Could you imagine 1:02 happening to you in real life? You get provoked by a bunch of kids who successfully lure you into a robbery? But you won't be armed with guns and have dead eye like Arthur did. Some people may be thick-skinned enough to dismiss the kids' roasts, but I understand how concerning it could be to those who are not so good.

Well thats the thing, not only are there a bunch of police there, making crimes really hard to get away with so the civillians feel safe gun or no gun, they also think saint denise is so civilized, that they don't have to have a gun.
@@Mobster78 i personally think it really shows the divide of the east and the west. The east and industrialization was catching up, amd the wild west was dying. That's why saint denise has so many people without guns. It represents the east crawling towards the west, trying to tame it, which it eventually will.
A: it's the old west B: he's not dead only knocked out. C: your reputation with the cops and town folk. And overall realism. There's likely more logical reasons. Some officers are also different than others.
Are those guys by any chance wearing black and have Italian accent? Found 2 of them around the docks by the railway, near the station i guess. They insulted me, i antagonized back and we fought. Arthur kicked their asses!
There was two events I saw saint denis one where it was a beger I gave him money The second was one with some kids were insult me so I told them to fuck off and chased after them and then the game remove my hud and I was jumped on from above with no chance to fight back and woke up missing five grand (all of my money) and of course the game autosaves so I did some money glitch with the tree because that didn’t feel fair and it felt like the game literally robbed me. Worst part is I was 90% sure it was a trick and went in there with my double barrel aimed but nooOoo the game forced me into getting robbed stupidest event ever.

I wasn't fast enough to rescue the guy being robbed, tried to turn in the robber for a bounty, got a bounty on my self for kidnapping and murder ( shot the "witness")
There's about 2 or 3 beggars in Saint Denis, but only one of them pretends to be blind. Just can tell by pointing your gun at him, or try to steal his money. He'll grab his hat away if you try to steal his money lol
I got an encounter right outside of the city we're a few guys holding guns told me they had a proposition for me. Being wary and unable to greet them on my horse I stood there for 2 seconds and they got mad at me and started to shoot at me. Not wanting to cause trouble in town Iran but they followed me all the way back to The gangs house. How to use my deadeye to murder them all. Still wondering what that was about so I went here trying to find it.
Yeah was still a noob when I posted this. Didn't realize someone could try to rob you in town where it's easy to get a bounty just for retaliating. I thought it was a neutral random event and got confused why they got mad for not saying anything

This game has so much depth, I’ll still occasionally hop on and free roam and there’s still new things to discover every time.
