Tough break for Wiseman. He has a ton of potential, but lacks the play time from that NCAA fiasco and various injuries this season. Big setback, but I still think he'll be a big star down the road.
hopefully there will be a summer league this time around that's conveniently timed for him....

He was showin potential before, but he was takin way too many jump shots and threes. He started to drive more and get better looks from the 3 now...Unfortunate😢

I tore my meniscus (playing basketball of course) in 2016, and it was a white-red tear but more on the white side. Initially my doctor said I'd need a transplant, but I lucked out, and after rehab and about a seven month journey I was able to pretty much recover all of my health/performance, but it was looking pretty bad for awhile. I hope Weisman has a quick recovery and comes back stronger, bright future ahead for the young big man. Can't wait to see everyone on the warriors healthy again.
How did you tear it, and what was your symptoms, I believe I've torn mine , 😢

I tore my meniscus running track. I got a meniscectomy but ended up with nerve damage and needed 2 nerve surgeries to repair 5 nerves from mistakes from surgery.

You should make a video on some cycling fractures. Some recent ones are Anemiek van vleuten broken forearm in the 2020 giro rosa and was able to finish the stage and get a silver medal in the world championship road race to weeks after. Or Fabio's Jackobsen crash in the final sprint in the first stage of the 2020 tour of poland where he went face first into the barrier after he was pushed and lost al his teeth broke most bones of his face. His first race back from injury was today. Lastly you could do a video on Remco evenepoel crash on the 2020 il lombardia where hi missed a corner and dropped over a 6 meter ravene and fractured his pelvis and had a collapsed lung.

kelly oubre jr. borked his wrist twice this season while dunking in practice! (one time from actually dunking, one time from breaking his fall after dunking.)
Thats why Wiggins doesnt dunk that often even though he has looads of athleticism. He said it multiple times its to prolong his career

Honestly, if you tore your meniscus and nothing else you'll be fine. I had a tear around Christmas and had surgery in January. I'm already doing fairly intense sport
But I was actually lucky with the tear. It folded over, requiring surgery, but it was a small tear

Question for doc. Given morphology and location of tear that is on negative side of diagnosis - would James still be ready for summer league in August? That is like four months or so given modified nba schedule this year.
I’ve had knee pain for over a year. I found out that a have a torn meniscus 2 month ago. Back then, a doctor recommended to recover without surgery, which is what I did. Now two month passed and he advices to come back to sport and told me I have no fluid in my knee after checking it. I feel a bit of pain in my knee now when I’m extending the knee. Do you think It healed? And if not what would you advice me to do? I’m 16.

I got a tear in the white zone paintball if at age 19, until they removed the piece I couldn’t straighten my knee fully. Pretty much hasn’t stopped me doing what ever I want since, so, no lasting issue as long as I keep my leg muscles strong.

I hope young players are taught on the bio-mechanics of knee injuries, and how placing your weight on/off the heel places the knee in an ultra vulnerable position.

Wiseman was under utilize, he showed great potential but he has very little load/play time, he wasn't a rebounding monster or defensive presence. Yet suffered a season ending injury

I went to an orthopedic for knee pain a few weeks ago & he thinks I might have a torn MCL. So he recommended an MRI, however my insurance denied my request.... Go figure? What now?
