a sexual harasser he would have brought it up...maybe his viewpoint on sexual harrasers isn't as lenient as yours...and I still think the series is way better coz the pov isn't a self consumed journalist but ur avg run of the mill incompetent Indian cop
Somebody jumping out of a scorpio 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 kill kar diya
It would be crazy for chalchitra talks to bring ram gopal varna know
Paatal Lok is not credited enough or is overshadowed by Sacred Games...
But it is one of the finest series to come out of India I believe...
HE IS LIKE ME ♥
Best
after this eps my letterboxd watchlist stands at 106 and it was 98 this morning
Samdish has definitely left an impact..the effort to emulate him is evident
good to see our best writers still engaging so well with Pakistani writers...for those who don't know Mohd hanif is one of the most brilliant hilarious writers from our region

One of the absolute best episodes in CCT. Absolutely loved it m, even though I know that I won’t be able to watch / read most of what he said. Because the list is getting bigger. 😂
Ask the guests

So desperately waiting to see Patal Lok Season 2.
When Mommy came to Mami :)
Paatal Lok Season 2 is on cards???
@kochikame363 mat dekho
Tim Burton's Frankenweenie!
JAI BHEEM was also great
Its 9:00 am. I need to sleep.
Bhai vaibhav apko hairloss hai h kya
😂😂 kya point hai
have started watching rectify after watching this video.
thanks for helping me "rectifying" my choices 😀
For an institution that is so brutal to its people, its a wonder why the Police, even more so in modern times is potrayed so sanitised.
For police brutality you can also watch “Reege” it’s one of the best marathi film
Paataal Lok was quite an average series. Haven’t seen Kohra.
🎉it's good
😂
I liked I Killed My Mother more than Mommy though
Cop mainstream movie….khakhee
Why is the interviewer acting like a doped teenager.
"Mujhe badol ney mey thora baqt lagta hya"..
Such hypocrisy... matlab ghar ki murgi daal barabar...how can you forget oscar winning teri meherbaniyan
Wow, blast from the past. I cried watching that movie.
Bhai Kohra was total bakwaas series and very very boring
Patal lok is highly over rated
This guy knows his stuff
So good to see someone finally spoke about Nuri Bilge Ceylan in the show. He is one of the greatest filmmakers in the world. Am a big big fan of him😊
