Thank you for your review. I just bought a 2025 HR-V EX-L after having a CR-V for 15 yrs. My CR-V is dated but looks classic now and had my family fighting over who would get it. Had very few issues with it over 15 yrs. I had all service work done at dealership. Never had AC issues even last summer with a month of 105 degree days. I am now 15 yrs older and tested many makes of sub-compact suv's only to find getting in and out of some to be difficult. Also tested some hybrids but those just don't fit my lifestyle, I'm retired and when I'm at my little lake retreat it's ATV's and golf carts.. So the HR-V EX-L is a good fit for me. It has plenty of technology in a not hysterical price range. I hope this HR-V EX-L is as good as my CR-V has been. It's still running at 253,000 miles.
Earlier CRV (at least 2021 1.5L) seats are uncomfortable and cabin noise is loud and fatiguing over time. 2021 CRV HVAC system had lots of issues which is very expensive when warranty runs out. Synthetic oil changes (SYN. OIL not a bad thing) are required due to oil delusion which is gasoline in the oil, and oil delusion is common in modern turbo charged engines, but Honda is the worst. Class action lawsuit was filled over oil delusion problem. Maybe 2024 models addressed certain issues. There are far better cars than Honda, please do your homework before purchasing. My wife's 2021 CRV is gone after three years and 31K miles due to issues.

The CR-V is a bit quieter, but both are relatively refined for the class
