Covid travel restrictions & Rob living in Malta are why we’ve not had Andertons videos in a while, both obvious and understandable reasons. However people love to look for drama where there is none.

Great to see you, Rob! Seeing you with Captain Lee again brings back memories because thanks to you both, I bought my first electric guitar almost exactly 8 years ago!

I really, really like this video. It was different than any Anderton's video ever seen. It definitely enhances the experience of those who've been with all things Anderton's for years. It took me back to the two of you sitting on a couch , and the Captain was to nervous to play , so most playing was done by Rob . I’m so glad for all the success you have had . It was well earned .
I miss those jams with Rob and the captain and how their styles countered each other.

You haven't seen the klon rage lately? It's been pricey as hell for a while now. I don't get it either though. I have a Wampler tumnus deluxe and if you watch blindfold challenge videos most people think the tumnus is better.

Not sure what he tax laws are in England, but I'm guessing they can expense the klons as they were necessary for filming videos and as such are classified as "marketing" material for the channel and ultimately the store.

@@paulcatarino2209 Our tax laws aren't that simple. Those Klons might come under capital gains, where half of the cost is taken off the tax bill for the first year, a fourth taken off the next year, an eighth the next. Maybe.

I used to watch the two of you every single episode for years. Life got in the way, and I just ordered a new guitar. Immediately went to youtube to look for cap n chappers vids. Hopefully this is not the most recent one! ultimately not surprised you split off on your own with your travel distance and schedule so congrats but I would love to see some new cap n chaps!

The chemistry and friendship are what made me subscribe all those many years ago (and buy more than a couple of geetars from Mr Lee and co btw). You guys also made me start playing again after decades away. You have the magic snake oil (TM) that reaches out from the screen and grabs us by the creative nodules. If only snake oil could bottle capt Lee vibro-sauce! Guitar lube for the discerning gentleman...

@@Mr___X Five years ago, used 2013 Gibson Les Paul 50s Tribute, $499. Used 2013 Gibson Les Paul 70s Tribute, $699. I'd call those budget guitars, personally, but I understand that "budget" is open for debate.
