True That 💯👍 !! Joe Lewis was jealous of Bruce's fame & success. Like a typical euro-american man who believes, " What is mine, is mine, what is yours is also mine!! Lewis always Bruce owned something.
As I’ve said before, Jealousy Jealousy and lots more Jealousy, they just can’t get over the fact that Bruce made them all look like a bunch of bloody amateurs. Pure Envy, great content as always Stripey, thank you.
I hadn't seen this clip before and burst out laughing when Bob Wall said there was 2000 people there! I just recently read in Matthew Polly's book that Bruce Lee was pissed off when Bob turned up uninvited with Chuck Norris for Way of the Dragon and yet he still gave him a part in the film. There's gratitude for you.
How about phony Chuck Norris gratitude? No one would even know his fucking name today, had Bruce Lee not given him a part in his film. If Bruce was still alive, no one would even know the name Fuck Norris today.
Yes he was, because he is just as big a coward and liar as Wall was. This type of shit only came out years after Bruce's death, including by the king of all liars, Chuck Norris.
The only reason anyone ever interviewed Bob Wall ( or even knew who he was)l was because he was in Bruce Lee movies. No one outside 1960s karate circles would have ever heard about him otherwise.
Would love them to have said that in front of Bruce. Honestly it so disrespectful. They still haven't recovered from their bruised egoes in the 60s having 1st met Bruce.
Any person that talks $h!t about person that they can't say it to their face when alive or talking crap about dead person I have absolutely no respect for those people. Although at 5"1 I'm a small guy when I had people talking $h!t about me and those were bigger people than me I've gone to their face and confronted them. I also trained in *Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu* and sparr with bigger and heavier people than me and train my body in gym to keep fit!
When I heard them say it was sparring I knew there was gonna be a lot of shit talking. To bad Jim Kelly would not give names because he said in a video here on yt that he has seen Bruce spar with many champions and none could touch him and we know these two were included.

Over time, Bob Wall has given different opinions and changed the facts and circumstances several times. I personally believe that Bruce Lee was on another level.
What I noticed about Joe Lewis is he only gave credit to Bruce Lee near the end of his life. You can find interviews in which he admits Bruce Lee was the best. Look at John Little's book detailing all the fights Bruce Lee had behind closed doors. John Little also mentions a time when Bruce Lee offered a Joe to a street fight out of anger and Joe Lewis backed down. I suggest you watch John Little interviews on YT, John is a Bruce Lee historian who has some great testimonies.
Not true, Joe constantly flip flopped back and forth between praising then trashing Bruce from 73 until the day he died. A lot depended on who was asking him, if it was someone who could call him out on the BS he would praise Bruce to the high heavens, if it was someone who wouldn't really know any better he would basically trash Bruce
Bob, Chuck and Lewis obviously have their egos … even a lamb can kick a dead lion… Truth is nobody would really know any of these guys had it not been for Bruce Lee. Keep up the great work! ❤️🙏🏼
i trained many years and have to be honest we used to say ,would you like a light spar if you wanted to practice your moves . totally agree with the rest of your comments and observations .
@thomaspearson6215 The difference here is that Wall meant it to be misconstrued in a way that showed Lee as having lost to him, even if it was just a sparring match, so as to take a little light off his fame. The intention was obvious, I'd have thought.
Hi Stripey, I remember years ago watching the Bob Wall interview where he talks about the locker room fight, and how Bruce shot some of it? ..That says it all for me! after that I never gave anything he ( Bob) said a second thought ..As for Joe Lewis, in all the years I have been searching out new stuff with Bruce, Joe was sometimes in the background, and I know as much about him now as I did then.. not very much! - It always seems to me a lot of the guys who were around back then would spin out a thread ..and make a rope! and you know the old saying "Money for old Rope " ..Keep up the great work you are doing, I know it must take a lot of time and effort, it is much appreciated by all of us fans of "The Man" Mr Lee. - Shane.
I'm glad you posted this. I first saw this on Facebook a few years ago and was disgusted at the level of disrespect shown by Wall & Lewis. They should've been more appreciative of the fact that neither of them would be known if it weren't for Bruce Lee. Wall, Lewis and Chuck Norris were extremely jealous of Bruce's success.
I really like the one of Bruce and bob smiling. You can sense the relief in Bruce's face. Almost hear what he's thinking. "I just got away with my life!" 🤣🤣🤣
I've heard about Bruce Lee being cocky but in those days I guess he had to be that way to prove himself. You could imagine what he went through with the times how they were. He might have been a cocky guy but he backed it up. I'm pretty sure he went through a lot of crap. It does piss me off that these guys disrespect Bruce Lee if it weren't for Bruce they wouldn't have been known. Well they might but Bruce Lee was the secret ingredient in these guys careers. Thank you Stripey for helping me learn more about Bruce Lee.
Yes, I completely agree with you....Bob Wall and Joe Lewis just boy talking. All the greats have their critics. Bruce is no different. Hugs from Okinawa! :)
Best Bruce Lee channel online IMO - love your video's. Unlike a certain other Channel (I won't name it but we all know LOL) you don't claim to have found hidden footage no-one has seen before and spent a year recovering when all he's done is zoom in to sections of a pre-existing video LOL ;) Keep up the great work and keep it real - thank you.
This was brilliant Stripey! Not because of the subject, which was very disrespectful, but your reactions! Hilarious, I'm sat here laughing my socks off! I had seen the practice footage before, and it is just that a practice session. Bob is definitely showing off in front of Joe. Amazing photos he had though, I would love those 😊 I'm not sure what Bob was trying to prove but in my eyes he's made himself look like a turncoat, he would never say these things to Bruce, because like you say Stripey, he would have killed him! Thanks again Stripey
I always thought that Bob was a little strange, but a back stabbing, shit talker! No! I did not! What a terrible shame! Nice video taking a deeper look at this Wall footage, Stripey. Good job. 🐲
Saw this some time ago and they talk about a pic of bruce doing a front kick an his posture and technique all wrong. Watch the bit in way when he fights Bob and does the front kicks the immediately to round kick. The posture of the front kick is exactly the same but so fast and powerful you can't see it. Surprising bull talk especially from Lewis.
Bet this is how they spoke about Bruce behind his back when Bruce was alive. Behind his back. And Bob looks off balance in almost every shot 😂. Also in John Littles new book, Joe Lewis backing out of a confrontation with Bruce after accusing him of coming onto his wife. Still bitter that he didn't have the balls to take on Bruce 😂
Bob wall was a hanger on of Chuck norris and basically turned up without Bruce inviting him. Bob Wall let himself down, talking himself up. Jealousy has clearly took over instead having positive things to say. Sad very sad. Awesome vid 👌 👏
That's a strange one as both Wall & Lewis have praised Lee on many occasion but wound up looking like complete twats, their attempt to steal the limelight made for an epic fail on this occasion.
I've got a Peter Archer interview in my martial arts magazine. Peter Archer said he saw Bruce spar with Bob Wall on the ETD set and Bob was having much difficulty because of bruces sheer speed and athletiscm. Bruce was making Bob look quite slow. And that hed seen many martial artist who were physically great at what they did, but he'd never seen anyone with the poetry in motion bruce had. Archer said bruce had an intuitive sense, and that's what made him so special.
In an interview Jim Kelly said he saw Bruce Lee spar an actor on the set of Enter the Dragon and Bruce's skills was so superior. Right then and there he knew Bruce was the real deal. Using basic deduction, it would point to Bob Wall. Bob Wall was an opportunist and Joe Lewis was a Bully and even though they were fairweather friends with Bruce, they were always envious of him.
@@StripeyR I appreciate a Brit, having so much enthusiasm for America's martial arts juggernaut, Bruce The Dragon Lee. & it is year of the dragon this year. I've always liked Bob Wall & all, but there's definitely some embellishment going on in that video. & I appreciate you posting it, because I've never seen it before. It's kind of like, Bruce wasn't around anymore, so let me exaggerate my skill in comparison to his, type of thing. I was surprised at the fuck him comment. That caught me off guard. I also think there's some jealousy in the mix too. Bruce was a very impressive individual, who changed the martial arts world. What he did by his age, is insane. I'm sure Bob, & all the other martial art contemporaries of Bruce, had some level of jealousy. Just to digress for a moment. In my opinion, Bruce invented MMA. People argue that MMA is a sport, but it didn't start out that way. UFC was originally a fighting contest with minimal rules. People forget that. MMA was already developing in the octagon, when it was still a fighting contest. I like to think of JKD as a particular MMA style that Bruce created. MMA wasn't in the martial arts lexicon when Bruce was around, so he just called his fighting philosophy Jeet Kune Do. But to me, I think it's more accurate to say, JKD is a style that was tailored made specifically for Bruce, utilizing MMA philosophy. But, it wasn't a style set in concrete. If Bruce discovered new methods or techniques that were superior to what he was doing, he'd incorporate them. In other words, JKD was an open minded style. & very much MMA, in the original UFC context. So besides his impact in cinema, his contemporaries also had to contend with a guy that completely innovated martial arts. Having said all that, I don't have any ill feelings towards Mr. Wall. I understand his behavior in that video, but it was disrespectful.
Great video Stripey! I saw that video before with Bob and Joe shitting on Bruce Lee...Can you believe the BS those two were talking.... Till next time have a great evening my friend!
It’s funny in a way because we both know how they are lying. At least Joe on was honest about a lot of things unlike all the other guys. Still don’t know why they talk shit about Bruce.
Not sure what make of footage .as i was not there .and as you said we all have diffrent opions that what make us human.even bruce lee .great video and always enjoy the qulity of your channel and hard work you put into it
Bob had a completely different attitude back in 1993 in the documentary, The Curse of the Dragon". Nothing but praise and even some fear of Bruce. I wonder what changed?
I Love you channel! You're the man keep up the awesome videos'! I'd love to hear somethings abut Yip Man's real fights & If Yip Man ever had a real fight! The teacher of Bruce Lee!
Every wannabe is jalous of Bruce Lee and the man death so hé can not kick there ass. Bruce Lee is The Legend The Dragon 🥋 OSU 🥋 Greetings from the Netherlands RESPECT.
Great comments, Stripey. Spot on! You hd me cracking up several times. Nobody is interested in anything he did if Bruce is't in the shot. That's why he made up that BS about Lee being in some of the shots of his fight scene in Game of Death. Sick. Bob Wall was Bruce's Uke a few times in films, nothing more. I noticed he became downright insane in podcasts especially as he got older. He started believing the crap he was spouting.
The lies of a puffed up ego surface eventually. Bob could have so much more respect today if he were a more loyal friend after Bruce’s passing. Jim Kelly, in my opinion, is a good example of a loyal friend as I have only seen clips where he speaks highly of Bruce.
It’s like Bob didn’t think there was footage of them messing around rehearing.. weird. Did he not think other people were around that saw all this also? Just like Gene Labell’s bs story. I guess they hoped nobody else would speak up and say they are lying about it all.
Wall talking BS here having no idea that after this Anna Capri's footage would come out exposing that rather than blocking the kick, he in fact got hit with all of them. Bruce had him stepping out of range yet still caught him every single time on the chest. Showed how fast Bruce could close the range (this was written by Dawei Lee Fight Channel, all credits to him). Some things: Besides Jackie Chan, Wall claimed also he hired Angela Miao, Jim Kelly and Peter Archer for ETD. The reality is he hired nobody. You can read many accounts from the ETD producers, Fred Weintraub, Paul Heller, Robert Clouse, but also from Hong Kong cinema historian Bey Logan about the movie, and Wall hired nobody. Funny is he always said "That's Peter Bennet i hired him"...he said "Peter Bennet" in multiple interviews, but the real name of that guy was Peter Ian Archer. The original choice for Williams was an african-american actor named Rockne Tarkington, but for unknown reasons he never showed up to the filming. And the original choice for Roper was William Smith, the guy who played Conan's father in "Conan The Barbarian" (with Arnold) in 1982. But the producers felt he was too tall (6'2"=187cm), and Bolo Yeung would look to small (5'6"=168cm) against him in their fight in the end. Bey Logan spoke about all of this in certain interviews which are here on RUclips. After Tarkington and Smith fell out, Kelly and John Saxon were hired, and they were chosed by the ETD producers Weintraub, Heller and Clouse, not by Lee, Wall or someone else. And i think it was Kelly who asked if his buddy Steve Muhammad Sanders could be in the movie too, so he got a small cameo in the dreaming sequence of Williams going back to his Dojo and his Sensei. And some other thing which gets rarely mentioned: In the late 80s, there was a scandal journalist named Albert Harry Goldman. He made a career in writing bad stuff about deceaced ViP s. He did it first with Elvis, then with John Lennon, and Bruce Lee was the next on his list. Goldman needed one guy who knew Bruce personally...and he found this guy in Bob Wall. Wall was so full of himself, and he confirmed to Goldman some very private things about Bruce s private life, and so Goldman did put it in one of his articles. Of course Bruce s friends and family were very angry about that, because they thought Wall was a friend. Shorty after, the lawyer Adrian Marshall (who was according to Tom Bleecker the lover of Bruce s widow, Linda Lee-Cadwell, for about 10 years) went to see Wall at his office. Marshall put a business card down on Wall s desk. Do you know from who? From Joey Orbillo. Orbillo was very angry and Marshall said to Wall: "If you ever do that again, Joey Orbillo siad he s coming to you and punch your face in!" Wall was afraid and backed down. He then told Marshall he didnt speak with Goldman and was on a ski trip during the weekend when Goldman said he spoke with Wall...but Goldman had Wall s signature. This just underlines Joey liked Bruce very much and they were close friends. And it also shows Joey never took these point karate clowns (Norris, Wall, etc.) serious, and he had not problem to threaten Wall, and Wall sh..it in his pants when he heard Orbillo wanted to punch his face in. With all the people (Wall etc.) who spread so much lies and nonsense about Lee, Orbillo was definately a true friend of his. If you attack someone in his professional life, do it. It was definately a cheap shot and low blow by Wall. I dont know what Goldman was up to, but he wrote some very dirty things about Elvis and John Lennon, and i think this other ViP name Lenny Bruce was also on his list. I think Goldman s goal was to claim among other things that B. Lee did hit his widow Linda and abused her physically, and that he did similar things with actresses like Nora Miao and other female actresses from Hong Kong. But because of his stardom there, they were all quiet. So basically he wanted to say Bruce Lee was a kind guy like Harvey Weinstein, and that id...iot (sorry RiP but...) Bob Wall allowed Goldman to interview him (Wall), and Goldman did the interview like this: Goldman: "Ive heard Mr Bruce Lee was a violent man / abusive towards women / etc. etc." Wall: "Yes thats true." I cant prove it was like that! But dont matter what or how it was, but it was something way below the belt line. Goldman was never up for postive things. He made a name for himself putting deceaced ViPs down, he did similar things with Elvis and John Lennon. His full name was Albert Harry Goldman (1927-1994). You can see him in the 1993 documentary "Bruce Lee - Curse of the Dragon", which is here on RUclips, and he has a Wiki article on himself. Goldman about Elvis: "He was a pervert and voyeur". And i wouldnt be surprised if Goldman thought the same about Lee, and it was his intention to publish it. But he needed semeone to confirm it that knew Bruce personally, and he found the fool und unloyad "friend" Robert Alan "Bob" Wall. Only so much: Wall was never a true friend of Lee! But he made career out of being his friend. And seeing it from today, i wished Orbillo would have punched his face in back the day! Wall would have deserved it for speaking with such a swine like Goldman! You can attack someone in his professional field, in Lee case be it martial arts instructor or actor, bu to attack someone in his private field, thats a very critical thing to do. You [Stripey] can find former Lee-Historian George Tan speaking about it. Type in the searchbox: Bruce Lee Tracking the Dragon Part 3 and the interview s gonna show up when Tan speaks about it. Watch it, you wont regret it. Maybe you gonna do a video about this rare account from George Tan too. Since 90% of Bruce Lee fans dont know about that incidient, i mean Wall spoke with such a swine like Goldman, and Orbillo threaten Wall to punch his face in, and Wall sh.. his pants.
In some ways, Joe Lewis talking shit about Bruce Lee is useful in proving how good Bruce was. Not much of Bruce's fighting / sparring was ever filmed. There was the Bruce Lee Long Beach demo, but that was 1967 with Bruce not being at his peak as fighter. And then there's the ETD fights with the extras which were filmed but never released. Many Bruce Lee detractors say that most fight stories about Bruce are from people who were fans or people who already liked him. But Joe Lewis, being a mixed bag with Bruce, was often living in the shadow of Bruce Lee, and many times has talked crap about Bruce. Fast forward to 2021, Stephen Thompson a Karate and MMA fighter is interviewed on ESPN about Bruce Lee. Very candidly, and almost accidentally, he talked about his conversation with Joe Lewis in his later years before he passed. Joe told Stephen Thompson that Bruce Lee hit him the hardest. That's crazy to think about. Joe had mentioned many times that Bruce hit like a heavyweight. That is different than this rare chance admission, that Bruce not only hit like a heavyweight, but hit the hardest out of all the heavyweights Joe had fought. So you have a skeptic admitting Bruce hit incredibly hard. The KO power at Bruce's weight class would be insane.
@@StripeyR RUclips wont let me send the link. But just search ESPN Stephen Thompson Bruce Lee. Im a fan of his and was expecting him to be one of those people that just respected Bruce Lee or was a fan. Had no idea he would whip out new info from Joe Lewis. It sounded like Joe Lewis was in the shadow of Bruce and earlier on didnt like to talk about him, later on I think he learned to live with it and praised Bruce.
Slightly off topic. Man alive! I've had the chance to watch the Final Game Of Death docu. Arrow.. Shows off the true magnetism and character of Bruce, doesn't it. He gets angry with himself, laughs with others and the video shows his absolute determination for perfection. I honestly think we'll never ever see his like again.
Bob Wall is like one of those old school pro wrestlers that are their own biggest fan and continue to try and grow their own legend, when their stories are easily debunked
Great video mate, Have you seen Bruce Willow's Podcast with Bob Wall? Bob subscribed to the John Ford philosophy of "Why give them the truth, when you can give them the legend" Bob's appearance on the BW Podcast is pretty cringey and hard to sit through, he takes credit for a lot of the casting on ETD, film locations, he even disses Jim Kelly a few times. According to both John Little & Matt Polly - Bob invited himself onto the set of Way of the Dragon as he was business partners with Chuck Norris. Both Little & Polly have stated that Bruce was pissed with Bob blagging his way into a job. It is important to remember that Bob Wall sold his Karate Gi from ETD about 15 times to make a few quid! As for Joe Lewis it's worth checking out the Kung Fu Genius' podcasts with John Little & Matt Polly regarding Bruce's Real Fights. Both authors speak about Joe's complicated history with Bruce, there's the story about Bruce pulling Joe for not crediting his training sessions that helped Joe win competitions, and also the story of Joe showing up at Bruce's home after Joe's wife claimed Bruce made a pass at her (only to realise his wife had set him up), there is also the story of Bruce straightening Joe out after Lewis injured Herb Jackson. Also it's been long rumoured that Joe had always been bitter after losing the role of Colt to Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon, the reason it was due to the clash with Bruce. Joe lost out on a potential Hollywood career that Chuck enjoyed whereas Joe gave seminar' s under the banner of "What I learned from Bruce" Could I suggest a follow-up video raising these stories? Keep up the excellent work mate! Mark
It’s funny because Joe backed away when he went over Bruce’s house looking for a fight and when Bruce had enough of his bs he said let’s go, Joe backed off and walked away. So it’s amusing hearing this but also annoying.
Of course, there was no sparring match going on there. I came here after watching two guys interviewing Steven Segal in Dubai, where he said how sick he was of the lies being spewed against him by the likes of Gene Lebell and Bob Wall, whom, like you said, I had never heard of either. And, like you said, there would be a million people who would like to blow up that picture with Bruce Lee on their wall. Only, I'd have said 6 billion, rather, because who in the world has not heard of Bruce Lee! What an expose! I always love fans of the greats who do the tremendous work of research and publicity of the life and works of their idols, who can no more speak for themselves, whoever those greats may be - Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and in the case of Britney Spears, even fought for her freedom! What an expose! Thank you. You have done it in such an apt, yet dignified manner. Anyway, both Gene and Bob are six feet underground now, as Bruce Lee and his son Jason, have been for a long time. Great tragedies! I'm sure Bruce Lee would have appreciated you as a friend!
Both of them were quite mercurial in their memories of Bruce. I think that ultimately they resented being in his shadow, even though they were both legitimate figures in the martial arts world. Particularly Joe. However many times they implied he wasn't all that after his death, Joe sought out Bruce's teaching, and Bob hitched himself to the bandwagon more than anyone. You wouldn't get Dustin Poirier taking lessons from Tony Jaaa would you?😂
My late friend, met Wall once. He had nothing but love for Bruce as Bruce put Wall in his movies!!! Why he talk smack bout Bruce don’t know. But because of the smack said about Bruce(Steven Seagal). Wall called him out and challenged Seagal.
Thnx sir fo ur great initiative n efforts..obtaining info n audio.. & clearly n precisely enumerate th content n context of wat people claim 2b but they are APPARAPPARENTLY NOT...e.g. m j white, joe louis, chuck norris bob w & so on...May be bcoz they are: 1. Naive n ignorance n immature 2 contemplate th science Of body mechanics (..) n science Of power (..) size n weight not an issue... 2. Greedy n pride... 3. Etc... Cheers n rgds 2 u all GB n best Vatu
Wall was fortunate to have been in 2 of LEEs movues nobody knew who the hell he was. And little Lew was made a better fighter after training under Lee. BOTH have passed on BUT! even though BLiis gone also he is still the GOAT!!!!!!!!!! 🙏
Coming from the martial arts world myself, one thing that I have come to realize is that a lot of these guys have tremendous egos. It seems that none of them want to admit that Bruce Lee was better than they were. After he died they all jumped all over Bruce Lee in every way possible as it became popular to talk tremendous amounts of trash about Bruce. You would have thought that now that most of these guys are old that they would have come out and admitted that they couldn't beat Bruce, since they never achieved the notoriety that he did and never will since it's too late now... It's really sad though, because the truth is that Bruce could have wiped the floor with every last one of them.
It kind of surprises me Bob Wall & Steven Seagal didn't get along better, they really had so much in common: both pathological liars, both sporting obviously fake hair, both legends in their own minds, maybe they were too much alike!
@@BRUCEJJ66Seagal always praised Bruce Lee and his family. Bob Wall is way, way more of a fraudulent liar than Seagal. Bob also spread the false Gene Lebell chokeout story for years shamelessly. Bob also claimed he "knocked out" Royce Gracie a few years before UFC 1, lol.
@@BRUCEJJ66 Bob Wall is way worse of a liar than Seagal. Seagal never spent 30 years slandering another martial artist spreading falsehoods about them to make himself look better. In contrast, Gene and Bob Wall willingly did that, and didn't get exposed about it until eyewitnesses set the record straight.
Hi Stripey, like in my previous comments, RESPECT, its people such as Bob and Joe and there are others as you know ( Alive today ) that have their opinions on Bruce and what they think would have happened in a REAL FIGHT and who would have won etc! I thought I knew a lot about Bruce until I started reading WRATH of the Dragon by John Little ( Absolutely a must for Fans of Bruce ) very much an eye opener in my opinion and has left me with the opinion that Bruce was a Fighter to the highest caliber and people have to get their heads around this and understand the difference of competing to rules compared to using the tools in a real fight to defeat an opponent in any ways called upon ( Read the Book, it explains a lot.. )..Bruce was, as Han in Enter the Dragon put it, Your skills are extraordinary!. I do believe Bruce was teaching us techniques in his movies along with his philosophies, adapting his own styles and changing whenever he needed to, based on the type of opponent in front of him. There is no one today that is showcasing these lessons on screen in movies and I do believe, that from Wing Chun to Jeet Kune Do he would have changed his style again and again would he be alive today. Others on platforms such as RUclips have as you say, opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got them, from Video Games where Bruce is Fighting Van Damme / Seagal etc to others in various forms who say they would have won Bruce hands down! it will never end and 50 years from now people will still have their opinions. All I ask is that people be respectful of a Man that gave us some amazing movies, with amazing fight scenes and philosophies, that new generations today are fans of, can that be said of Bob, Joe and others?. No one can hold a candle to Bruce in my humble opinion when it comes to fighting. I highly recommend the book ( Wrath of the Dragon )to all Bruce Lee fans, you may be shocked by some of the facts, possibly change the way you think about the Man, I for one would like to know, not the martial artist, Fighter or actor, but was Bruce on a mission to prove something? reading the book made me think, was Bruce looking to change the way westerners thought about him and that he wanted / demanded their respect and through his frustrations and anger made him push himself to be the best in all aspects of physicality and showcase this to the western world?. in his movies and philosophies, he mentions, emotional content, not Anger, but yet he was the first to get into a fight instead of possibly walking away from some...What's your thoughts Stripey after reading the book, did it leave you with questions about Bruce the Man and based on what others thought of him, were some scared of him due to his anger and him not walking away from fights when he had nothing to prove, was he like this with his close so called friends and loved ones? so many questions...Keep up the good work, its always appreciated and so many unanswered questions, the Journey keeps getting more and more interesting👍
Jealousy and Envy, the only people that I haven't seen or heard talking bad about Mr. Bruce Lee is Lou Alcindor aka Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Coburn, Steve McQueen, Jim Kelly and other people who actually respected him Dan Inosanto, Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan. Most of the people here owe their start in the industry to Mr. Bruce Lee with the exception of the established celebrities he taught.
There is a difference between sparring and rehearsel (practicing coreographed moves). Period! And this was a rehearsal! Not sparring. Let alone a contest match! If Bob thought he was better than Lee, then he should have fought a real challenging match than a supposed sparring match, which in my opinion are game/play fights (sparring) that children have in playgrounds! Another period!
Great video as always Stripey. Bob talking out of his arse again which i don't think anyone's overly shocked by. To be honest I've always been interested in the backstory of the late Peter Archer...maybe because he's a fellow aussie. :)
I showed this video to Bob Wall on Facebook a few years ago in a private message. He went nuts and called me tons of names and challenged me to come to a gym near him to fight him. He told me whether I won or lost I wouldn't walk out of that gym because his students would kill me haha. He couldn't handle being shown his own two faced back stabbing ungrateful ways in his own video. R.I.P to him but I never liked him after I saw this video and especially how he treated me for just asking him why he said those things about Bruce Lee. Oh and he called me Will the junkie West who makes up lies about him while I'm off my head on drugs haha dude you're on video saying the things I'm asking you about 😂
No-one ever spoke badly of Bruce Lee when he was alive, so why the trash talk now? even Jim Kelly spoke very Highly of Bruce Lee, and without 'Naming names' _Bob Wall, Chuck Norris etc) he said Bruce Lee would have kicked all their asses whilst asleep.🙂
After seeing the short film you clearly see Bruce is literally playing simply to rehearse movements in the fight scene. If Bruce wanted to hurt Bob, I believe he would simply obliterate him within less than a minute. I'm not one of those who thinks Bruce was the greatest fighter of all time, but he was very dangerous and he could seriously hurt even well seasoned fighters. great video Stripey.
This was an EXTREMELY interesting bit. I have seen the photos before, but NEVER in this context😮 Bob and Joe sound like two envious dudes that just couldn't WAIT to " get something " on Bruce. Although I consider myself the " Ultimate Bruce Lee fan, I DO believe some of it😮 Okay, Bob had a " Good Sparring Day" on Bruce..BUT the sheer fact that he came over to show Joe PICTURES??? TO ME THAT INDICATES THAT THEY ALL HAVE SPARRED BEFORE, USUALLY ENDING IN BRUCE GETTING THE BEST OF THEM, If not,if this was a regular occurrence, WHY SHOW JOE? I think truly, that Bruce " showed up" " somebody " earlier but THIS time Bob fared better.... Than Joe??.... Would explain Bob's excitement....Excellent work sir, YOU HAVE YOURSELF A NEW SUB. This was far better presented than other channels wirh their " new"Bruce Lee tidbits. Well Done👍👍
Marvel Comics magazine " Deadly Hands of Kung Fu "In the Bob Wall interview he is upset in the fight in Enter The Dragon. It's very negative about Bruce. Behind the scenes at the end of your youtube footages is just practicing. Thanks for showing this. At the end Bruce isn't here to tell the truth .

What would be interesting would be to know where all the photographic files that Bob had ended up, when he showed up at Warner and took a bunch of negatives, do we see them in some of them?
I never believed anything that spilt out of Bob's mouth. He changes his mind like the weather. I saw that interview a few years back. If there is an afterlife then I'm willing to bet Bob is creeping round Bruce 😂😂 That Game of death comment is unbelievable 😂😂 I think he was jealous of Bruce if the truth be known. Have a great weekend brother Stripey 👍 🙏
BOB WALL WAS PATHETIC AS A MARTIAL ARTIST AND I'VE SEEN JOE LEWIS'S MOVIE'S REALLY BAD!!!!!!!! THESE TWO SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. GOOD WORK STRIPEY.
Joe Lewis came around towards the end of his life paying homage. He loved Bruce. I’m sure Bruce wasn’t going full force either. Why commit if it’s not a real fight, and he still has a movie to shoot? In the video footage, it looks like they’re rehearsing a scene.
Still photos are no way to judge someones skill. The photo captures you in mid movement and it often looks like your hands and feet are in the wrong position, but when you see film of the same scene it suddenly all makes sense. Bob knew with Bruce's speed he couldn't touch him, and they were only playing around anyway, so it wasn't serious.
The thing with bob is he has a liars face and body language.. always has done. That wasn't sparring it was rehearsal ha ha.. bob wall and co all start talking crap about Bruce 40-50 years later why? Because with the age of the internet they regain a little bit of notoriety is all
When I first saw that video Bob Wall and Joe Louis is when I lost all respect for Bob Wall.. not 100% sure on how Bruce really felt about Bob but I think the only reason Bob was in Bruce's life is because of Chuck Norris
Stripey you are the best at defending Bruce lee,We all need you ,even Brucelee needs you because he is no longer alive to defend himself, Lets face it those 2 where bruce students and they where loosers in regards of action movies, they never maked it ,I remember Joe making a low budget film and he sucked at it ,he sucked so much that nobody even remembers that stupid movie ,and what can I say about Bob, he didnt even had a movie carreer ,the only reason he was in a movie was to make bruce lee look good,he was like those wwe wrestlers who are never gonna be stars but are there just to fill a hole. Of course they feel envy. The only reason why these 2 bums where famous internationaly was because of Bruce lee.And instead of being thankfull to him they where a pair of ungratefull fools. That makes them look bad, not bruce though . I was really angry when I saw that video , I always knew Joe had envy towards bruce ,but bob kind of surprised me.Its sad that they tarnished their mártial arts legacy showing how lowly ,ungratefull ,jelous, cowards they where ,people with no virtues ( just guys with too much ego and personality defects, like any other scumbag on the streets, showing off their bad inner qualities) for talking about his friend and teacher like that .I say cowards because you never talk like that about your friends now that Bruce could not defend himself. But we are lucky to have you here saying the truth. I was really bothered by that video when it came out. Thank you Stripey. I feel a sense of relief for you clearing these mess off.
This is a brilliant picture, (Bob attacking Lee) in my opinion, Bob is doing a terrible classic reverse punch the you could see coming last week, with a crap faint kick. They don't understand that Lee is covering all bases, high and low like double Gang Sao or Kwan Sao. So yes Bob this is a very interesting picture
When he said you can kill a legend but we’re not famous yet. 1 Bob couldn’t touch Bruce 2 If they could have beaten Bruce but would rather take his shit so they could make money in the future both of these sceneries carries two people with no honor or dignity.
Great Episode, I have to tell you that only one thing that was said was true. According to a friend of Charles Damiano in a video charles made, his friend Steve Wallin met Ahna Capri in a convention and she filmed this light sparring. She first asked Jim Kelly to spar with Bruce Lee and his words was Hell No! Bob Wall agreed and you saw the video. The interview is on you tube. I Also wanted to add, Joe Lewis accused Bruce Lee of getting fresh with his wife and Joe went to Bruce house to confront him. Joe realized that his wife lied to her. Bruce was angry with him and cursed him out. That led to them not being friends It's in the Wrath of the Dragon book. Thanks for posting this my friend.
@@JudahAwakening go watch the video on you tube. By the way Kelly said he had sparred and trained and has known Martial Artist. He said on a you tube video that Bruce Lee was Unbelievable and untouchable. By the way I use to email him and he would respond to me and tell me about Enter the Dragon and Three the Hard Way. I don't have to tell or speak lies. The problem is that people have a hard time believing facts.
@luisvelazquez5420 I never said that Kelly didn't think highly of bruce, what I said was what you told is a bold face lie!You never saw a video of Kelly ever saying that he would never spar with Bruce, plus back in the 70s, White people, not all, were very racist towards blacks and Asian people! She may not have said that at all! She didn't even know either one of them! I know I lived through that Era! I doubt Kelly would not have turned down a sparring match with bruce.Kelly and Bruce had a good relationship!
@@JudahAwakening I understand what you are saying but she was in the movie Enter the Dragon. The behind the scenes footage of Enter the Dragon was filmed by her in her camera. Why would she want to lie, by the way Bob Wall mentioned the same thing on an interview. It's on you tube, check out the interviews. Now if you don't want to believe it that is on you.
Jealousy, jealousy, jealousy!! Nothing more to be said.
Bruce Lee would destroy Bob Wall and Gene Labell please either one was on Bruce Lee's level.
He would have kicked both of they ass!😂
Probably just jealous hey
True
I hadn't seen this clip before and burst out laughing when Bob Wall said there was 2000 people there!
I just recently read in Matthew Polly's book that Bruce Lee was pissed off when Bob turned up uninvited with Chuck Norris for Way of the Dragon and yet he still gave him a part in the film. There's gratitude for you.
How about phony Chuck Norris gratitude? No one would even know his fucking name today, had Bruce Lee not given him a part in his film. If Bruce was still alive, no one would even know the name Fuck Norris today.
Bob basically followed Chuck around where ever he went.
Joe wasn’t taking Bob seriously. His voice was dripping with skepticism.
Yes he was, because he is just as big a coward and liar as Wall was. This type of shit only came out years after Bruce's death, including by the king of all liars, Chuck Norris.
You are right...Bob and Joe were very disrespectful!
Smh😂
Indeed, fella. Cheers 👍
Same here
these guys were real fighters who competed and then acted, Bruce was an actor who never competed, who are you going to believe
Bob claiming it was really Bruce in some of the GOD78 locker fight is peak Bob. He’s trying to impress Joe here and his ego takes flight.
🤣 Bob was a comedian and didn’t even know it
Spot on!
Great video Stripey! The bit when Joe says "he's not cut here" is brilliant🤣🤣🤣.
Thanks Pal. Bob's face is a picture 😅😆
Joe Lewis would crush Bruce Lee. Those stories are fake
Imagine bruce lee with the highspeed cameras we have today
Bob, Chuck and Lewis obviously have their egos … even a lamb can kick a dead lion…
Truth is nobody would really know any of these guys had it not been for Bruce Lee.
I think Bob was upset because he had to walk around with a shit stain on his face for the whole film 😂
I suspect your comment to be accurate.
Jealousy...can be such an ugly thing.
HOO-YAH & God Bless Bruce's Soul and Memory.
Thank you, I really appreciate it. Cheers 👍
This was brilliant Stripey! Not because of the subject, which was very disrespectful, but your reactions! Hilarious, I'm sat here laughing my socks off!
I had seen the practice footage before, and it is just that a practice session. Bob is definitely showing off in front of Joe.
Amazing photos he had though, I would love those 😊
I'm not sure what Bob was trying to prove but in my eyes he's made himself look like a turncoat, he would never say these things to Bruce, because like you say Stripey, he would have killed him!
Thanks again Stripey
Finally, was waiting for someone to clear this up.. thank you sir!!
I always thought that Bob was a little strange, but a back stabbing, shit talker! No! I did not! What a terrible shame! Nice video taking a deeper look at this Wall footage, Stripey. Good job. 🐲
“It’s not true at all Bob” 🤣 spot on as usual stripey
I read Wrath of the Dragon, I agree with your comment 👍
Bob wall was a hanger on of Chuck norris and basically turned up without Bruce inviting him. Bob Wall let himself down, talking himself up. Jealousy has clearly took over instead having positive things to say. Sad very sad. Awesome vid 👌 👏
Bruce would have been very disappointed in both of them
That's a strange one as both Wall & Lewis have praised Lee on many occasion but wound up looking like complete twats, their attempt to steal the limelight made for an epic fail on this occasion.
Another great video. Thank you, my friend. I really enjoyed it. I was a little upset, but you made me laugh😅 with some of your comments. Great job 👍
I can't believe these 2 clowns. I can't believe Bruce treated as friends.
Dead on mate all that's missing from these 2 are a Ronald Mcdonald suit not karate suit.
I'm sure the two kissed Bruce's ass to get something from him.
He would have kicked they ass at the same time!😂
Bob is the only clown. Joe wasn’t taken him seriously and was being sarcastic.
That was pretty cool, I've never seen the video with Joe Lewis before. I don't know why Bob would talk crap about Bruce.
No one took as good a kicking in the lee films as Bob wall😂😂
Bob was really taking hits from Lee. He wanted the fight to be as realistic as possible.
😆Indeed, mate 😆
And Lee sparred - seriously , with real focus. This was important work/OJT for him.
Or gene lebell,,on film he beat their ass like a bastard child🤣😂😆😝
Great video Stripey! I saw that video before with Bob and Joe shitting on Bruce Lee...Can you believe the BS those two were talking....
Till next time have a great evening my friend!
It’s funny in a way because we both know how they are lying. At least Joe on was honest about a lot of things unlike all the other guys. Still don’t know why they talk shit about Bruce.
“Sparring” lol 🤣
@@axelstone3131 a bunch of hot non sense! Lol
@@CharlesDamianoBLC absolutely 👍🏻 lol
Thanks, Charles. I saw this for the first time last week & it really P***ed me off. Big Ego's mate, it's shameful.
Cheers my friend 👍
I can clearly see Bob wouldn’t have stood a chance if Bruce was sparring with Bob … 😂
Not sure what make of footage .as i was not there .and as you said we all have diffrent opions that what make us human.even bruce lee .great video and always enjoy the qulity of your channel and hard work you put into it
Thank you 👍
it's great to have footage to debug these rumours. Thank you for your in depth research.
Bob had a completely different attitude back in 1993 in the documentary, The Curse of the Dragon". Nothing but praise and even some fear of Bruce. I wonder what changed?
Keep the videos and books coming my friend my collection is growing but not quite like yours.
I Love you channel! You're the man keep up the awesome videos'! I'd love to hear somethings abut Yip Man's real fights & If Yip Man ever had a real fight! The teacher of Bruce Lee!
Yip Man was a former police officer! There he was always facing conflict!
your sarcasm is at its best in this video. you had me in stiches... comedy gold
Big Up Stripey!!!
Cheers, mate 👍
Seen these 2 talking shite about bruce lee didnt say anything to bruce when he was alive.
Great content as always stripey take care pal.
Agreed 100%, mate. Cheers Bud. 👍
Of course. They are all the same. Scared of pissing him off back in the day, happy to slander him and make money of him when he’s not around.
100% correct mate
Hi, thees two were nobody's before they met Bruce and became nobodys again after Bruce passed, Many Thanks .Love all your videos
What did Gene say about Bruce that wasn't true?
Great commentary, backing up for Bruce, you are the man Stripey!
Thank you 👍
Wall talking BS here having no idea that after this Anna Capri's footage would come out exposing that rather than blocking the kick, he in fact got hit with all of them. Bruce had him stepping out of range yet still caught him every single time on the chest. Showed how fast Bruce could close the range (this was written by Dawei Lee Fight Channel, all credits to him).
Some things:
Besides Jackie Chan, Wall claimed also he hired Angela Miao, Jim Kelly and Peter Archer for ETD.
And some other thing which gets rarely mentioned:
In the late 80s, there was a scandal journalist named Albert Harry Goldman.
Orbillo was very angry and Marshall said to Wall: "If you ever do that again, Joey Orbillo siad he s coming to you and punch your face in!"
Wall was afraid and backed down.
So basically he wanted to say Bruce Lee was a kind guy like Harvey Weinstein, and that id...iot (sorry RiP but...) Bob Wall allowed Goldman to interview him (Wall), and Goldman did the interview like this:
Goldman: "Ive heard Mr Bruce Lee was a violent man / abusive towards women / etc. etc."
Wall: "Yes thats true."
I cant prove it was like that!
Only so much:
Wall was never a true friend of Lee!
Type in the searchbox:
Bruce Lee Tracking the Dragon Part 3
and the interview s gonna show up when Tan speaks about it. Watch it, you wont regret it. Maybe you gonna do a video about this rare account from George Tan too. Since 90% of Bruce Lee fans dont know about that incidient, i mean Wall spoke with such a swine like Goldman, and Orbillo threaten Wall to punch his face in, and Wall sh.. his pants.
Very clean information brother!
@@weiwilsonmiranda596 👍
Looks like Jim Kelly was on security duty watching Bob wall
Cheers for the info, mate, I appreciate it. I'll try to track down the interview with Stephen "Wonder Boy" Thompson (I'm a fan) 👍
100% mate 👍
All I can say Bruce Lee is the Master ,, a lot of people envy him 😉
So funny. Keep up the Fab content Stripey.
Great video mate,
Have you seen Bruce Willow's Podcast with Bob Wall? Bob subscribed to the John Ford philosophy of "Why give them the truth, when you can give them the legend"
Bob's appearance on the BW Podcast is pretty cringey and hard to sit through, he takes credit for a lot of the casting on ETD, film locations, he even disses Jim Kelly a few times.
Joe lost out on a potential Hollywood career that Chuck enjoyed whereas Joe gave seminar' s under the banner of "What I learned from Bruce"
Could I suggest a follow-up video raising these stories?
Keep up the excellent work mate!
Mark
Wow!!!! I can't believe these guys.
It’s funny because Joe backed away when he went over Bruce’s house looking for a fight and when Bruce had enough of his bs he said let’s go, Joe backed off and walked away. So it’s amusing hearing this but also annoying.
Thank you for posting!
Thank you stripey
& clearly n precisely enumerate th content n context of wat people claim 2b but they are APPARAPPARENTLY NOT...e.g. m j white, joe louis, chuck norris bob w & so on...May be bcoz they are:

2. Greedy n pride...

Bob Wall's stories are as false as his hairline 😂
😂🤣😂
It kind of surprises me Bob Wall & Steven Seagal didn't get along better, they really had so much in common: both pathological liars, both sporting obviously fake hair, both legends in their own minds, maybe they were too much alike!
@@BRUCEJJ66Seagal always praised Bruce Lee and his family. Bob Wall is way, way more of a fraudulent liar than Seagal.
Bob also spread the false Gene Lebell chokeout story for years shamelessly.
Bob also claimed he "knocked out" Royce Gracie a few years before UFC 1, lol.
And teeth🤣😂😆😁
@@BRUCEJJ66 Bob Wall is way worse of a liar than Seagal. Seagal never spent 30 years slandering another martial artist spreading falsehoods about them to make himself look better.
In contrast, Gene and Bob Wall willingly did that, and didn't get exposed about it until eyewitnesses set the record straight.
They would never say that to Bruce Lee s face now would they? Only years after he's death they say it?
Steve McQueen? Not brother
Oh and he called me Will the junkie West who makes up lies about him while I'm off my head on drugs haha dude you're on video saying the things I'm asking you about 😂
A bit like Alan Canvan- the thinnest of egos
Mad. I subbed awhile ago and it unsubbed me. Really enjoy your content. Im a london boy myself and was a hardcore BL fan back in the mid 80s.
If there is an afterlife then I'm willing to bet Bob is creeping round Bruce 😂😂
That Game of death comment is unbelievable 😂😂 I think he was jealous of Bruce if the truth be known.
Have a great weekend brother Stripey 👍 🙏
I think a lot of Bruce's associates (not what I'd call a friend) were jealous.
You, too, have a good weekend, bud 👍
BOB WALL WAS PATHETIC AS A MARTIAL ARTIST AND I'VE SEEN JOE LEWIS'S MOVIE'S
REALLY BAD!!!!!!!!
ENVY ENVY ENVY. They sound too ridiculous. Why wouldn’t they say that when he was alive??? Because they knew better not to. SMH
Green with you totally Stripey 😊
Trained with Joe Lewis in a few classes in Wilmington NC… “interesting” guy.
Thank you Bud.
I doubt what you are saying! Kelly would have spared with bruce. He even said that he did, so your statement is invalid!
Just found the clip of Bruce sweeping Bob, it on Charles Damiano’s RUclips channel.
