hey man! no one els realy seems to be thanking you for this video so here i am, im 21 and have a decent grasp of my mental being but im always interested in learning more, especially from someone such as urself, we need all the good men we can get. even as a gen Z'er i can see the issues with my generation and the following one (gen alpha) nothing and i mean nothing makes me more happy than seeing a guy teach his son/sons what it means to be a good proper guy. having good morals, ethics, and so many more things is somthing that many dads neglect to teach there kids nowadays. people expect there kids to grow up rough and tough as they did back in there day but kids nowadays even myself to an extent have and are being "softened up"........its sad that guys are made to feel bad for having the desire to be self made and independent. they (and they applies to so many people) want us to be soft and manipulatable
Between 16 and 25 my life was sex, drugs and rock and roll. I dam near ended up in the 27 club just without the fame or money, took another 3 years after that to really get it together properly. I've just turned 40 and my debt is nearly paid off, about £4k left to go. But now my life looks good. If your in your 20's and watching/reading this, It is good advice take it.

Take care of yourself physically as well. Wear your PPE. Ear plugs, safety glasses, knee pads, respirator, etc. just because you can pick that thing up, doesn't mean it's good for your back in 10 years.

24 vs 21 is crazy too. I can’t drink as much as I used to. I read much more than I used to. I work out harder. My libido is crazier at 24 than it was at 14 which is wild but I have a brain to finally channel it. Life is strange .
Puberty usually ends at the age of 25 and with it the full development of the brain.
That's why a lot of young people finally get their lifes together in the end of their 20s because they finally unlocked their full potential.
Being in puberty is like a massive disadvantage in probably the most important time of your life when you have to make the most important life decisions. (Education, Job, relationsship, ...)

We are all closing in on death and on looking back in the last seconds of life at everything we didn't do that we knew we were capable of but decided to tell our higher self to fuck off and wait. It always seems like there is more time when you are younger. DONT listen to that voice EVER. Get to work NOW on what you know you want to do "one day". Build discipline, wisdom, experience, hands on skills and especially understanding how to effectively navigate socially and build contacts with people who can help you advance in your growth. Find a mentor of possible. An older person who is a fixture in your community. Business owner, property owner, farmer, construction company owner, local vetranarian.... These men are worth more than gold to be friends with. And if the right sort will be the most important friendships to your quality of life than anyone from middle school that was cool.
Respect. Respect everything and everyone. And always look for a good quality in even the worst person or situation. Nothing is all bad or useless. Learn when you fall and never make the same mistake twice. Tolerate no b.s. and stand up for yourself and those around you. Speak your mind! But also become man enough to know those times when the benefit is saying nothing at all.

I made ALL those mistakes in my 20's, black out drunk multiple times a week, women, eating like a pig, no sleep, drugs, no financial planning - I was a semi professional sportsman with a six pack, a lucrative professional career ahead of me, and thought I was invincible - then WHAM, tore every ligament in my knee and sports career was over.. I'm 56 now and look back and know I made every bad decision I could, over and over. Great advice brother. I'm now a Dad and Husband and spend every day making the most of every minute, despite my old body aching all day long lol...

I always remember that anyone is 1 accident away from being crippled/disabled.
Currently 22yr old and this is all true. The urge of doing everything you mentioned is a constant battle. I think one point you didn’t mention was the FRIENDS you have around you. Makes the entire difference in my opinion.

Im 24, covid days were my early 20s, myself and my friends all went through the same thing. Stopped thinking about the future and just started enjoying the time we could at the present. Love it brother! I married a crazy one at 21 while in the Marine Corps and it lasted a whopping 5 months and was divorced in a year and a half. Married the right woman the second time and have three grown kids and a granddaughter at 53!

I just turned 36, and I’ve just started to get my life together as of a few years ago.
My 20’s consisted of weed, lots of drinking, smoking a pack of cigs a day, poor money management, not socializing, and having limited nutritional knowledge.
Fast forward to now, I bought a house 2 years ago, have a nice car, have 3 kids, beautiful fiancé, 10k in the bank, no more weed, no more cigarettes, eat clean most of the time. I still do drink. But having 3 kids and working as a head chef of a restaurant, I need something to wind down at the end of the day sometimes.
Moral of the story is that it’s never too late to get your shit together.

If you’re married in your 20’s, you’ll probably have at least one opportunity to cheat. Don’t do it! Your partner is growing like you are and will be better when they get older like you will be too. Hold off on ruining your life early, you’ll get over those feelings for someone else and you’ll be happier in the long run if you remember why you married in the first place
Real, dont assume the woman will take it lightly and forgive you, even if she does it will always haunt the relationship. if you think shes a keeper, dont try to sneak some extra action, that short satisfaction will ruin years of companionship. Im mot even married but when the day comes, i wont make that mistake
Awesome recommendations Jeremy! I'm in my early 60s and heartily agree with you. One additional thing I would recommend is to intentionally try to STAY IN TOUCH with friends and MAKE NEW FRIENDS! It's difficult, but believe me it's worth it in the end. You don't want to be an old geezer that nobody wants to talk to. Be a friend to have a friend!!!

I recently turned 35. My two biggest regrets: wasting time on women with high partner counts and two: not committing to being married at an early age when I found what would have been a great wife. Society really reinforces this nonsense of: find love in a heuer house and don't get married early (or at all!). All part of the anti-family agenda out there. Great video, hope we can spread the knowledge and the wisdom so the future generations have it better.

Thank you, dear Jeremy! I'm gonna turn 18 in a couple days and I spent the last year trying to improve myself. I always avoided alcohol before (never drank), went to the gym and was caring about my diet, but recently started trying to steer my life in the right direction. So it was mainly about social exposure and knowledge gathering. The tips like these really help to get a rough understanding of what I should do and what things must be erased. Again, I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge with every young man out here!

Your teen and 20s are the time to build a solid base for your future, meaning education etc. Your 30s are the time where you should create a situation where you say "life is good the way it is; now it can stay like that", like finding a wife, having kids, building a house, etc.

I just turned 57 and moved to Florida last Fall (hahahah… Florida doesn’t have a Fall) for a new job after retiring from the military. I co-sign this and if I had a son I would offer the same advice and make him watch this video once a week because we all know young men don’t listen their dads. I have this conversation a couple times a week with the young guys I supervise/work with. I have also seen many guys that struggled making the transition from having free time and all of the hot new toys they couldn’t afford , but had anyway ,to being married and responsible for the well-being of a wife and children crash and burn. I’m glad I had kids young and never really went through the crazy selfish party years.
I’m so glad I avoided all those negatives and ignored my friends who thought this was a good idea. 28 years old. Now I’m happily married to a great woman and making 700k+ and growing fast . It’s very true good decisions over time make a difference. I’m not special just tried at the right things and ignored all the stupid things. Keep it up guys 👊🏼

I’m 37 and I’ve literally never been outta shape in my life. 5 times a week workout cause I HAVE to or else I get bad depression. My body has never had a problem. Been lifting and doing cardio since I was 18.

For sure. For me personally it felt like a waste of time to party. I have actual anxiety when I’m not being reasonably productive. I’m actually decently extroverted but I still get that type of anxiety just telling me to be doing something.

Just a few weeks ago my siblings hosted a college grad party and I didn’t even go, it was at our parents house (we all graduated, I failed and trade full time now. Failed because I was trading full time in college too). I would never wanna party at my parents home because I would be thinking about the process to purchase my own place.
This is really good advice and I’m fortunate to have a close friend over Xbox to reinforces these good habits
Edit: I like the last one, I went to Boston when I was 20, I live in the south so this was a big trip for me and it was awesome! Highly recommend traveling when you can just randomly fuck off for a weekend

I had way too much money to my disposal when I was in my 20s, now that I’m mid 30s I’m so happy I learnt all these life lessons early on in life.
