    Sweet, watching this just solidified that I’ll be giving some of my money to Amazon/VDP on Friday for a kit, I watched other videos of people doing this, and I left wondering what I just watched more times than not. Hell, I watched your 1.75” lift install video when I first got my jeep a few months ago. The day I got the lift in hand, I had all four installed in just over 3 hours (actually sent a snap to y’all), all thanks to the video. Anyways, y’all keep up the great videos, I enjoy watching em all…hell, even the ones for projects I’m not planning on doing/doing yet, haha. And the fact that all the videos are broken down “Barney Style”, it makes it super easy to comprehend and put into action for me. Hope y’all had a good Veterans Day up there. Semper Fi

      Sorry for the late response! Hope the VDP kit worked out well for you. We're very happy with ours. The biggest time suck for us on any project is filming it, as you can imagine, but 3 hours is still pretty good timing for the spacer lift! Thanks so much for the comment. We'll keep the videos coming! Hopefully replacing an axle shaft this weekend, but we still have a full list of upcoming videos to work on. Since we rely on natural light, it's hard to get much done before it gets dark right now. We really can't wait for summer to swing back around. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks, guys! Obviously not our end-goal. The Poison Spyder saved our lives when we rolled out last jeep... We wheel pretty hard! This was a quick and fun how-to as a starter project. Already can't wait to upgrade before this one gets damaged, too! Lol

    My daughter just dented her front bumper in the same spot, these will make a nice, easy, and inexpensive fix!

    this was a great video tutorial, I did this mod yesterday and it doesn't look half bad. I'm thinking of spaying 3M adhesive where the edges meet and then duralining it so it has a smoother flow to it.

      Ricardo Massa awesome! Thanks, Ricardo! My favorite part about this build is that we didn't jump straight into huge mods. We're taking it slowly and going through all of the phases, like most Jeepers would! Who knows... maybe you'll tackle a lift kit after that? 😉

      Absolutely got to start somewhere little by little. The most important thing is that it's fun and we enjoy it! Life's too short work hard but make sure you live hard!! Ttys :)

    awesome videos! I have watched every one of them. I like how yall go into detail with the things that need to be explained. not just jump over the hard stuff and get right to the result.

    • @CRAWLTV
      @CRAWLTV  8 лет назад

      Grace has been excellent at slowing me down to make sure that those details are covered. Our goal is to help grow the Jeep community one new owner at a time by showing people how easy it can be to do it yourself! The full Synergy lift that we just did in our driveway though... Phew! You may need a friend or two to take that on. Let us know if you want a sticker and thanks for watching!

    Good job. That mod didn't look half bad when on a budget.

    • @CRAWLTV
      @CRAWLTV  8 лет назад +1

      Thanks, Mike! $61 on Amazon isn't breaking the banks and it looks much better. That's exactly the audience that we were targeting. 99% of our budget went to the 4.5" Synergy lift and front and rear Tom Woods driveshafts and an AFE exhaust relocation kit. There's still plenty of money to waste on bumpers when we get to that point 😂

      +CRAWL TV that's the best thing about y'all jeep customization on the cheap, because wife likes her manicure money.

    Was the 3 inch cut just personal choice or any problems with going out to 4 - 6 inches? Thanks, looks great!

  • @MotoGQ
    @MotoGQ 4 года назад +1

    Would it be a good idea to spray paint the cut metal ends to prevent rust before installing the bumper ends?

    Did you having rubbing from the front tires when turning before this mod? What size tire are you running?
