I am so impressed with what they did here. This felt earned, deserved, and genuine. They handled this really well. "Being your friend is not a consolation prize." What a beautiful thing to say!
Honestly, they did the 'friendzone to boyfriend' so right. Freddie saying that he loves being Carly's friend and being upset at how her rejection still hurt him...that feels so REAL. He's doesn't lament being friendzoned because he sees Carly as a full person and not just as potential girlfriend material, so yes he's very happy being friends. But at the same time it still hurts that she doesn't reciprocate. And he's *allowed* to feel hurt about that. This is not what I expected from the iCarly reboot but I am here for it!

That said, Carly truly valued Freddie's friendship during that time, and over time developed feelings for Freddie. It was only when he was pursuing other girls that she began to see him differnetly.
23 years old and I just balled my eyes out. I started watching this at 7-8. I grew up with this show. I feel like I just accepted that I’m actually grown up too and have got to make my own life.
I was a seddie shipper growing up, but for 2 adults that want a mature, healthy, peaceful relationship, creddie makes the most sense. I think it’s true to Sam’s character to have her life’s dream be joining a nomadic biker gang (even more than staying with Freddie), and that’s the opposite of what Freddie (who stayed in Seattle and has a daughter) wants.
Exactly I used to ship seddie so hard. But if they were to get together as adults I think their relationship would have been so toxic not a healthy one at all. While Carly and Freddie as adults represent a loving healthy mature relationship.
It’s adorable when you see both of them admit how they like each other and want a relationship they both are holding back tear as they tell each other their feelings and also have a little fear wondering how each other will respond and then when they both get the responses they want they in a way kind of break down.
Carly and Freddie have matured so much since the Nickelodeon 'iCarly' series. After everything they've been through, they deserve to be happy together!
The show from it where started from 2007 to now, they couldn't build this any better. I never thought we see the day that Carly and Freddie be a official couple. There always meant to be because Freddie was always there for here and Carly was supportive for him. The reboot was the perfect way to revive this two characters and see how they grow from where it ended to now. It took 16 years but it was worth all the wait!! The part when Freddie counts 5-4 and they kiss again was perfect!!
After 16 years, all the teases and plot twists, ISaved Your Life, the finale kiss, moving to Italy, the fake relationship, to this moment has been well worth the wait! It’s finally official: CREDDIE! ❤
I've basically been waiting for Creddie to happen since the original series, and I was sure I'd be excited when it finally happened, but this was so much better than anticipated! I love everything about this episode; it may be one of my favorite episodes of any show ever. I love how they were both basically crying because it is really emotional when two people who are as close as Carly and Freddie cross into new territory. I love that they finally had a kiss when both of them meant it, and not because one saved the other or they were saying goodbye. This kiss was the start of something, not the end. And I especially love how they didn't drag out this story. I was worried we'd have to wait until the end of the season for them to get together, but since they got together so early, we have basically an entire season to see them date, which is really exciting. This episode was just perfection!
I said the same thing, that it's one of my favorite episodes of any show ever! Hooray for Carly and Freddie finally getting together after all these years 🥰

In regards to Carly not appreciating Freddie...they were teenagers. Most girls don't realize that the right guy for them is right in their front of them.
24 years old, same here 🙌
Another 24-year-old here! I didn't expect to cry like THAT, still kinda shocked
Can we all agree that Spencer is just consistently THE best
I remember watching the original show back in the day, and now this is happening. It's completely amazing.
💜💜
Well it technically did happen already, but it just ended quickly. That's all. From the original series
@@Grimreaper-nc7gp it happened in the wrong reasons.
@@Unversed333 yeah, true
Honestly I like slow burning relationships more than people just getting into a relationship instantly. This was perfect! ❤
That's what makes this moment feel so earned. You appreciate it more because you had to patiently wait for it to happen.
i’m sayinggg, like i’d rather feel the anticipation n being the edge of my seat
Carly: "You're the one who pushes me to do the things I need to do even when I really don't want to"
Freddy - Has to give one final nudge.
Perfection
Absolute perfection 🥺✨

It’s adorable when you see both of them admit how they like each other and want a relationship they both are holding back tear as they tell each other their feelings and also have a little fear wondering how each other will respond and then when they both get the responses they want they in a way kind of break down.
YES💓🥺

Carly and Freddie have matured so much since the Nickelodeon 'iCarly' series. After everything they've been through, they deserve to be happy together!
The show from it where started from 2007 to now, they couldn't build this any better. I never thought we see the day that Carly and Freddie be a official couple. There always meant to be because Freddie was always there for here and Carly was supportive for him. The reboot was the perfect way to revive this two characters and see how they grow from where it ended to now. It took 16 years but it was worth all the wait!! The part when Freddie counts 5-4 and they kiss again was perfect!!
2:12 We felt Freddie’s pain from all these years of being in the friend zone Holy Mackerel *Coach K voice* 😭
The acting was so heartfelt and genuine. Applause to Miranda and Nathan in this episode. #CreddieForevie
is it really that hard to spell forever 😭
FOREVIE 😭😭
I WAITED MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD FOR THIS MOMENT! GO FREDDIE!!!!
CREDDIE!!
Creddie forever
I LOVE HOW SPPENCER ALWAYS TRIES THE BEST HE CAN AND DOES ANYTHING FOR CARLY
After 16 years, all the teases and plot twists, ISaved Your Life, the finale kiss, moving to Italy, the fake relationship, to this moment has been well worth the wait! It’s finally official: CREDDIE! ❤
CREDDIE!!
🖤🖤
I said the same thing, that it's one of my favorite episodes of any show ever! Hooray for Carly and Freddie finally getting together after all these years 🥰
Seriously! We never realized how we had to see it with an actual natural progression that only aging over the years could make happen 🥺😭💕 just like in some irl love stories, it might be the right person but not the right time and it just would not have made as much sense back then as it does with where they are now 🥰
@@lizzie354 my point exactly, all along they were always the right people, wrong time trope couple with the suspense at the end of the line..and now they've slow-burned as bestfriends to lovers 🥰🔥🥺
Awe Freddie CHERISHES being her friend it's truly a beautiful thing.
Thanks for making a grown man cry iCarly was my childhood and to finally see them together makes me so happy
I was never really a Freddie and Carly fan…..but….this genuinely brought a tear to my eye
Can we appreciate the acting performance by Nathan Kress? Chilling and so well done
I think this is the Slowest Friends to Lovers line in tv history but it was totally worth the 16 years long wait….
We all are happy to see Creddie be together!!❤️❤️❤️

It's actually so special that we got to grow up with them. A lot of shows just end with the characters in high school and that's it, so you don't really know if they can make it together as adults, but here we are!
Agree, honestly of all the revival shows I kinda wished they do it with Victorious since that’s the show that never had an ending
@@madtitan0825 Sadly, that won't happen in the near future since the cast are quite busy with other stuff. That said, they should really get one of them for this revival.
This episode had me screaming. Wasn’t prepared for the emotional plot twist. This is how you do these characters justice 💯
Man Freddie became a great actor
The chemistry between Carly and Freddie was unbelievable these two went from best friends to soulmates
i waited more than a decade for this and it finally payed off 🥺 i love these two together so much and i'm excited to see them as an official couple this season 💞
That second kiss felt like the long awaited one
I agree. Maybe its because we’ve seen these two kiss before not once but twice and it never lead to anything more. That second kiss cemented this is actually happening. This time its not a tease or a goodbye. Its not something they thought they wanted until they got it. They are both ready and all in.
@@Book_Dragon2562 yessss I completely agree
Miranda said it was an improv

That scene was so perfect!!! The emotions, the delivery!!! My eyes were teary and I got goosebumps ♥
She’s right, he did deserve to here that. I’ve watched them since I was younger.. I felt his pain then and I’m alleviated of it now.
Well done Freddie! Proud of you bro 💎❤️ (the little kid in me cheering him on).
Finally! They're so cute. They're soulmates ❤
They're wonderful together! ❤😍

Bruh what would Sam?!
@@MaddieBuilds her absence is explained as "she is following her bliss with a biker gang called The Obliterators"
Freddie getting choked up makes me want to cry!! He waited 16 years for them to finally be boyfriend and girlfriend and it was definitely all worth it 🥺💕
They were once buds, and now, their relationship is on a roll!
The scene between Freddie and Spencer is so well acted!!!!
One of my favorite shows growing up! Im glad they re made it and gave it the same feel. It also feels like they finally finished the story!
The cool thing about these shows getting revived is that you get to see storylines you know they'd never tell originally as kids. It's pretty cool.
Yeah🥺♥️we get to live and see where their story finally led and ended at🥰as for these 2, we always knew they were end-game and the original ended with their kiss and proof of feelings there, now this just has done justice at alas in their adulthood at the right time ✨

The chemistry between these two is just so amazing! I’m been shipping creddie since day 1!!
I loved watching iCarly when I was 12-14 and I always rooted for Carly and Freddie to end up together. This feels so magical! 🥺
The fact it took this long makes it even more of an "aawwww" moment.❤❤❤

Now here's an idea: Don't break them up again! Lol. Ups and downs are fine..but let them be endgame now. 😍❤️
Imagine in the end he goes back to Sam.😂 Freddie always goes to Sam when Carly turned him down. But Creddie is cute too.
@@MelisTeke-db5ji Well keep in mind Freddie & Sam kissed each other first, and later on he kissed her twin sister, Melanie, then eventually briefly dated Carly.
If this was any other streaming service, I'd be worried about them firing a torpedo at the ship.
But Paramount+ has historically been bad about getting ships to sail in the first place, so we should be okay.
This development made me so happy, but I immediately started wondering when they’re going to start the breakup arc for the sake of drama.
I really hope I’m wrong, though.
I’ve always knew it was meant to be from the very beginning of Freddie being a shy kid to Carly from across the hallway all the way to this. All totally worth it

Great video, there is nothing like a perfect marriage or relationship, I learnt that in everything there is always a solution, 5 years ago I and my wife divorced because we were having some difficulties in our marriage but we are back together, it was a really bad phase but we got through it.

Freddie counted down to the kiss 😅 bruh you've waited long enough and you are counting down? 😂
It was that surreal to him🥺😂🤭
Ever since I first watched the show from 2007 as a 12 yr old, the _only_ reason that kept me watching was because of my childhood crush to Miranda Cosgrove, as well as seeing Freddie (Nathan Kress) as a representation of me crushing on her. Even throughout these years, 'iSaved A Life' episode still stands out as my favourite one. To make matters even crazier, I had a real-life overseas crush over a girl since 2007 who closely resembled Miranda. So, whenever I watched Carly & Freddie around each other I always imagined me & my real-life crush.
There's no denying I was shipping them from Day 1. And now... finally getting to see this truly happen, of Carly & Freddie getting together... is just true happiness manifested. Each time I watch this, I get teary. Because the show producers made a dream come true for many, many iCarly fans around the world.
And now... all I have left is to make this same dream come true with my real-life crush/first love. Which I'm only able to cling on to hope, faith & trust with our current circumstances.
I was sceptical before, but I really have to say they did an amazing job. What both of them said was just beautiful ❤
It makes me happy to see Carly & Freddie FINALLY get together and start the next chapter of their lives officially as Boyfriend & Girlfriend.
This hits so hard when you grew up watching them. Ugh I love it!!!!
