Well, 12 weeks covers an average school or university “term” of between 10-12 weeks, so it makes sense. And I like how it starts simply from week 1, and the explore/experiment interactions increase throughout the 12 weeks. I’ve never heard of this, I like it!
This was the first of your videos that I've watched. I ordered the journal, but from the the USA Leuchttrum site. They provide free shipping but no Notably Emily 20% discount. I mentioned in their survey about the order that they should give you credit for the sale! I'm a long time Leuchttrum fan and am grateful that you expanded my knowledge. Hope you will record the conclusion of your Learning Journal. Thank you so very much!
Thank you so much Eugenia! I appreciate you telling them I should be credited for the sale! 💕 Apologies my code didn’t work for you, I have been trying to get US code but it hasn’t happened yet. I hope you love your Learning Journal! Enjoy ✨😄
Hi Emily, Great video! I'm doing the same thing so you get credit. Hope they will give you a usable US code too! I can't wait to get this journal! @@notablyemily
Homeschool mom here thinking how I might use this for 12 week unit studies! ❤ Going to consider this. We use notebooks as it is. So, why not try one that prompts and guides the learning experience!
Thanks for sharing this! I've been curious about it for a while but was unsure what it was really like. I have the Change Journal and that one is great.
OOO, lovely seeing another UXer; good luck on your journey! This came up as a recommendation and sparked my attention knowing that a learning journal existed.
I'd love to hear how it went after you're done. I ordered one earlier and I'm still waiting on it, but no one has made a video of them actually using it and i love that I'm seeing it in practice.
I think these are best for someone learning things on their own! Because these require a lot of time commitment and give you homework each week to deepen your learning, it would be like doubling your coursework. But if your course is unstructured or doesn’t go deep enough, this would be a great way to do it :) I would suggest getting one for each topic you have because it would be difficult to add everything to one book if you’re spanning multiple topics. Good luck ☺️
Nearly bought this today Emily. There’s a lot of space for Explore. Am thinking of taking a 12+ week course in Jazz Blues guitar in February. Could I stick charts in it? What do you think?
Hey David!! You could definitely stick things into it, use it like a scrapbook, throw multimedia at it, anything you want! They encourage you to make the journal really interactive and stick things in, as long as you don’t mind it getting bulky 😊
Im just bad in grad school but my courses are only 8 weeks long each - am wondering how I would end up using a 12 week journal but can see the possibilities for sure!
Hey Terri! Since this provides a lot of structure it could feel like doubling your coursework if you use it for an actual class that already has lots of assignments. If your class is very light on homework/assignments (such as the grades are mostly from exams let's say) I think this would be a great companion! Hope that helps :)
I do! With all the different ways they have you apply what you're learning and the experiments and such it can help keep things interesting for sure :)
There’s at least one learning experiment each week and they’re always different! Sometimes there’s more than one in a week so you could choose to do whichever one or all of them 😊

Yes exactly! I was thinking the same thing 😊 I’d never heard of it either before getting my hands on it and I’m glad I did! 🙌
Idk where you're from, but in the US terms are about 16 weeks
I’ve been hoping someone would review this journal. It looks as fabulous as I’d imagined. I’m a huge Leuchtturm fan. Great video!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much 😊

This looks very interesting for people with adhd or other attention related struggles. Thank you for the review!

Wow that’s such a great idea! I think kids would get a lot out of these and the experiments would be so fun for them. 🤩
Oh my God!!! I want all of them!!!

The Change journal sounds so interesting! Glad you enjoyed 😄

Ooooh this looks so interesting!! Never heard of a Learning Journal before
It’s such a cool concept!
That looks so cool! Might need to get that for language learning
I think so too! It would add a lot of fun to learning a language I think :)
I'd love to hear how it went after you're done. I ordered one earlier and I'm still waiting on it, but no one has made a video of them actually using it and i love that I'm seeing it in practice.
Leuchtturm also sells a music journal with printed staffs. Awesome!
Isnt that so cool?! Very unique!
I would love to see a follow-up at the end. Looks like a really useful tool.
love this idea, annnd it helps you see how far you’ve come!!
Yesss exactly!! 😊
Girl, your nails are beautiful!
Thank you so much!! I do them myself 🤩✨
What a great review ! I didn’t know much about this journal and this was very helpful !
I’m glad you found it helpful 🤩
This looks so useful! Going on my wish list ASAP!
It’s super useful! 😊
Thank you I’ve been curious about this journal, I think I would invest to determine if it’s a learning tool I can benefit from.
You're welcome! I would definitely view it as an investment, both monetarily and time wise! :)
Very cool Journal. I filled up 5 pages with notes watching this video. Once my Bitcoins go up in value I will buy a few of these. Great video!
That’s amazing! Hope you find them helpful when you get your hands on them! 😄
Do you think might help someone learn school subjects ? Would one need a book for every school subject ?

But is the explore section each week too big? Did you spend much time completing it?
Out of stock on their website. Set a reminder to check in a couple weeks.
If you’re looking on the Canadian website both of them are in stock at the moment, I just checked! :)
I would love to see an update!
Im just bad in grad school but my courses are only 8 weeks long each - am wondering how I would end up using a 12 week journal but can see the possibilities for sure!
That makes sense! You might be able to use it to start your semester early or expand on your knowledge after the semester ends. Thanks so much 💕
Do you think this is better suited to self-learning or in conjunction with an actual class?

👍
Do you think this would be helpful for learning a language
Yes I think so! :)
Ive been keeping a learning journal for 4 years.
That’s amazing!! You must have a wealth of knowledge collected in it 😊
Im so curious about her pen case 👀
It's a 6 pen case from Galen Leather in Crazy Horse Brown :)
Can you link the washi tape on this video?!
Can you have several learning exercises or do you have to follow one exercise?

Very interesting!
I tried your code but it says it is expired
Hi, Sorry you’re having trouble. The code only works on the Canadian website: leuchtturm1917.ca. I just verified myself that it’s still working!
Great people, please help to find where I can order this notebook from? Thanks in advance! ✊
It’s linked in the description! It’s from Leuchtturm1917, you can use my code EMILY20 on the Canadian website for 20% off your purchase 😊
The code doesn’t work 😢
Hi! Sorry to hear you're having trouble. The code only works on the Canadian website leuchtturm1917.ca. I just tested it and it worked for me!
