Forever blown away by your creativity and patience... so cute!!! D: I guess that rule "If you haven't worn it in a year, get rid of it" doesn't apply to you since you can just transform it into something SUPER cute xD Love it April!!! -Glory
Yes I really like that you used something you already have in your wardrobe. I have so many clothes that I like but don't wear because it's just something about them that I don't like. You show that with some imagination and creativity something "meh" can be something "yeah"
Myself I have a bunch of pyjamas and tank tops I don't use anymore and I'm actually planning on doing some macrame out of them. My sister in law hade such beautiful plant holder made of some t-shirt material in macrame.
Hey everyone! I linked my Pattermaking book that I always use for the circle skirt chart, and my sewing supplies in my description box! Let me know if theres anything else you want the link to :)
Wow that’s super cute! I’m doing a wardrobe clean up and there are a loooot of clothes that no longer fit or gone out of fashion. However I realize there are so much I can do to refashion and bring them back to lives! Should be tons of fun and save money and the environment!
So cute, April! I just LOVE the ideas you have for transforming and upcycling clothes. You breathe new life into a garment that would gave probably been at a thrift shop or, eventually, a landfill. Now you have something that you love and that's timeless in shape, color, and design. You impress me, Lady!! 😄
I downsized a distressed my first pair of jeans yesterday. I think they are actually good enough to wear out in public. There are a few parts I have to learn to do better next time but overall they cam out great! Thanks for your sewing tutorials!
April, that looks so friggin cute! I LOVE it! this is one of my favorite ones you've done because the original was awkwardly designed but the final product legit looks like something I could (and 100% WOULD) buy in a store. Great job!!
Hello April. Love all the thrifted transformations you've made. My favorite color is white so love this episode even more...You are gifted girl,,OMG and your hair so so pretty.
hi April, I love your thrifted transformations! Your creativity is so inspiring. I recently purchased a sewing machine and can't wait to try making things on it. Can you include more details about what kinds of stitching you used in your tutorials? Thanks!
Wow that’s so cute and perfect for summer. Also you just made sewing in the loops way easier for me 😂 I always just sewed them in blindly hoping they stayed in place
I really want to try doing this. My sewing skills are relatively advanced, but I feel like owning a dress form makes the process SO much easier. They're quite expensive and I just can't bring myself to buy one!
Recently i bought a dress and the print was really beautiful but the dress didn’t looked very flattering. So i got inspired by you and bought it so I can transform it into something more nice and cute.
I effing love it!!! This is so helpful, too!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I literally had multiple light bulb moments while watching this!! Lol and you make it look so simple and easy!!😲😊😍👍❤👏
Have you ever done a video on the different qualities of expensive high end clothing and cheaper clothing? Like the quality difference between Nordstroms and Forever 21? It'd be nice to know how to gauge what pieces are worth the price and what's just expensive because of sheer name brand
I love the lace up but you know what you could have done-- sewed in the zipper upside down. So the closed end is at the top ...but the lace up really makes the best feature on this top. Well done!

SLICE n RICE thanks girl! 😘
Haha I used that rule to help my mom clean out her closest😆 It's cool that it is an actual technique

Yes! We all have those clothes in our closets lol and we just keep leaving them there for years because we think we might wear it one day haha!

How is your leg doing? Hopefully healing quickly.
coolirpa I am trying to do make my own creations, but I am a much bustier woman. Can you make a video with any tips and tricks for that?
@@laurenskee2665 I second this.
Whoa! Amazing transformation! I always see items at the thrift store that are cute in theory but I have no sewing skills to transform it lol
Fernanda Ruiz it is just practice and patience. I find sewing is mind therapeutic too.
