Hi! We are Heather, Bradey, Alexa and Chloe.
We are raising our kids to face their fears, to step outside of their comfort zones and to try new things. Family travel is the best way we know how to do this.
We want to inspire others to travel with an open mind and to see that it is completely possible to travel and fly with kids! Traveling is one of the best things we have ever done to strengthen our family, and to open up our minds about how big this world is. We have recently converted our own DIY camper van from a Mercedes sprinter and are now traveling and learning what van life is all about!
    Thanks for following along :)

    I love you're family...
And by the way you're not terrible parents, you're amazing ones, you might be taking some material stuff from your daughters but instead of that you're going to give them an extraordinary experience that not anyone can have.
I wish that I can do the same... Well maybe one day...

This is the right attitude. I subscribed to your channel couple days ago and watched some of your videos already. They are great by the way. This video is a wonderful way of explaining the reasons behind and you are so right with them all. I see (and I believe that I can feel) your genuine desire to explore other cultures while travelling the world. I have the same desires and have done myself not a bad amount of travelling. What you are giving to those two little and wonderful girls of yours is priceless. You are teaching them to be humane and humble and that deserves many respect. I am in for good and I will go on watching your story from the beginning without missing any previous video of yours. I am sure you will deserve a like and some commenting on most of them, if not all. Take care and enjoy each second of your travels.

New to the channel, and I’m wondering more about not so much the emotional aspect of moving out of the country, but specifics like how were you able to retire in your 30’s or 40’s? Why did you choose Italy over other countries? And especially the finances behind it. I’m assuming you’re millionaire’s in order to retire so young? Life is very expensive nowadays, so you don’t have to have things in order to struggle nowadays. Thank you for your channel. God bless.

I'm so excited for your family. We are planning a similar journey of "slow traveling" the world. We did a test run in 2018/2019 with our family of 3 starting with a trip to Da Nang, Vietnam. We had similar emotions weighing between freedom vs security but we're choosing the former. Family members tried guilting us with questions on what kind of life we were giving our daughter but in the end, we questioned what kind of life we were preparing her for with her current upbringing. We wanted her to know there are options besides growing up with traditional schooling to go off to college with student loans so she could get a 50/60 hour a week job to pay off debts. I think roadschooling her and the time we spent together as a family with our trip to Vietnam was priceless and can't wait until we can sell the last of our things and head off. Best wishes to you all and happy travels!

It’s scary not to have a stable means of finance but I really think that traveling open up the humanity within each person. You two are courageous. And I think opening the world for your kids will give them much experience that half of their age will never get in their lifetime. Every person’s dream is to travel and you’re living it. You’re family is inspiring. Keep up.

You guys are providing your girls with much more that other US kids. I took my son on a cruise, and and we have traveled in a van, just a regular minivans. It was so much fun and he’s caught my travel bug. I’ve been to Germany, by the way I drank the hot win, but they said it had fruit and other white liquors in it. I’ve been to a lot of the islands. I took my son with me and a few friends on a cruise. He also loved the kids club. I love to cruise. I’ve gone on 5 cruises. I get what you’re saying. I think we get stuck in the life that everyone thinks they need. I like to think outside the box. I’m so glad you did this. I know it’s emotional, and thanks for not hugging your wife when she was crying. I don’t know about her, but even though it’s a nice thing to do, I would cry more because your showing simpathy. I could handle a hug when my mom died. It just breaks me up. You are good parents, I can tell from watching you with your kids. Keep doing you, and ignore any negative haters. I found you, like I said in another message, while watching the. Newbies, and I’m so glad I found you. I have a love for travel and seeing you guys do that for time inspires me. Thank you, thank you.

Many of us made some decision which made us lose or gained something. I guess not losing sight at what is important like happiness, good values and learning to have less and be easily satisfied at what you have is the main goal in life. If you get more in the process then great.

Although it will be scary, tough and not-fun at times, this decision has altered your kids life for the better. Good luck!

You took the toys, the van they loved, the "security" of a house and gave them a much broader horizon, expended their dreams and taught them to be free and kind.

Best parents I've encountered in 54 years. I've raised 4 kids alone. The most important thing u can teach them aside from independence... is that greed is the root of all evil. Teaching them the importance of the irreplaceable things in life is priceless. My kids learned it simply through poverty. By being poor we learned the difference between irreplaceable, replaceable, and how true luxury is found in our relationships. Kudos to your family! Life is too short for wasting it on things that really just does not matter. The only thing that matters is happiness which is something money or security cannot provide.

Hi, Voyagers! I am trying to watch all of your videos, but am having a hard time putting them in order. I was having a panic attack, and was in the car trying to go to my daughter's for the memorial day weekend. When I sat down in the car, it started. I kept getting worse, so finally, I said, Bruce. Help me inside, please.

That would be amazing. Siargao especially is a place that we would consider paradise to setup as our home base. Can’t wait to get back after things open up!
