Native Lithuanian here. Lithuanian is a difficult language with a complex phonology and quite long words. That's why it's quite easy for us to pronounce other simpler languages correctly. English, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, Spanish, basically all western/northern european languages are simpler. We find it difficult to pronounce Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian, Turkish languages, but they're from a different language group and very different in structure. Slavic languages have complex grammar but are related to baltic languages, so they're not too difficult to learn and to pronounce.
@@blueeyedbaer I meant as a Lithuanian do you consider Greek with the simpler languages of west/north Europe or the more complicated ones like Hungarian, Finnish, and Turkish?
How do you find people to do these videos with? I kinda figured that you just zeroed in on tourists, but now there has been too many instances of them speaking our little language for that to be true, I think. :P
Pronunciation between lower and upper case does not change. Yes we do hear a big difference between those words others might not. If you are not aware this is a joke about our language.
we can one really big pros because it is easy to us speak in different languages without akcent because in our language is so many difficult letters so other languages can't be that difficult 😂
Är själv litauisk fast bor i sverige :-) (har egentligen bott i sverige hela livet fast mina föräldrar å samt släkt e från litauen osv) vilket det betyder att jag kan båda språken :) mitt första språk var litauiska och sen svenska, föresten så var du inte så dålig, jag känner i alla fall vissa som pratar sämre :D
I hate to be 'that guy', but the Lithuanian gal got it wrong with the first phrase. Swedish guy asked for a translation of "I studied languages", whereas she translated the phrase "I study languages". So she should have said "Aš studijavau kalbas", not "Aš studijuoju kalbas". I'm sure she just misheard (or her English is lacking), but my point here is that very small things in a language can make a huge difference. One that a non-native speaker might miss :)
I often hear the wrong thing or say a different thing in Swedish, but I try to be correct with the English sentence then. But thank you for pointing it out.
Interesting. You must be putting an extra effort to communicate correctly when speaking English. That matches my personal experiences with people from Nordic countries - you lot have maybe the best handle of English as far as non-native speakers go.
Mom why no one ever notice our country in youtube? Mom: Because we are shitty. Me: Mom, look, a alien. Mom: No It's a human. Me: But humans never notice Lithuania, is it God? (Lietuviai supras ;D)

@@bananaborz1 Greek is easy to pronounce. Not easy to learn and understand.

I don't if it's the dialect she is speaking in. But Lithuanian sounds happy.
Your look and even behavior reminds me of comedian Rimas Šapauskas from Lithuania.
That was really funny but it's okay you're learning it's normal ...greetings from my country Lithuania
wow, never heard of this language! sounds historical and very complicated. You did good for your first time!
Probably because latvian is the only relative alive and both countries aren't really known outside eastern europe and former ussr

... labai įdomų ... mycket intressant!
Not so bad.
"Ačiū" is easy to learn for everyone for some weird reason. :+D
Cause its the sound that people make when they sneeze :D
+Penki no its not the sound when you sneeze, youre actually saying it wrong
Rufly the same sound. Just a bit different "pronunciation" Less tress on the ending
Penki Its Ačiū not ačiŪ, thats why they are not similar at all, only foreigners can think like that.
Pronunciation between lower and upper case does not change. Yes we do hear a big difference between those words others might not. If you are not aware this is a joke about our language.
