- Welcome to my annual collection video! There are 1250+ cars of 1:18 scale or larger. I focus on brands like AutoArt, CMC, Exoto, Norev, Otto, BOS and GT Spirit. This year, there is a DUST-trigger warning! Instead of cleaning 1000 cars, I spent my time making the surprise reveal. So please, watch the whole thing!

I have a pretty good 1/18 collection but I had to set inclusion standards. They are: I had to own one full size. I had to see them race - with right number, . (I grew up at Riverside, now Fontana and Laguna Seca) any movie car, I have also 1 Corvette, 3 Porsches, Fairlane GTA, 2 VWs full size. Your collection is inclusive. I am 77 now and quit buying. Just enjoy looking. I also collect Lionel trains.

Wow, what a collection, very impressive. I was watching this because I'm thinking of getting into 1:18 and just wanted to look at specific cars to get an idea of where to start. I'll probably stay within 10 or 20 range for space. After about 1000+ cars I think it would be hard for me to convince myself I wasn't a completionist, but I'm not knocking your passion. I really like the museum idea, because so many classic cars are slowly fading away, and much of the aesthetic that made cars special will be lost to the 60s-00s if more care isn't taken. Sometimes you just wanna see something without having to commit money to it, or staring at a JPG on the internet or a picture in a book. When you do get to the museum, spend plenty of effort on the car titles and descriptions, and allow for 360-degree viewing when possible. My comment is long so it's not just me saying "Cool collection" and leaving, I watched all the way through and appreciate you putting it all into one video.
Nice collection just like an actual Car show. Vast array of different makes and models and years. Excellent job. Personal favorite is the Postal LLV🤣

I use to have the Auto art acura rsx type r i guess it was called but gave it to a friend , i'm currently waiting for a lambo reventon i found on e bay ...can't wait !.
Amazing collection. With probably the largest 1:18 scale collections that I've seen on RUclips (or anywhere else for that matter), do you know whether any brand ever produced in 1:18 scale the Sunbeam Alpine and/or the LaSalle Funeral Coach that featured in James Bond's "Dr No" in 1962? Thanks, Craig
@@craighunt3552 I have never seen the Alpine made in 1:18. There is a Cadillac branded early hearse but it has ornate carvings. The brand is Precision Miniatures.

How much have you invested in the cars?And how much in the Displays boxes.
Shelving, etc. This is a good film to have just for fire insurance purposes. How much do you think your collection is worth now? I believe they go up in value over time. I saw some I will seek out now that i know they are out there.
Iroc Z is there, it's by SunStar. I have it insured for its replacement value of $250k which is pretty accurate. I have much less invested as I bought many during the hey-dey of $20-40 AutoArts lol.

No earthquakes of note in Michigan lol. I also have little rubber stoppers under cars that are extra sketchy in how "roll-y" they are lol.

Hi, whare do you sell your fixer uppers? I had a massive collection like this a few years ago till one year I was on holiday came back n they were all gone! I've not started a collection again since but wanting to now! It hurt alot seeing empty shelving units!

I still have about 60 cars left from returns from a online diecast store. We bought 400 cars there two years ago.

BatMobile's came from a variety of sources from eBay to Amazon. They are Hotwheels base and Hotwheels Elites

I typically buy 50-75 cars a year. The first car I KEPT in the box was my black '93 Mazda RX-7 when I was 16.

Thanks! So far, that's not my thing. I like to have the best model of stock/original cars. The only exceptions are race cars and the movie/TV section.

Cheapest in terms of value? Probably $25, highest $1000.

Do you ever pull some out and just play with them?
Nah. I like details, so sometimes I just open everything up on a particularly detailed one.

What made you start your collection
I've just always been into cars. I was drawing cars at age 5, then came model kits. When I got tired of destroying model kits to make custom cars, I switched to diecast cars which I left alone.

If you go to Costco you pick up some cheap Maisto models you don't have like a 2nd gen Camaro and a Bugatti Divo.
I stopped collecting Maistos and Bburagos and sold them off for space. But yeah, Costco & Sam's are a great place to fill out a collection.

@@beanapalooza6614 I have always thought the south got screwed by the northern regime in that unfair war. I have had a CSA flag on my wall for nearly my whole life. I hate to see it used by racists or thought of as a racist thing. Those men who fought and suffered under that flag were americans to and their efforts should be held in as high a regard as any americans that fought in WW2.

Next time tell us what scale the cars are ass you show them, I like 1/24 and 1/25 cars and trucks
It says so in the title, 1/18. When cars are larger it's noted in the video. I do not have 1/24-1/25 cars.
