@@samfungccim all true, except I'm looking to do this as close to my house as possible, ideally across the street. I also want to build exactly what I want knowing it will be more expensive than finding something and making that work
This was the best 43 mins I have spent today, and the day has just begun in my part of the world. it's always a joy to watch your collection tour, especially with the way you have organized them and the new additions too. I can't wait to see the new museum space, which these cars surely deserve. While you seem to have the majority of the cars and car brands, I do hope that someday you do add the Tata Nano to your collection as well!
I love all the Chinese dealer models you have! I now have about 30 Chinese dealer models from brands like, Mazda, Renault, Kia, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen and they are so detailed
Man, I wish I have the same space and shelves as you do. I collect 1:18 scale as well and I truly have no more room for another model and there are more models I wanna acquire. My man cave is tiny 360 degrees all around is full of 1:18 models. Great model cars and room you have. 👍👍
A wonderful collection..... A good way to clean the cars is with a make up brush for applying blusher.... Very soft and very little risk of damaging anything if done carefully.
I hate dust... my dust... yours is fine with me cause l don't have to clean it 😂 Love your dedication to all brands, no snobbery. I build models & collect diecast of all sizes, not to the size of you. AWESOME VIDEO!
Just a damn great collection!!! Questions from a newb 😌: 1. So dust, yeah, I get it, but what about rash? Are your rooms temp controlled? Do you see a lot of rash? Cause I live in the Caribbean, high humidity and it SUCKS for diecast 🥺. 2. Are you keeping the boxes for ease of moving in the future? Or because you plan to sell? Just wondering... I might throw out all my boxes, they just take too much space. 3. Do tires get flat just storing them like this and not moving/rotating them? Thanks!
@@DiecastNewb 1, it's temp controlled. Rash has not increased from when vehicles were removed from packages years ago. 2. I keep the boxes for value, future proofing and in case of sale. Sometimes I get the same car but by a better brand and locate the box to sell the former. 3. No, tires have been unaffected
@JamesonsDiecastCars nice. Would have loved to have mine temp controlled (and humidity controlled) as well because some are just looking bad... 😫 And only one car seems to have the wheels to flat lol. Got a lot of thinking to do. Thanks! Great stuff.
Wow, Very nice collection! I've been collecting 1/18 scale since 1995! I have around 800 total with hot wheels mixed in! Most of mine are cars from the 30's - 70's! I find price to be an issue at times, like Autoworld is pricey!!! Sam's Club has the better deal at 16.99 for Maisto brand!!! I have some movie cars like Grease and American Graffiti in the original box! I have some John Force muscle cars in the box as well! I've bought over 200 old Ertl cars from the 90's and 2000's!!!! They are in the original boxes and I collect dust too! I've broken several cars trying to dust, so I don't mess with dusting too often!!!! I also have some Route 66 cars from Kmart in the boxes! Again I admire your collection and I like car designs too!!! The electric cars do have some wild body designs, but the cost is rather high for most people!!!
