Stripey over the last year you have renewed my love of Bruce Lee that started in the early 80s. I'm back buying the books renewing my blu rays to the Arrow releases and loving every minute. Thankyou, keep up the good work.
Im so glad your channel exists, im 24 and a girl its hard to find people my age who love Bruce Lee as much as I do. I was 4 years old when my dad handed me a vhs of Bruce lees film, first time I’ve ever seen a movie,I had just come to America (I was originally born in Europe, didn’t meet my father till I was 4 and he brought me and my mother to the states)and I didn’t know English. I would get bullied in kindergarten but It didn’t matter once I went home and watched Bruce Lee. As a little girl I didn’t realize his movies were made decades ago or know he was dead until my dad told me a few months later. I was so shattered. His death still saddens me
There's two things I didn't know. Linda as a party guest and the light that's seen in the nunchaku scene. I guess you learn something new everyday. Thanks for these.
Here's a little something else I'm not sure everyone knows about. Not only did Linda had that cameo of the banquet scene, but she had yet another cameo that I found out about almost a year ago. She was also in the Williams vs Han scene. She was the only one wearing the dark sunglasses.
Excellent job! After watching ENTER THE DRAGON many many times over the decades.... I thought I wouldn't be surprised. I was WRONG....I did learn a few things I didn't know. Keep up the GREAT work. Love it! Hugs from Okinawa.. :)
Bruce directing in the right hand corner. Linda in the movie. Silhouette of camera. Last on screen footage of Bruce. Wow, man. Those facts are new ones on me, mate. Awesome video. Thanks for hilighting these. How about doing this with the other films, Stripey? Go on. You know you want to!

Hi Stripey, nice video mate. I'm currently reading Matthew Polly's book "A Life" and in that it says that Bruce Lee asked Chuck Norris to play O'Hara and he declined. It goes on to say that Bruce teased him a bit by saying, "I'll ask Bob Wall!", to which Norris replied, "I'm sure Bob will do a great job."
Hey Bud, I read that about Chuck in Matthew's book. The Bob Baker info I found out recently & we know B Baker was very close to Bruce. Interesting stuff, tho. Cheers buddy 👍

Good facts! I can add a few to those 10 : 11) An alternative opening with girls on motorcycles from Han's Island delivering invitations to the tournament was filmed. 12) Many scenes required multiple takes but after the opening fight with Sammo Hung when Yuen Wah doubles for Bruce to do the somersault over the monks arms, they almost got it in first take but unfortunately Yuen farted loudly as he was somersaulting which caused the monks in shot to laugh very hard and move more than they were supposed to, so a second take was done which captured the perfect shot. 13) A scene with Betty Chung fighting the guards was choreographed by Bruce Lee and filmed. That is fact despite people like Andre Morgan claiming they just took publicity photos and never choreographed or filmed a fight scene, remember Andre has a good memory but recalling every fact from every film he has ever worked on would require the world's best memory! Also people like Andre were on the set a lot but not there every single minute.
What an amazing channel , i love your knowledge and research. Keep the video's coming. My Dad introduce me to Bruce Lee movies in the 1980's. My Dad passed away two years a go but watching video's like this with huge passion to learn more helps a lot. Like my Dad and people like Bruce Lee we must continue to learn after they have gone.
I read somewhere that the hall of mirrors scene was inspired by a scene in the 1947 Orson Wells movie The Lady from Shanghai. Great video Stripey! Please do Bruce's other movies!
Interesting, mate. I've not heard of the Orsen Wells trivia. I will do Bruce's other films, it opens up some cool dialogue in the comments. Cheers bud 👍
Nice video, Stripey! I first saw Enter The Dragon in 1979 or 1980, I've been reading everything I could get my hands on about the making of this movie ever since, thought I knew pretty much everything anyone had ever publicly said about it, but I'd never before heard that bit about Bruce wanting Bob Baker to play O'Hara or that bit about Linda Lee having a cameo in the movie! I'm definitely going to have to pop in my 4K version (despite being disappointed with how little effort Warner Bros put into making it something really special, I eventually gave in & bought the 4K version) & try to spot Linda, see if I can recognize her. As for the idea Of Bob Baker playing O'Hara, I think Bob Wall was a better choice overall. Judging by Baker's performance in Fist Of Fury/Chinese Connection, I think Bob Wall had more visually impressive kicking skills, he looked more formidable in my opinion. I do wish a longer version of the Lee vs O'Hara fight had made the final cut of the movie, if you look through behind the scenes photos of the making of their fight scene it's obvious Bruce choreographed a more complex scene than what we got. For example, when Bruce throws his spinning heel kick at Bob why does Bob raise his leg as if to block a mid level kick? Because, as seen in stills, Bruce had choreographed himself throwing lower spinning back kicks at Bob to the mid-section, even the groin (ouch!), I think they filmed Bruce using those lower kicks to set up the high kick attacks but someone (Bob Clouse, perhaps?) thought the fight scene was too long & cut some action out. Just an opinion, of course, but the behind the scenes pictures seem to support it.
If you look closely during the opening credits of ETD, you'll spot a lady in yellow riding a motorcycle in a few shots. There was a deleted scene where a lady in yellow rode around HK on a motorcycle and gave the main three characters the invitations for the tournament, which would then lead into the credits.
Wonderful trivia.... Thanks for the enlightenment ! 👏 I had never noticed most of these, despite watching ETD fourteen times on the big screen, year on year and countless times on the DVD. The learnings should continue on and on.... ETD is never done. 👍
I read that character actor William Smith was slated to play Roper-but at 6'4, The DRAGON vetoed the idea of"standing on an apple box" the entirety of the shoot.
Hey stripey hope you are well my friend, enter the dragon my favourite bruce lee movie, introduced to Bruce Lee in ETD back in the early 80s, i remember my father recording it for me because I was in school the next morning, and it was totally uncut, no monk scene of course, but that original version is my favourite version, ohh and bruce also used his real voice, in longstreet, i know every single word of dialogue from ETD, that is the movie that made me start taekondo and kenpo for15yrs, my father loved fist of fury, great video as always mate, support always from Ireland 🇮🇪💯🇮🇪👊🤜🤛#1940to1973 #brucelee #ENTERTHEDRAGON #BloodAndSteel #HansIsland
Wow... simply amazing my friend! I didn't notice most of these details specially Linda's cameo and Jackie's third stunt. Thank you for another great video. Best regards! ✌️👊😆
Another awesome video…. Thanks for that I never knew the Linda appearance at Hans party👍🏻 and Bruce directing the guy in white and black I will be watching out for these in the future… and that shadow lol wow how did we miss that … happy Easter my friend and to all the subscribers 🤙🏻
Another great video, fantastic. I did not know about Linda Lee Caldwell cameo wow!! Today is Linda Lee Caldwell birthday March 21. And Bruce Lee in the courtyard scene.. wow.... stripey you are doing a fantastic job , keep up the good work. 👍
Wow! I can't believe I've watched Enter The Dragon over a hundred times, and have never seen that light's shadow, or Bruce, directing the fighting 😮 I love your channel, Mate. Keep up the great work 👍
I was like " this guy's not gonna tell me anything I don't already know" and then you blew me away with that edit mistake of Lee directing the big rumble and Linda's cameo!!!! Crazy stuff! Thnx for that
the triva about that the mirror scene is not be original idea (Charlie Chapin did it first) is a new fun fact I did not know. Thank you so much, Stripey-san. The pleasure to see footage of Bruce is always a delight, but to learn new triva...that makes the experience all the better! Coninued success in all you understake
i was a bruce lee fan when i was growing up in the eighties and there was a lot of things about bruce and his movies i did not know till i was a grown up. way of the dragon was my very first movie and boy, i watched it every day. when it comes to enter the dragon, i was still underage and couldnt rent vhs´s from the store, so i gave my mom a note so she could get it from me, lovely memories. tons i didnt know until i had internet, for example, yuen wah´s and jackie chan´s involvement. and for some reason i have never recognized sammo although i have known every hongkong movies with him and jc. and linda, i´m 50 now and did not knew that, funny fact. thank you so much for putting this video into your channel, and that from someone who´s been a lee fan and again didnt knew it lol. a big HI from Berlin, Germany!
Great video, so many things I didn’t know when I thought I did. The Linda cameo was a new one on me. Probably going to reread the making of enter the dragon, a great read if you have it. Thank you
very intresting information that shadow of the a spotlight, you got me on that one, i never realized it bay logen cheers to him, i thought it was going to be another one ,I have been collecting for 50 years and you taught me something thanks and linda lee apearing as an extra that blew me away
Great video as always Stripey, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen the film and you’ve given me another reason to watch it again as a few of the things you’ve pointed out I’ve not noticed 👍
Another good video Stripey When Bruce is on the screen To this day I’m too magnetised to take my eyes off him I look forward to you doing a video like this for the “Way of the Dragon “ There is one scene with Nora Miao which always brings a smile to my face
Great information as always Stripey. I knew quite a few of them but didnt know about the one in the big fight were bruce was directing everyone. Thanks for that cheers.
I knew many of the items on your list but was very surprised at what I did not know. I have a feeling you might have another 10 more for a sequence/part two to this video. Anyway, great way to start the weekend. You take care too, thanks!
Come on Stripey... We want to see that nunchaku routine 👍😊 Have you seen the ninja films with Scott Adkins? Bob Wall had a small part and his character was called O'hara 😂 Have a great weekend my friend. 👍
And the title for Enter the Dragon was originally used by Bruce Lee for his directorial debut movie The Way of the Dragon this was evident in his phone interview with Alex Ben Block kindly check thanks a lot great video sir
I saw James Garner talk about Bruce Lee once -- both he and I think it was James Coburn were on the Dinah Shore Show and Dinah mentioned them both knowing Bruce. Garner said on the set of Marlowe, Bruce would tell him to stand perfectly still and then pluck his tie out of his jacket with a roundhouse kick...
Think Bob Baker would’ve made a great O’Hara Never heard the Williams casting details before. Didn’t know Linda was on screen Never saw the lighting shadow before now Also didn’t see Bruce directing the battle scene and the background on the hall of mirrors Excellent video
Great video stripey , I knew 9 of these but I had no idea that Linda lee played a cameo, thanks for this , I love hearing more knowledge about the great Bruce lee. 🙏🏻👍🏻☺️
Every time you say most of you know I didn't know, haha! Great to see all the new stuff I didn't know. I might say the Chaplin mirrored room is a bit of a stretch mind. Just cause it's been done before doesn't mean people have seen it. I've never seen the Chaplin scene before. Great vid and many thanks for all the work you do!
Hello, love your content. I was wondering if you ever came across the bruce lee limited edition seiko watch. Would love to get your thoughts on it and possibly make a video review. Thank you!
Amazing trivia Stripey. A few I knew and a few I didn't - and that made it fun. The mirrors scene was claimed by Robert Clouse to be his idea in his book ' The making of Enter The Dragon'. He said his wife was shopping in a boutique in hong kong and there were mirrors inside that fragmented her reflection. That gave him the idea. He said that he had been frustrated with coming up with a good scenario to end the film on. He goes into a great deal of detail on how they shot the hall of mirrors scene. Clouse said he stood Bruce six inches from Shih Kiens face and asked Bruce to kick towards his head. Bruce replied " Thats ridiculous, my foot will be three feet behind his head!, I'll look stupid!" Clouse then replied " yes it will be three feet behind him but not in the mirrors" Once Bruce saw the dailies he was convinced and loved the mirror idea. Clouse also said he had been accused of nicking the idea from ' The Lady from Shanghai' starring Orson Welles ( well worth a watch by the way) Clouse said he had never seen the film.
Back tracking on the hall of mirrors scene,Bruce didn't want to do it,thought it was a silly idea and he'd look stupid. The director had to talk Lee into doing it any way,so Bruce did the scene and LOVED it. LOL. He loved it so much he went and did more film footage with a camera crew. Thanks for the informative video, there were plenty of things I learned about this classic film. Been practicing huh ??? Man,you come right out of a comicbook.
Thanks for the video. The foam inside Bruce's sock before kicking O'Hara in the neck . There's also an extra with the dark suit chilling on the floor during the fight between the lads wearing white and dark suits. Just noticed this while watching the recent HD version of ETD.
Yep, the padding in Bruce's sock before he throws the round kick to Bob's head/neck, I remember noticing that decades back while watching Enter on vhs. Of course I watched (as I'm sure many Bruce fans did) Bruce's fight scenes in slow motion, frame by frame, over & over again, naturally you'd eventually spot little oddities like that (& the two extras laughing in the background as Bruce did his multiple round kicks to one of Han's guards). You have to give Bob Wall at least a little credit for being willing to take a solid shot from Bruce with only a little foam between his neck & Bruce's foot!
Another fact is Keye Luke was the voice for Shih Kien (Mr Han) in the movie. Keye Luke was also the voice for the old man who was explaining to Bruce how his sister was assaulted by O’Hara and his goons.
Didn't know the 'Linda Lee', 'Bob Baker', the light shadow or the Bruce in the big battle. Nice one Stripey. My observation would be the level of John Saxons drink during the banquet changes when Bruce nods to him.
What I Find Amazing when i think about those Prisoners coming out to fight , there was a lot of them , those cells almost look like that they could not hold that many people . The Mirrors i have been in some Carnivals, there were buildings called the fun house some mirrors in some carnivals or house of mirrors would make your images look funny , and I have been in some the mirrors just reflect your image and could you see to the out side where you came in from, from some carnivals, i could never get all the through i just would back out the front door .
Hey Stripey Rambles like your vids on Bruce u definitely taught me a thing or 2 I didn't take to kindly to how bob Wahl was showing OFF but he was in the game of death he was the boxer the old man bruce killed
I always look for the one where the extra starts laughing in the background after Bruce does the multi kick. Did not know the Linda cameo one and like you seen the film a lot and collected multiple versions over the years
Great video ! Here is 1 more Ropers opponent Tony Lui ! is the only actor alive today Who has appeared Onscreen in all of Lee's 4 Completed Movies ! ❤🙏
@@StripeyRand also had Bruce was still ALIVE before he passed away. Had the Game of Death was being completed. Tony Liu was listed in the casting of the movie.
Great stuff Stripey, like yourself I've watched Enter The Dragon at least 100 times over the years, and these little nuggets of info will make me watch out for them even closer now. Some I knew of, some not. Good fun to look for them though! Yep, Rockne Tarkington MUST regret turning down the Williams role, btw didn't Robert Clouse direct Melinda too? Also, do you know if Bruce recorded any English dialogue for Boss, Fist, Way, and Game, or were they all later looped after shooting into Cantonese/Mandarin? Maybe not, as the first 3 Bruce Lee films were never intended for an international audience, and were shot without sound as far as I know. Would be cool to hear Bruce's real voice though. Enjoy your weekend, and keep these videos coming! Cheers Stripey!
Liked your in-depth research and great presentation... don't confine yourself to the great Bruce Lee... pick other movies and stars and give them your treatment, which will be fun to see.
I love hearing Bruce's voice in Enter the Dragon. Such a shame we can't get to hear it on his other movies. Maybe with the advent of AI - will there be new dubbings at some point with Bruce's voice!? Could it happen? Should it!? lol
@StripeyR I did not know about Linda Lee in ETD! Let us short call her "LL". As for the light shadow during Lee nunchucking, well we can image that as light device (and not one of the camera crew's light device) on a good spot in the den as light devices would be in such central spots. So, that movie mistake can be disguised and dismissed. As for Lee directing while Han standing behind him, that too we can do a little imagination and dismiss the movie mistake. We can imagine Lee's character giving orders to the black clothing guys to fight and destroy all the white clothing guys just like Han gives direction or orders to the white clothing guys to finish off Lee and Roper few mins earlier. As for Han standing behind Lee, we can imagine Han and Lee's fighting got disturbed by the arrival of hundreds of black clothing guys and Han standing behind Lee is a portrayal of Han in full shock and all frozen seeing his little island going in a mess all out of his control, thanks to Lee and Roper! We can then imagine, both Lee and Han characters pulled themselves up from the shock and resumed their fight. Again, the movie flaw can be disguised as such and dismissed. As for Jackie Chan (JC) attacking Lee thrice pretending to be 3 different characters, the last attack was news to me as I did not know Lee also nun chucks him at the end.
🔥 video again. I actually had no idea that Jackie was the last guy to get hit by the nunchucks. Would you ever do a vid on Battle Creek Brawl? That a very underrated movie and I think it nearly as good as enter the dragon but gets way too much hate.
Hi there Stripey thank you for this amazing video. I am 65 years young and have been following Bruce since January 1974 when Enter the dragon was released in the UK. I was really surprised that I have never noticed the lighting rig in the background of the Nuchuks scene and Bruce in the background of the big battle, pure magic. I apologise for the further delay in getting the OST Album covers and inlays off to you, this was due to a health concern, I am now back on my feet and have just completed the images. May I ask how I can send them to you as I do not see any icon to attach these images to my comments. Please keep up the fantastic work that you do as I love them all as well as your musical rambles. Once I get the images off to you I would like to show you my poster collection and then the magazine and book collection and physical media if this is okay with you. Kindest regards and thank from The Mad Scotsman George Brannan
Stripey great review. Here are a couple of other items you may want to know 1) Girl on Motorcycle in the opening credits delivering the tournament invitations 2) Jackie Chan again with the group of thugs with Angela Mao 3) Cat is facing backwards then faces forward when Roper takes it off the Guillotine 4) Hand losing his glove and they it reappears in the Museum fight scene as they both jump up in the air 5) Mirror Room Door spins counter clockwise as Bruce enters and closes clockwise when he is in the mirror room 6) Linda Lee is the girl who glasses break when Han is fighting Williams (Not sure on this one) Also I did a whole review on the music score changes from 1973 version and the 2013 version enjoy. ruclips.net/video/0iPZ0Lwu1a4/видео.html
Cheers, bud. There are some interesting points there, mate. I'm not sure about Linda/ broken glasses either. I'll check out your video later pal 👍 thanks
Good video Stripey! I’m a big Bruce Lee fan, and seen Enter the Dragon 100s of times, but I probably only knew 3 or 4 of the 10 things you pointed out. Was interesting! Also - did you go on the Hong Kong tour with the KFG?? I would love to do this!
Hi Stripey, great concept short video 👍🏽 I've got 8/10, didn't know about Linda's cameo and the obvious Lights. 😊 According to R.C, Bruce didn't really believe in the concept of mirrors & complained about the reflections which gave him migraines. what I believe is that R.C wanted to show Bruce as a diva... do you have any info on this? - Now who wants a Stripey's ETD Nunchuk routine ? - Me 😁
I certainly have learned something new today! I didn't know about Linda in the purple dress, certainly didn't see the light shadow and didn't even see Bruce directing on the far right!! Jeeze I must have had my eyes closed while watching it!!!😊 I'll be watching ETD at the weekend with my eyes peeled!!The other thing I didn't know was Yang Tze changing his name to Bolo Yeung, apologies if I have spelled his name wrong. Whenever I hear someone on the TV calling him Bolo I'd be shouting that's not his name!!! Now I know😊 Thank you again Stripey, another video I really enjoyed 👍✌️
@StripeyR It is your lucky day today as I found the movie I talked about in my other comment! Found it in youtube. "Here comes the bride". I have not seen the movie in full, nor Marlow, nor Long Street. Just bits. Only seen full Lee's 5 martial art ones. On your next video, tell us which ones of Lee's movies you have seen in full and when, apart from his 5 best action movies. Ok ?
Love your channel and this was another cool video. As a die hard Lee fan I was not aware of few of the trivia you shared, esp the Chaplin movie scene. Your Bruce Lee T-shirts are awesome. Do you get them customised ? 😊🐉

Awesome, bud. I'm glad you got something from this video. Cheers bud 👍
I was like " this guy's not gonna tell me anything I don't already know" and then you blew me away with that edit mistake of Lee directing the big rumble and Linda's cameo!!!!
Crazy stuff!
Thnx for that
Stripey…you are a diamond geezer!
Nice Stripey thanks for the video on the button + Linda’s other small part as well was her sitting with the smash glasses once again thanks
Thank you for these ten things I'm a big fan and it's always interesting to know more about that movie and the people in it thank you
I love your content! I've studied martial arts and Bruce Lee for most of my life, but you showed me some new nuggets. Thank you!
the triva about that the mirror scene is not be original idea (Charlie Chapin did it first) is a new fun fact I did not know. Thank you so much, Stripey-san. The pleasure to see footage of Bruce is always a delight, but to learn new triva...that makes the experience all the better!
Coninued success in all you understake
@@normanlee6609 thank you 👍
Good afternoon I am a big-time diehard, Bruce Lee fan and you show me four things. I never knew great job!!!😎🤙🏼
@@RafaelDiaz-gz4yj Thank you 👍
i was a bruce lee fan when i was growing up in the eighties and there was a lot of things about bruce and his movies i did not know till i was a grown up. way of the dragon was my very first movie and boy, i watched it every day.
when it comes to enter the dragon, i was still underage and couldnt rent vhs´s from the store, so i gave my mom a note so she could get it from me, lovely memories. tons i didnt know until i had internet, for example, yuen wah´s and jackie chan´s involvement. and for some reason i have never recognized sammo although i have known every hongkong movies with him and jc.
and linda, i´m 50 now and did not knew that, funny fact.
thank you so much for putting this video into your channel, and that from someone who´s been a lee fan and again didnt knew it lol. a big HI from Berlin, Germany!
Great video stripey,,thanks for the ETD info 👍
always love to learn new things , i will need to go back and watch Enter The Dragon , thanks Stripey
Great video, so many things I didn’t know when I thought I did. The Linda cameo was a new one on me. Probably going to reread the making of enter the dragon, a great read if you have it. Thank you
Jackie was also one of the men who attacked Bruce's sister.
Mate, you do know your audience 👍🏼
Greetings from Kuwait 🇰🇼
very intresting information that shadow of the a spotlight, you got me on that one, i never realized it bay logen cheers to him, i thought it was going to be another one ,I have been collecting for 50 years and you taught me something thanks and linda lee apearing as an extra that blew me away
Great video as always Stripey, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve seen the film and you’ve given me another reason to watch it again as a few of the things you’ve pointed out I’ve not noticed 👍
Never knew about Linda Lee being in Enter the Dragon!
Absolutely brilliant m8 few of them I didn't know
Cool Bruce Lee shirt Stripey.
Melinda and Black Sampson Fantastic films a must watch
I will be checking them out fella 👍
Another good video Stripey
When Bruce is on the screen
To this day I’m too magnetised to take my eyes off him
I look forward to you doing a video like this for the “Way of the Dragon “
There is one scene with Nora Miao which always brings a smile to my face
Cheers bud. I will look into 10 things on Bruce's other movies. It opens up an interesting dialogue in the comment section & I learn new stuff 👍
Something (light) for the weekend, Sir?
I did not know any of this information so I learned a lot of interesting new stuff. 👍🏻
Cheers my friend. 🙏🏻
Love this channel. You deserve loads more subs bruv
I feel enter the dragon the most violent martial art movie
No way!!!!
Come on Stripey... We want to see that nunchaku routine 👍😊 Have you seen the ninja films with Scott Adkins? Bob Wall had a small part and his character was called O'hara 😂 Have a great weekend my friend. 👍
Hi Stripey. Very enjoyable episode. I got 7/10, the smile, the light and Bruce directing on the right being new to me. 😀👊🏻🐉
Cheers Pal. I'm glad you got something from watching this 👍
And the title for
Enter the Dragon
was originally used by Bruce Lee for his directorial debut movie
The Way of the Dragon
this was evident in his phone
interview with Alex Ben Block kindly check thanks a lot great video sir
Stripey,
Being a B.L fan for
over 50 years I guess I did learn something new..I wasn't aware of the Linda cameo...Thanks for the enlightenment...✌☯️
Interesting, I will definitely check that out. Thank you 👍
Think Bob Baker would’ve made a great O’Hara
Never heard the Williams casting details before.
Didn’t know Linda was on screen
Never saw the lighting shadow before now
Also didn’t see Bruce directing the battle scene and the background on the hall of mirrors
Excellent video
I did not know all of This, great Thanks. Do the other movie!
Great video stripey , I knew 9 of these but I had no idea that Linda lee played a cameo, thanks for this , I love hearing more knowledge about the great Bruce lee. 🙏🏻👍🏻☺️
Cheers Bud 👍
Love your content, Stripey! Definitely learned something(s) new!
100 % agreed Stripey really enjoyed your stuff
Even when I know the stuff I still watch cuz it’s about Bruce 😂 keep it comin !
I knew some but I've learnt a lot thank you so much
Every time you say most of you know I didn't know, haha! Great to see all the new stuff I didn't know.
I might say the Chaplin mirrored room is a bit of a stretch mind. Just cause it's been done before doesn't mean people have seen it. I've never seen the Chaplin scene before.
Great vid and many thanks for all the work you do!
Someone may have already mentioned, but there's also a famous mirror scene in Lady From Shanghai (1947) by Orson Welles.
Great work Stripey...
🙏 can you do the nunchuck routine in up coming vids? As enjoyed the other one. Cheers 😊
Re: Hall of Mirrors, it’s really Orson Welles’ ‘Lady from Shanghai.’
Fascinating as usual stripey great job
Some stuff I never knew…brilliant
Didn't know the 'Linda Lee', 'Bob Baker', the light shadow or the Bruce in the big battle. Nice one Stripey. My observation would be the level of John Saxons drink during the banquet changes when Bruce nods to him.
Excellent, mate, I'm glad you got something from this video Cheers, bud 👍
Great stuff, didnt know some of them although I‘m a bruce hardliner too
What I Find Amazing when i think about those Prisoners coming out to fight , there was a lot of them , those cells almost look like that they could not hold that many people .
Did not know the Linda cameo one and like you seen the film a lot and collected multiple versions over the years
I alway notice the laughing guard too. Cheers 👍
Great video ! Here is 1 more Ropers opponent Tony Lui ! is the only actor alive today Who has appeared Onscreen in all of Lee's 4 Completed Movies ! ❤🙏
That's correct, mate. Tony Liu is in all of Bruce's movies 👍
@@StripeyRand also had Bruce was still ALIVE before he passed away. Had the Game of Death was being completed. Tony Liu was listed in the casting of the movie.
Tony was Bruce's childhood friend. Very cool that they remained friends at the height of Bruce's success.
Original title for ETD was Blood and Steel Bruce changed it
Makes me want to watch enter the dragon now, see if I can notice any of them.
Bruce Lee + James Garner... in Marlowe. Great stuff.
Should it!? lol
@StripeyR
I did not know about Linda Lee in ETD!
There's also a brillint mirror scene in Orson Welles' "The Lady from Shanghai" (1947) ~ but not a fight scene ~
Stripey great review. Here are a couple of other items you may want to know
1) Girl on Motorcycle in the opening credits delivering the tournament invitations
2) Jackie Chan again with the group of thugs with Angela Mao
3) Cat is facing backwards then faces forward when Roper takes it off the Guillotine
4) Hand losing his glove and they it reappears in the Museum fight scene as they both jump up in the air
5) Mirror Room Door spins counter clockwise as Bruce enters and closes clockwise when he is in the mirror room
6) Linda Lee is the girl who glasses break when Han is fighting Williams (Not sure on this one)
Also I did a whole review on the music score changes from 1973 version and the 2013 version enjoy.

Hi Stripey, great concept short video 👍🏽
I've got 8/10, didn't know about Linda's cameo and the obvious Lights. 😊
According to R.C, Bruce didn't really believe in the concept of mirrors & complained about the reflections which gave him migraines. what I believe is that R.C wanted to show Bruce as a diva... do you have any info on this?
- Now who wants a Stripey's ETD Nunchuk routine ?
- Me 😁
I certainly have learned something new today!
I didn't know about Linda in the purple dress, certainly didn't see the light shadow and didn't even see Bruce directing on the far right!! Jeeze I must have had my eyes closed while watching it!!!😊
I'll be watching ETD at the weekend with my eyes peeled!!The other thing I didn't know was Yang Tze changing his name to Bolo Yeung, apologies if I have spelled his name wrong. Whenever I hear someone on the TV calling him Bolo I'd be shouting that's not his name!!! Now I know😊
Thank you again Stripey, another video I really enjoyed 👍✌️
Thank you, I'm glad you got something from this video. I will look into 10 things on Bruce's other movies 😉
Have a good weekend 👍
@@StripeyR Great looking forward to those✌️
Have a great weekend yourself 😊 x
@StripeyR
It is your lucky day today as I found the movie I talked about in my other comment!
Ok ?
Longstreet & Here Comes the Brides we're TV series, I have seen all the episodes with Bruce in 👍
Love your channel and this was another cool video. As a die hard Lee fan I was not aware of few of the trivia you shared, esp the Chaplin movie scene.
Your Bruce Lee T-shirts are awesome. Do you get them customised ? 😊🐉
Learned a lot Stripey!!!
