Thank you for an excellent video. But what I want to ask is, are these photos taken with fujifilm the original versions of the photo? Is there any editing with Lightroom? Or if you used a preset of the camera can you tell me which preset, I love the colors in the photos...
@@Xaent these images are all shot in RAW but edited with presets as a base (Classic Chrome for the Fuji, Positive Film for the Ricoh). I only make some minor additional tweaks in Lightroom.
Amazing video & stills man! (Came for the Ricoh GR, stayed for the content 😁) I was wondering if this was a solo trip or did you go with a touring company?
@@KarLaurence great to hear it! This was a 7 night trip that I planned together with my wife and two friends. 4 adults + 4 suitcases in a Dacia Duster was a squeeze, but just about manageable.
You do realize the GRIIIx teleconverter gives you 60mm FF equivalent and 75mm is just a further digital crop? That’s why you get lower res with it on. Why not tape up the contacts and reclaim the resolution for 60mm?
Yes, I'm aware of the additional crop, but I prefer having a focal distance further away from the X100vi. I didn't know you could bypass it by taping the contacts, so I may give that a go in another video 📸

Definitely my favourite video of yours to date! The narration guide was excellent more please...looking forward to part 2, stunning views.

Brilliant documentation of your trip, Mark! I love the bright tones in the shots of the red church! 😍👏
Cheers - yeah, I was stalking that church for some time.

Can i ask you what recipes / simulation do you use on the X100VI?
Classic chrome + minor lightroom tweaks
If you wanted ring roads and Icelands you could have just stayed in London geezer... Geysir? Great vid. Makes me want to travel again.
