I doubt Kovalev leaves Duva win or loss. I'm sure he has a bit of loyalty to her, due to nobody taking a flier on him when he was coming up. The weirdest thing about him to me is that he doesn't get the same HBO backing or promotion GGG gets, but he's more accomplished as a pro. Not sure what that is about, but hey none of my business.

Virgil is a master psychologist. Everything he said disguised like he was concerned was masterfully done to disrupt the camp with things other than the fight. Sergey not making the money Ward is, his dad dying, David Jackson being treated by Sergey like a non factor and brought in at the last minute before the fight, Sergey having to promote his own fight in his hometown like a two bit fighter instead of Duva promotions doing it, being a robot, not questioning his financial situation, growing up poor in Russia and eluding that's how he'll return after his career is over.....Bravo 👏 somebody had some questions to answer after this press conference 😂 and nobody even noticed it was all strategically done to distract everybody away from the fight on the Kovalev team..Duva,John Jackson, the promotion team and the dead father.....V I C I O U S!!!!!

If Kovalev is NOT getting his fare share there should be controversy to the betterment of the fighter. He may need to abandon his promoter the way Ward did and search for a new beginning. It's very important the fighters are treated fairly and is in control of their wealth.
I was an amateur boxer growing up and i wish I had a man like Virgil in my corner. This guy will go down in the hall of fame along with D'amato and Dundee. What a classy individual and it also shows in the demeanor of his fighters.

Virgil is really a nice genuine guy. I have met him many times at fights and he is very respectful and gracious to people who approach him and ask questions or for a photo. He treats everyone the same. Unlike some of the two faced people in boxing. Good man Virgil.
