Drove my F150 platinum fm pque to baguio via slex-edsa-slex-sctex-tplex-marcos hiway with arnd 200kilos of load. Cruise control set at 120kph in expressways and moderate traff on edsa. On board trip monitor indicates 11.2ltrs/100kms or abt 8.92 kms/liter. Not a gas guzzler at all. Effortless and fun to drive specially for me who is in his 70s. Will be using this more than my ranger raptor, mas magaan sa katawan hehehe. Will recommend it to friends though there could be some supply issues.
Here in Subic, I've seen people drive a Ford F-150 and an F-150 raptor since 2018. Man those guys imported it not knowing it will be available here in PH 2 yrs after. The raptor is much cooler and more appealing than the normal F-150. They are totally big and bad-ass in person :D
To be honest, since there is no excise tax on pick-up trucks, not that big of a loss to them.

20 years ago, the first car I ever fallen in love with was the Ford F-150. Hope cigarettes were raffling a brand new Ford F-150 and I used to collect empty cigarette packets to fill up to put in the raffle box. I don’t think I won but the Ford F-150 has a special place in my heart in the Philippines. Now please bring the V8!

I reside in Riyadh now and F-150 is really an eye-catcher especially the loud F-150 Raptor. Happy it is again available in the Philippines. There is a diesel engine but only available in "special" dealers in MM.
I am a ford performance vehicle owner... I hope Forp Phils will bring in the Raptor F150. Will wait for it. Been saving money for tha past years. I know there's available in grey market but nothing beats the local unit in terms of service. But anyway, kudos to Ford Philippines for bringing in the F150 new model.
Now i'm waiting for the Original Raptor, The Original.

@@luckycharm8888 Looks like built in the USA, like the Mustang offered in the Philippines. No excise tax in the Philippines though; it's a pickup truck, which is why the price is close to what you would pay in the USA, but the Mustang is a little overpriced in the Philippines (for the same price you could get a GT500 Shelby version in the USA).

Depends on the trim. Here in canada, theres XL, XLT, LARIAT, PLATINUM, LIMITED
Yeah like sport or off-road or even getting a sunroof. Here we get a 4x2 or a 4x4. Still those are just upgrade options

In western countries like in Canada, they use it mostly for farm use. They use with purpose.

I'm sorry to say po pero f150 owner po ako dto sa canada pero I'm not using it on a farm..I'm using it as my personal truck..and even Canadians they've been using it for their personal used..meron din po farmers..😊😊😊and hindi naman po mostly sa farm po sya madami din po sa mga construction site..oil and gas field..police mobiles etc po..

I forgot to mention, not just farms pala but other industries where these trucks are mostly used for their purpose... I'm a worker din here in Canada and we drive these big a$$ trucks hauling heavy loads...still! nothing wrong with using it for the sake of status, or personal use, I mean it's your money po you can do whatever you want. :)

Just did a side-by-side comparo at Autodeal's and I really felt bad for Dodge. This is one huge uppercut on Dodge's truck line by Ford. Feature-wise, the F150 trumps the Ram 1500. Only edge the Ram has is the extra 20hp. But for a 500k difference? I'll choose the F150 anytime. I have a hunch a gas-powered Raptor is on the works. So I'll wait on ya Ford!

Why is there no availability in Philippines
Not even compared to Yukon Denali 5 years ago. Your F150 doesn’t have remote start with a/c on before even enter your Denali. When at 3 hear only 4 cylinder is working for fuel economy but when at high speed all the cylinder is pumping up the power.

Please bring in the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor rather than the 2020 Ford F-150 because Filipino Buying Republic will surely prefer to buy the F-150 Raptor variant over the standard F-150 variant and the success of Ranger Raptor should be your basis of their choices nationwide and so please reconsider that reality of buyers' preferences because it may overcome the over-all sales of Ranger Raptor once it will arrive in Philippine shore!

Two things. Why no POWERSTROKE? Why no F150 Raptor version?
The PowerStroke V6 might not sell due to gas mileage, and due to high gasoline costs, they chose the 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6, which is actually an option for the Platinum and Lariat models in the US. That's because the Platinum came with a standard 5.0 liter Ti-VCT V8 FFV, while the Lariat has various standard engines, depending on the bed size and door model.
The PowerStroke is a Diesel (which uses less fuel). But those who buy this truck aren't too much concerned with fuel economy anyways.
It does bother me tho, that Filipino's don't fully grasp the enjoyment of driving. I know as soon as I get one, instead of people telling me nice truck, they'll nag me about "too much gas" "too impractical", "what you need that for?" I actually know it's because they can't have anything more than a kawawa Vios. Screw em', right?

Yeah. That's why I love gas guzzling large cars than hybrid ones. Blame the oil crisis in 1973, which made us drive small cars with small engines than big, spacious ones with big block V8s.
If I could ever buy a car, I'd prefer a large SUV (Suburban, of course), a vintage Cadillac, an ex-cop car like the 1994 Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 police package with the LT1 engine or a Crown Victoria, a full-size pickup truck like the F150 and the Ram 1500, or a modern Dodge Charger/Challenger than a Tesla, a Mirage, a Smart, or a Prius. No matter how high the gas prices are, I just wanted to enjoy burnouts and doing donuts, especially in a Charger or Challenger.
@@marigracericana4021 And it's kinda sad GM never offered the LS engine (except in the Corvette) in the Philippines although the Hellcat (Dodge) and Coyote (Ford) are offered now. And with new transmissions and Direct Injection, the new engines don't use as much fuel. But with those engines it's not about miles per gallon, it's about SMILES per gallon.
And yes it's my dream as well to do burnouts in BGC and Makati just to show off to foreigners.

Another thing I could do with a Challenger or Charger is to drift, but I don't think these cars are able to drift, since some of them are AWD. If I could drift once, I would love to drift at the Columbus Circle in NYC.

@@EugeneIvan Nah, i think toyota might consider bringing in the full size Tundra not the tacoma because if they release the tacoma here it might ruin the sale of the hilux since the toyota Tacoma and the Hilux are both mid size pick up trucks. But i do love the Tacoma though! :)

Kung Volume siguro hindi pa rin nyan matatapatan ang Hilux at Ranger. Malakas sa Gas yan at yung space alanganin dito sa Pinas. Baka mahirapan kang isingit yan sa mga Public Parking. Malamang mga Off Roaders ang majority sa kukuha nyan. Baka at siguro lang po.

I'm going Ford now because Toyota and GM don't have the balls to bring something like this to the Philippines. Where is the Tundra? Where is the Silverado? Ford went balls out and brought the F150 despite having no Diesel available (hint to Ford, this is a Diesel country). Awesome move Ford!
