Taylor My wife bought me the Trayvax Element Wallet for Christmas about six years ago. I love it and use it all the time. I knoticed it’s a bit tough to slide the cards out but it works perfectly fine. I would love to get the new style of this one and keep it the same style as I have my Element.
I really like Trayvax products but they are so expensive. Paying 50 bucks for a key lanyard and 200 for a wallet is insane to me. I got the beard comb on sale for Christmas like two years ago but I haven’t been able to justify paying the price for some of these other products. I know their products are all hand made and made in the US with quality materials so I understand the price it’s just a little high for me
@spencersonnier1 I agree that their products are a expensive but you get for what you pay. And it's a 65 year warranty. For example, I have been going thru wallets every 2-3 years but since I bought their contour, that won't be an issue. And you can really tell the quality apart from a $20 wallet that you get at Walmart to the Trayvax's wallets once yoy hold it in your hand. You only live once and there is no such thing as a Uhaul full of your money attached to a herst. Cannot take all of your money to the grave anyway. Give it a try if you have the means.
I use to be that way with them now I’m okay with spending the price for a good product same reason why I buy from live bearded and duke cannon products and Chaves knives
Another thing worth mentioning about the warranties, if your wallet wears out in some way and needs to be replaced, and they no longer carry it (like in my case, I had the original 1.0), they will credit you with the price of the wallet you bought and let you get whatever you want off their website. The idea being you'd get the original 2.0, but you could put that price towards another wallet if you wanted. Just amazing customer service.
I did a lot of research on wallets a year ago. A buddy let me test drive his ridge for a month. Ended up buying a knock verison by apache ridge and after a year its held up with no issues. I went with the cash strap as i rarely carry cash and wanted minimalist as possible. Now that I'm carrying more cash because of how I'm budgeting more tightly the cash strap sometimes gets hung or I push it and my cash comes loose and falls out while removing it from my pocket. I want a contour bad but cant justify the money.
I have the OG 2.0, Element, Contour, and Link and love them all. I cycle through the wallets weekly. I like the Link because I have car keys on the clip end and house keys on the quick release. When I bike or go for a walk it’s a snap to just take the house keys.
I have the ascent and summit. Love both of them and the company has great customer support. I had a problem with my order and they replied and fixed it in under an hour!
Good reviews. I have the contour wallet in brass and Mississippi mud, an all black cinch belt, and the nylon lanyard with the quick connect. Love trayvax's products although some I feel can be a tad cheaper but on the flipside they honor a 65 year replacement of anything breaks.
Just got my engraved Titanium Contour in the mail, and love it. As a surprise they threw in a Summit in for a free gift 👌. Living up here in Ontario it came as a expensive purchase, just over $300 CAD. Threw on a leather lanyard and matches very well with my custom Bugout. Very happy with the purchase.
I have a trayvax wallet with lanyard that I love, and everyone I show it to loves it. Only problem is, not everyone can afford them because they are quite pricey. As I said, I love it and maybe what I paid is a fair value, still thinking about that. I've looked over some of their other offerings, for example the knife and I like it but I don't know if it's really such a great value. Think I'll just enjoy my wallet for now and see what they come up with next with great hopes they can find a way to make their wonderful products a little more affordable.
These types of wallets have come a long way since I last looked in to them. Bought a ridge wallet like 5 years ago, and never looked back. These things look neat and have more features, but there’s just something about the simplicity and minimalism of my ridge wallet. I like the key organizer you showed a lot. I may look in to that, granted I carry very few keys. Anyways. I was subbed to Mod for a long time before you went mia, found my way here through your update video. Glad to see your content again, you’re killing it.
I just got the trayvax link and i absolutely love it! I like it being long so i can tuck my keys into my back pocket so that they are hidden and do not jingle around. It is lomg enough that i dont have to undo the keys when im locking and unlocking my house doors and then since its not magnetic, when i sit down somewhere i just take my keys out of my pocket and let them dangle or rest on the seat and i dont have to worry about them falling or someone stealing them. One handed quick release is possible but it also isnt a big deal to me that its not the easiest. Also, they included the summit wallet for free with my purchase!
I love my trayvax gear. I had an armored summit as my first item and bought many of them for friends as gifts. I happen to win their giveaway so I know own many of the products in this video. Great gift ideas of you are not willing to spend the money on the more expensive items. Great products!!
Got a belt a couple months ago and I'm loving it. And since the total was over $20 I got a free summit wallet and decided to give it a try and I'm loving it as well. Back pocket wallets have always been cumbersome to me so I'm very happy I made the switch to a front pocket wallet. Shout out to Talon Sei for introducing me to this company I'm very pleased so far. And I do agree they could drop the prices some, but I got a brand new US made edc wallet and belt for like $25 so I can't really complain.
I got the summit for free during a their promotion when buying the original. you can buy the armor plate to turn it into the armored. also you can buy the comb you mentioned in place of the armor plate. While I love the original the summit has taken over.
With the cards being stacked together so tight, do you find that they wear and fade as a result of sliding against each other? I had to move to a slim wallet with individual pockets for that reason.
This review outclassed all the reviews I came across before it. Truly helped give me some guidance towards my future purchase. I appreciated hearing your input on these products. I watched this video at 1.75 speed ( I guess that's just a me thing)
I saw the thumbnail and was ready to write "traitor"...LOL! I should know better. I've sent my MQR to Talon and told him about the single handed operation but he loves that link. I've had that belt for 2 years and it holds my pew pew but I have a different build. Good call on the noise!
No one seems to ever show or talk about the ascent wallet which is a really great option if you still prefer back pocket carry or switching from a bifold to a minimalist wallet for the first time. I tried the summit and I think it’s great for a vacation wallet but I couldn’t get used to everything sliding around when I took out one card. So I returned it and got the ascent and I hate to say it but it was totally worth the money. Love the videos man, you’ve really helped me figure out my edc
I know you couldn't do them all but really feel the Axis should have been in there. I love it and if you like the summit you would love the Axis. Still a good job and definitely recommend Trayvax too.
I've tried quite a few minimalist wallets, so many are overly designed just for design sake. Now i swear by Exentri. Simple uncomplicated design, loads of storage, elegant and with perfect usability. The closest thing to a Real wallet you can get yet still crazy compact. Once you've had an Exentri you realise how all the technical looking wallets available ADD unnecessary complication to your EDC.
I really like the Contour wallet but at $200 Australian for the base model, it's way out of my range. How does carrying the Keydex compare to the Keybar and are their inserts eg. utility knife, compatible with the Keydex?
Do you have a good option or idea for kinda like a mini admin pouch to carry around? Like for SSN cards, voter ID cards, cert cards etc just the small paper cards that don’t fit in the edc wallets ?
I've been looking at the Trayvax wallets for a few weeks but haven't decided on which to get. Before your video I had somehow never noticed the Summit Notebook, so thanks for the video man. Curious if it'll ever be available in something other than Chestnut? That Steel Grey available in some of their other wallets looks great.
Being at home the last month after getting laid of and on quarantine plus watch your videos is a bad financial decision. I have been buying a lot of your recommendations. Great products and not regrets. Love you videos keep doing what you do
Don’t be daft mate! Buying shiny new toys gives a nice buzz, but it’s short lived and shouldn’t be a priority when you’ve been laid off in the midst of a global pandemic. I hope you can at least use the new gear to hunt and build shelter and you didn’t just buy a dapper new wallet!
A lot of comments about how expensive their products are. I wonder is we’re being heard? Don’t get me wrong. Quality product made in the US is going to cost some coin but there should be a happy medium. It’s hard to justify that much money for the average person. American made without taking out a second mortgage would be idea. Also, love the videos man. Stay safe.
Great video. I have been a huge fan of my Trayvax summit for about a year now. Quick question - what is that watch you're wearing? I want one lol and need to know where to find it!
I am a big Travax fan. I have the 2.0 wallet and the cinch belts in black and khaki. I would buy the link but i think its too long. If they shorten it up, it would be a winner. I have bought 4 2.0 wallets as gifts.
Just FYI for everyone you can enter a giveaway on their website running through the end of the year. I just won a couple days ago. $250 worth of gear most of what’s in the video.
Not a fan of my trayvax summit. Difficult to get cards out. Also, the band loosens and I constantly find myself having to tighten it. Worried I could lose a card.
I don't like the new cinch webbing. It's flimsy now and slips all the time. I'm switching to the Carbon Tactics CTI despite it starting at 80 bucks. All well I like titanium belt buckles.
A couple comments on the belt. It is stiff like that for concealed carrying. With that in mind, the stiffness you mention is not a drawback but a benefit. Also, who is watching you take your belt off in the bathroom? Are you taking your pants all the way off to use a urinal or do you bring people into the stall with you? Lol
IZULA ll 53 bucks from ESSE lifetime no questions asked warranty...Fixed blade place to be...That place trying to make little to much money at once......that little leather are nylon key hanger disconnect 50 bucks..... shit I would have to slap someone if they paid that or myself even that wallet...150 bucks shit!!! hell Is that name that big where someone pays that? Anyways thanks for the vid...I just make my own and tends to turn out way better than anything I can buy.And theres good options out there for 1/4 of the cost..
Tyler Not sure if you own one man. But I felt the same way before I bought a few things. And I have to say the quality is amazing compared to other companies.
Taylor

I'm not questioning their quality but just can't afford it myself.

I purchase a lot of trayvax products on eBay. Sometimes there's a good deal check it out.
Quality cost sir. A got the all leather accent wallet and a lanyard for $109.00 with free shipping…. Holla!
Another thing worth mentioning about the warranties, if your wallet wears out in some way and needs to be replaced, and they no longer carry it (like in my case, I had the original 1.0), they will credit you with the price of the wallet you bought and let you get whatever you want off their website. The wallet with the little notebook inside is a brilliant idea. Love the looks of it too.
I have the ascent and summit. Love both of them and the company has great customer support. I had a problem with my order and they replied and fixed it in under an hour!
I agree with you, I have about four of their wallets including the contour. And by far my favorite is the summit. Not sure why I just really love it
Good reviews. I have the contour wallet in brass and Mississippi mud, an all black cinch belt, and the nylon lanyard with the quick connect. Love trayvax's products although some I feel can be a tad cheaper but on the flipside they honor a 65 year replacement of anything breaks.

It this point I swear I have 10 bottle openers on me at all times and have never used one lol
Taylor Fenoglio drink more beer ?
Honestly same i use my fire pit or other bottles more than my bottle openers
🤣🤣🤣 try to drink responsibly my friend, those bottle openers come in handy
@@RUclipsAIbot Of course
how ironic that you have the same name🤦🏻♂️
The comb is also used for your hair it shows it in the videos on trayvax
Trayvax Ascent is my favorite!
I just got the trayvax link and i absolutely love it! I like it being long so i can tuck my keys into my back pocket so that they are hidden and do not jingle around. I have an original lanyard ( with out the carabiner ), I put a snap button on it.I love it, can't see my self using another key chains.

well presented - love my armored summit wallet. my favorite too - very functional, priced right too!
On the link and using it one handed: index finger through key ring and use thumb to press the quick release

I love Trayvax wallets. I hate the Cinch, however. If I'm not wearing some kind of undershirt, it digs into my waist when I have to bend over.
No one seems to ever show or talk about the ascent wallet which is a really great option if you still prefer back pocket carry or switching from a bifold to a minimalist wallet for the first time. I have the contour wallet and I love it. I gifted my brother the element, he carries it everyday.
I know you couldn't do them all but really feel the Axis should have been in there. I love it and if you like the summit you would love the Axis. Still a good job and definitely recommend Trayvax too.
Have yet to try anything from them. Dango Products so far have been awesome. Might/maybe consider trayvax in the future.
I've tried quite a few minimalist wallets, so many are overly designed just for design sake.

I won my wallet in the summit give away and I just love it
agreed I’m only 19 and I’ve went through like 4 wallets (isn’t aton) but still just couldn’t find a perfect edc wallet until TRAYVAX. Love them
That fixed is so freakin intriguing but i cannot justify the price. It would be perfect for less then 125usd.
Does the prybar from the keydex get in the way of smaller mailbox keys?
Do you have a good option or idea for kinda like a mini admin pouch to carry around? Like for SSN cards, voter ID cards, cert cards etc just the small paper cards that don’t fit in the edc wallets ?

I really like the 2.0, very functional and I know the cards won’t fall out if I drop it. It just isn’t all that stylish.
What color leather on the contour in the vid. Mississippi mud or tabaco brown?
Can you please tell me where you got your lanyard that is attached to You're contour wallet?😀😀😀
You didn’t mention my favorite Teayva wallet - The Axis. I tried the Ascent but didn’t like it but love the Axis
Being at home the last month after getting laid of and on quarantine plus watch your videos is a bad financial decision. I have been buying a lot of your recommendations. Great products and not regrets. Love you videos keep doing what you do

Peter Noble it was more of a joke. I was laid off but I’m good and working again. Good advice though
A lot of comments about how expensive their products are. I wonder is we’re being heard? Don’t get me wrong. Trayvax makes awesome stuff. Love my summit notebook with the space pen

Yes.

$200 for a small framed square of titanium and a bit of leather? Excuse me while i open an Etsy shop
Sometimes you pay for quality but here you’re paying for a name.
First Line Of Survival yes and he already said it had tool marks showing and the sheath was poor designed.
Amazing products! It is a pity that it is very complicated to obtain Trayvax products in Europe due to customs and related fees :(
Pretty expensive stuff
Retention on the knife faces the wrong way. Rub against/snag it and it comes open...or you cut it off. Finally, a knife I don’t want.
i think putting bottle openers on everything is tacky..
If u can't open a bottle on a table or edge shouldn't be drinking!
good thing noones making you buy this eh?
What watch are you wearing in this video
Not a fan of my trayvax summit. Difficult to get cards out. Also, the band loosens and I constantly find myself having to tighten it. Worried I could lose a card.
I get that things are high end but damn that knife is over priced.
Can you scout carry it for right hand if you order it for left hand?
Yeah. I think there’s an explanation of the sheath on their site.

what the Hell Martin that's a TACTICAL BELT for Pouches and Knife Sheaf and Gun Holster
Yes, I'm aware. I have others that are softer and work just as well.
ok :=) i have a couple of Tactical belts i made a shoulder Harness for them out of black Brasses
I Really appreciate theses videos man 🙌 I’ve been looking at James brand knives and was wondering which one you’d say is decent to grab? If any?
Great looking knife, far too expensive. SHOULD be a neck knife with a simple sheath to help with the pricing.

Nice 👍
Crkt Terzuola with a custom holster beats this $170 knife.
Ok but who undoes their belt to pee..? You said you get looks in the bathroom... why don’t you just use the fly? 😂 but either way nice vid 👌🏻
Gotta feel that breeze. 😂

I don't like the new cinch webbing. It's flimsy now and slips all the time. I'm switching to the Carbon Tactics CTI despite it starting at 80 bucks. All well I like titanium belt buckles.

The space pen in the link is $32 because it says Trayvax. That is literally double the price for the same pen that doesn’t have the logo. What a joke
Fernando Vega well they probably had to buy the pens from fisher and then need to “justify” costs of buying it with a markup.
Send something my way lol I'm literally like everything's dope but my money's on ghost status

Anybody else starting to see these as men's fashion? 😆
I stick the cards/money in a rubber band or duck tape wallet. Free. 50 bucks for a strap? Dang.
i'm going to sell a rubber band and call it a minimal wallet
Yeah, no. I'm not spending this much money.
super cool gear. GROTESQUELY overpriced. just wait til the chinese start making quality clones, their prices will come down dramatically

It’s a gun belt duh! It’s supposed to be stiff
As I’ve said in many other comments, I understand that. But it jabs me in the sides whereas the Kore Essentials does not.
How does someone ALREADY dislike it?
