The best feature of this camera is the leaf shutter and the internal ND filter and of course the range finder style shooting. Other than that I rather get an xt5 with a pancake lens from voigtlander or even the 16mm f2.8 (24mm FF equivalent) which is tiny and resolves very well the 40mp sensor.
Also just got it a few weeks ago right before a family trip to Sequioa. Loving it so far! Ordered it day of release from BH and showed up out of the blue on day. Would love to see a video on your favorite recipes. So far I've been rocking Reggie's Portra and one of Blase Pivovar's recipes.
I think the XM5 will kill the X100vi. Basically the same processor and film simulations, but has interchangeable lenses which is the main shortcoming of the X100vi. No need for 40 megapixels in what should be a walk around camera. Young people graduating from a camera phone buying their first proper camera don’t need 40 mg or a viewfinder. I am a Canon shooter (5D mark iii) and don’t like mirrorless (more particularly EVF’s) when compared to glass. I’d rather use the back screen like a phone than a shitty low res EVF
no it will not... no leaf shutter, no build in flash, no premium materials, no weather seal, no good 23 mm compact lens (the F2 is soft as a mofo), no IBIS etc. etc...... not to talk about the colorscience of the 40 mp is WAY nicer than the 26 mp sensor. It's very clear to see that many people don't know a lot about cameras and don't understand why stuff costs as it costs...

I just use the Portra 800 v3 recipe from the fuji x weekly app...i think thats what the app is called haha
