Great video and nice crossing! The crossing being set to activate as soon as the switch is opened for a train to head down it reminds me of a crossing on the CSX Cartersville Subdivision between Rockmart and Cedartown, GA. Next to that crossing is the switch for a passing siding, and apparently the crossing is set-up to remain active if the switch is opened into the passing siding. Not entirely sure why, I think at most CSX just uses it for L810 to run around their train or store cars on occasionally, as the line dead-ends about nine miles to the west of that crossing in Cedartown (what was once the SCL's Birmingham Sub was abandoned west of there to Wellington, AL, back in the 1980s).
Nice videos! I love the signal box right next to it, makes it a unique sight to see. Would love to go to this location
Thank you! It is quite intriguing
Unusual sight with a signal box by an AHB!
Excellent video and crossing 👍
Thanks!

Nice!

Excellent Videos! Did you go to Stannington L/C? It’s just right near Clifton.
Thanks! Indeed I did, though the video won't be released for a little while.
