I'm completely with you on the bottle opener! I always have one on me either because its built into my EDC folding knife or there is one on my backpack. I usually walk over to my kitchen drawer and grab the most functional one in the rare occasion that I am drinking from a bottle that isn't a twist off..

Excellent vid, excellent wallet. Wife got me the Ascent for my birthday. Have twelve cards in it. Six on each side. Stuffed an extra 7th card on each side, misted the wallet with water, let it sit overnight. Pulled the extra card from each side, perfect. 👍
I carried Trayvax Original 2.0 wallet for about a year and loved it. I just now ordered their Summit notebook wallet which has a small waterproof notepad and pen built into it.
I have 2 Accent. One for my every day use. My licensees, credit cards, Id's. 14 cards on there. Then I have another one for the cards that I need but just if I go to some special places. I love those wallets. Also their belts.
Using contour for the last 2 years happy with titanum finish and mississippi mud leather. Love the design and everything. Top visible card gets kinda dirty from the frame of wallet, but I clean with IPA time to time. I use ball chain lanyard to reach my wallet, its very short but creates 3 inches more reach to it. Kinda use my finger to fish it, eyelet always upwards obviously..
Been carrying an Element since shortly after they came out with them, I’ve shopped for others every year or so since then and never felt the need to buy. Excellent wallets! If you are going to continue back pocket carry (I still do) I’d go for thinner models!

The first time I was taken to a Rods Western Palace as a kid and entered the saddle area it was like some kind of pleasure overload lol.......🍻 oh and a ice cold Miller Lite doesn’t need a bottle opener 😁 damn your videos are relaxing brother.
I’ve got the Contour and it’s great! I’m with you when it comes to lanyards...that beard comb you showed in the beginning works out great in my Contour so I can’t use the ‘window’ to push up the cards but it helps to keep the cards from being scratched in my pocket.....as always, great video brother!!

I've been looking at several videos on new wallets i was looking at thick slab leather wallets cuz once they beak in and form to your body it's more comfortable I've been coming across these minimal wallets all saying the same thing doesn't print small but I think it's a pain to manipulate the contents in and out I think a larger thick slab leather bi fold gives you easy and quick access to all your items. If you don't want a fat wallet just simply put basics necessary carry needs. There's no law saying that you have to fill it up because of the size a think slab hard leather wallet can be just as thin as a minimalist small wallet and much easier to use and access. And if you are worried about printing. Take your man card out of the wallet and toss it away then it will make it one card slimmer slimmer
Great video, me too I was on the George Costanza band wagon and when I saw the Fantom wallet I jumped on it and never returned to that chunky brick. Mate I use a bottle opener every weekend without fail as I drink craft beer and we all know how craft beer companies NEVER bottle their brew in twist top that is just a huge no no in their eyes so yeah love bottle openers particularly when not having one close by when visiting a mates for a few lagers. Grabbing a trayvax or two thanks to your review.
The main reason I bought the contour was for the bottle opener 😂. I love the look of it as well, but to many times I’ve been left in need of a bottle opener and not had one. Tho technically I can use my tin of chew, but I’m not a fan of it. Maybe it’s a Wisconsin thing.
yeah they look nice and probably amazing, but cant spend that kind of money on a wallet. i'll just slum it with the $10 minimalist wallets on amazon. lol
No you are not weird. I also love the smell of leather. My wife gave me a bottle of leather scented car spray for Christmas. I have leather seats in my truck. I detail my cab about every 6 weeks. I also smoke so my truck really smells like cigarette smoke. I use the leather spray on the carpet behind my seat. So for about 2 weeks my truck smells like fresh leather. I’m about empty. I hope she’s been listening to my hints and buys me another bottle of it.
I have 2 Trayvax wallets. I will NEVER go back to a regular wallet. I have the original and the original 2.0. They are both Awesome. They take care of their customers really well also.

I like my trayvax axis, had for an year still holds up great. But they take a while to come in the mail, remember I waited an entire month for my axis wallet in the mail. Then I ordered the cinch lanyard waited two months still didn’t come in the mail. Cool thing about that order I called it went to voicemail, in the voice mail I gave em my order number and told them the situation and I didn’t want it anymore, told em I wanted a refund. The next day got an email saying my refund is getting processed, then I saw a full refund minus the tax in my bank statement. Great company high quality, but not a fan of how long things take to come in the mail.
Love my Contour, it’s legit. Switched to a Dango D01 for a bit. Went back to the Trayvax, it’s just does it for a great overall minimalist wallet. Great review.
Leather and brass mellow with age and use until you can look at it and trace its history with you by the scars and scratches. Like the way an old Zippo is more than just a means of lighting a cigar, it is also a connection to good and maybe not so good times. Glad you have an attachment to your stuff, looks like quality gear!

I was going to get the Armored Summit but then I saw the Spine wallet and decided to try that first. It's basically only one sided so it weighs about 1/3 what the Summit weighs and is much thinner. The Spine is as minimal as minimal can get except just a rubber band. The Summit is nice though if you want more protection for your stuff.

Side note. My trayvax ascent wallet always gets stopped at airport security. Not sure what it looks like on screen but they always pull it out, look at it, tug at the metal and then put it back. Just a heads up for those that get it, may happen to you! Great wallet none the less though.
LOVE my trayvax ascent (mississippi mud color). every so often i'll pick it up just to smell it, lol. it holds all i need it to hold, and nothing i don't. i also got a leather case for my iphone and airpods pro.
First time I’ve heard of the brand, but nice presentation of the these 3 in the series. Not really digging the open concept or the metal portion. I prefer the traditional, but ultra thin style. Your not alone on the leather look, feel, smell. So I’ll check their other styles. Really enjoy your videos. Like the subject matter, the way you talk, the look of the video is spot on comforting. I envision my man cave similar to yours. Keep up the great work.
