The first keep was bad but the tilting "target player sacrefices an attacking creature"-play made it all forgiven and forgotten :) Love the salt from the opponents tears there, well played!
if his deck was better he'd be more likely to mull, when your deck is only 'OK' its harder to accept disadvantage

boggles the mind that your Round 3 Opp can have 2 Mana Leak in hand but not counter any of your huge fliers
It feels like a core set because it mostly is one. It shares a bunch of cards with M15

was there any reason not to take fireball in the game where you almost milled yourself? Wouldn't fireball to the face just kill them if they didn't top deck counters?
Was thinking the exact same thing.... It's just strictly better than heat ray....
Also could have cast survival cache for prowess triggers, and wouldn't have drawn because he had less life.
In match three why did you mnemonic wall the heat ray to kill their flier instead of fireball to just kill them? You had the mana. Either would force a counter if they have it. Fireball would win if iy resolves, though. Mana Leak a concern after seeing three in their graveyard?

I've played 2 iconic masters drafts, went 3-0 both times, went Blue Red tempo both time
Sweet deck I do tend to disagree about the UB mill deck. It's been one of the best decks in the format as a turn 2 Glimpse is one of the best rares in the format. Speaking of that match 3 opponent deck was nuts. Mana Drain, Cryptic, 3 leaks jeez what an insane match that was some of the craziest games I've seen so far. God I love Iconic Masters draft.
You can't really judge an archetype based on a rare. An archetype needs to work well without relying on pulling rares. Sure, a glimpse or two would pulled in a draft makes a sweet draft deck, but I don't know if the archetype has enough support outside of rares.
Matt Murphy well yeah obviously you can't draft with rares in mind but the UB mill deck is great beyond that was just using it as an example. The deck just beats up on anyone trying to control the game with spells. It's definitely supported. Grisly Spectacle is common, shriekgeist, scour, windfall is good mind crank, balustrade spy, among others. The payoffs are fewer but great in Phantasm, Wight, and a few others I can't think of but when you combine them with UB's core control shell it's just so difficult for any controlling decks, especially those with few win conditions, to actually win against it and it still has all of the good match ups control has. The support isn't insane but giving an already good control shell efficient ways to win the game beyond resolving big win conditions makes it one of the best decks in the format.
Why you didn't block knight with frost lynx and then resto that tapping his tapper in g2 rather than trying to ambush, open your guys up to tricks and leave him with an active tapper in m1g3 baffles me.
did you ever consider going green white when you saw the knight of the relequary.. seems like it would have been a strong deck though pack 2 into pack 3.
