- The iconic F-type has been updated for 2021. Under the hood you have three engine options, and only one transmission option. Under the hood of this F-Type is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 that is producing 296HP & mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. On the outside you will find revised headlights, front fascia, rear fascia, and wheels. On the inside are some changes like a 12in driver information display. Is the NEW 2021 Jaguar F-Type First Edition worth the price?

don’t, it’s the most unreliable thing ever. My uncle got one and in the first week the leather on the seats was coming off. And the mechanical problems are a nightmare.

Really nice looking car, but at 76K, it should of had the Supercharged V8, under the hood. At that price point I would rather get a used C7 Corvette Z06 convertible with 650 Horsepower.
I have a C8 corvette convertible and oh god I bought it new and there is already issues. It makes rattling noises when I gun it. American engineered vehicles are just horrible.

Okay 76k for a 2.0 inline 4 for 296hp...boy oh boy... and a well equipped 2020 GT500 is 81k. Maybe if the car was 40-50k brand new it mightof had a bigger market but at the price its at... there won't be many buyers :/ the V8 at 100k is okay... it loses 50% of value in 2 years though😆😆

Beautiful iconic color. I think their 380 HP Supercharged V6 Type S w/ center exhaust is gorgeous. Of course the V8 Type R is a monster.

I ended up getting the last gen F-Type back in December because I wasn't sure about that new front end. I'm still not really feeling it, but it's definitely the best car I've ever had. Always a blast to drive!

I am saving up for the convertible. I grew up with an XK-140.
I see some people complaining about this car's price. I get it, you can buy more powerful cars in the USA for less money, but in Europe, we don't have so many options. We can only get a Mustang or a used 5th-gen Camaro (which was briefly sold here, but they are very rare). Other than those two, we can only choose between a bunch of expensive sports cars and importing an American muscle car to Europe is a nightmare, so the F Type, as expensive as it is, makes sense here.
I think I prefer the 2014-2019 Jag F-type a bit more. Especially because there isn't much of a difference with the interior. But this one is still HOT for sure!
My favorite car. The first time I see those wheels, though! I’m loving them. Wish they were 19” though; makes the ride less bumpy
$76k for a 4 banger. Could be the most expensive 4 banger out there.
You can get them brand new for 60ish with all the options, much better looking than the one in this video. Funny thing is most people would never know and would think your in a 100K+ monster 😂

It's still a nice looking car but I like the front end and headlight of the previous gen. The front grill looks similar to other cars like the infiniti.

What can be more beautiful than an F-Type with British Racing Green paintjob? This Jaguar does looking good with that iconic colour. Very beautiful updated F-Type. I prefer this F-Type than the previous one, Jaguar just did a great job redesigning this car.

Hey Donald! I see this review opened up a lot of questions.Victor is new to the team and a great videographer. The rake of doesn't mess up the view whatsoever. The only way to get your F-Type is FWD or RWD.

Love the 2008-2009 XJ. Last classic Jag. The XJ is the British Ford Taurus.

My mother had the 2011 supercharged xjl and no problems for 60k miles until we had to sell it when she got sick. Amazing cars.
I have a V8 convertible and have been driving it daily for 5 years now. A couple pretty small issues, that were covered by warranty. Great car, hard to find something better for that price
I love the F-Type but the 4 banger is a no-go, especially for 76k. Imagine a Civic Type R pulling up next to you knowing that it might pull away from you.

If speed is the only reason you buy a car then yes. Otherwise no. Some people just want a luxury convertible to roll around town in.
I can understand that, different strokes for different folks. I just think that for that style and type of car that even the entry level model should have at least 350hp.

I agree with what you said at the end of the video but you should know that the buyers your referring to are very few if any. Jaguar will be forced to adapt to survive.

Over $80 grand after tax ,and it does 0-60 in 6.3 seconds. 2021 GTI stock does it in 5.8 seconds for 28k gtfo.
Best buys for Ftype is the 2015 ftype s 5.0 0 - 60. You can get similar spec as this one with less than 20k miles for around half the price. Plus 2015 they still had hydraulic steering rack. I prefer it.

To be honest I would get this f-type with at least the supercharged v6 because the 2.0T simply doesn’t suit this car when it comes to sound or acceleration

Still nice, but I do prefer the look of the previous model with the shark fin nose, and the rounded e-type inspired rear lights and double exhaust. But to each his own.

Omg I love this car so much my heart nearly stopped when I was looking at convertibles and saw this one today! For me its way sexier than the BMW, Mercedes benz, corvette, Camaro, mustang, Audi convertibles. I literally just want a beautiful looking convertible to turn heads im not trying to race or get tickets - and this totally fits the bill! Im definitely gonna save up to get a used one in a couple of years glad to know its gonna be a lot cheaper

MSRP might be 76k, but you could probably haggle that down to less than 70k if you find a dealer that wants your business. Nearly bought the 6 cylinder last year. Dealer tried to push me into it, but it was just too much of a stretch for me. Stunning car. Kinda wish I bought it now.

How is that car comes with racing green tan Windsor seats engine inline 4 when u cannot spec that car online. It must be a special dealer spec. I hate online spec because some dealers can order specials just to get u come in and buy. BS!! It’s just strange u might want to double check again Joe.

Beautiful car. But a Camaro V6 convertible will blow it out of the water for half the price. Yeah I know a pony car versus a Jaguar sports car but still. A lot of money to pay for fancy leather and nice appointments IMO.

I could see 50-55k at most for the 2.0L turbo at most(accounting for the extra cost of the brand). The performance with that engine is lacking compared to most hot hatches or even a miata. If the interior wasn't as good it would be 40-45k. It's a nice car but your paying about 15k just for the name.

I wonder what price point would make this worth it. I agree with what I have seen most people say of how it's a bit overpriced. Jaguars depreciate pretty quickly though and I know you can get a few year old f type for around the 40k mark and near new.

I tried to like the new design but I just couldn’t. I think they ruined the front end. Especially on the R version with those huge vents that look like they’re aftermarket and just stuck on the bumper... shame. Cayman GT4 over this in my opinion.
