I love the Leuchtturm 80 GSM paper. I tried a lot of other notebooks before I got a LT but since I got one I never looked back. I have been using them consistently for more than 4 years. The only paper that could compare was Midori MD paper but the MD Notebooks have no hardcover option, 1 less bookmark, and no page numbers and I could never quite nail down if the MD paper is acid free. The MD paper is also a dream to write on though and I actually like the ghosting and "used" feeling of the LT paper. That being said, since Tomoegawa stopped making Tomoe River Paper and Sanzen began making the Tomoe River S Paper that they put in the new Hobonichis I have become a huge fan of that. The new paper is SOOO much better for gel and highlighting that I am finally able to use a Hobonichi weeks which I am thrilled about. But I always get a Leuchtturm if I need a notebook b/c I love the features and the paper but if I'm getting a pad I can get MD, Maruman, Rhodia, etc.
Great video!! Thanks so much for all the time and effort (and expense LOL) you invested here -- much appreciated! Never knew about the Change Journal before ....
Thank you!!! So helpful. I've a question about the A5 Jotter - is it possible to slide the cover in the pocket of the the hardback A5 version? Or is it too large? I'm thinking just to hold it in place 😊
I just tried it for you! The Jotter is too large to fit in the pocket. The books are both exactly the same height, and the pocket is a few centimeters shorter. A better idea would be to put them together in a traveler's notebook.
I love your attack on the use of Sharpie in notebooks/sketchbooks. ... I lose all respect for people who review art supplies, notebooks, etc. when the reviewer uses a permanent marker in books. If they don't know about the correct use of equipment, then they also don't have credibility with me to review equipment.

Haha a Leuchtturm petting zoo!!! I love it!! 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Baby goats are cuter, though 😊 🐐 💕
My Mom just said her favorite place is the fabric petting zoo ~ aka the good Jo-Ann nearby. 🧣 ✂️ 😂
