Nice work guys, some awesome ideas here! I think some rubber grommets (or chamfers) on hard edges to protect cables should be a consideration (ie the holes in the legs and the 90 degree channel into the rear of the desk). Possibly in the future an installable shroud to direct the air from the underside exhausts (either to the right, or the rear of the desk) away from the user. It could slide into place like the motherboard tray. Is there scope for deeper/wider trays for those who wish to build custom watercooling loops? Either way, fantastic work - keep it up!

WOW. This is such a cool concept (almost a reality lol) and I would love to have one! A bit expensive though, maybe you can make a more budget option with a smaller desk and cheaper materials. The desk costs $400 more than my PC!
@@MortalShores If the point is to kickstart it which they didn't and sell more products which they don't then your logic makes zero sense. It's a custom made table. Even if the wood costs 500€ and legs (2 solded together) 200€ each you have a very expensive custom 900€ table. And then 300€ for the job and cables? And how much for shipping for a literal desk? Racing has nothing to do with it. It's about convenience and practicality. Doesn't matter what you put in it. Oh and just for reference it costs approximately 200-250€ inc TAX to buy a SINGLE piece of Oak at this size. But this is a 5 smaller piece wooden plank job reinforced with custom metal sheets not even close to a full slab of wood.
I love desk PCs! This one is the best i've seen yet. But it don't solve one problem that i always see. I agree, the desk pc must have the air intake and outtake underneath the desk itself. But with that you are forced to position the AIO CPU Watercooler facing downwards, and that create bubbles. I was trying to thing of a solution to that, someway that gravity wouldn't get in the way of the position of the tubes, but i can't think of any way. Unless we made that desk thicker, which is worse. Or custom watercooling, which is too complicated for most people who just want a practicle desk pc. If anyone have any ideas, i would love to read it.
Can't believe I'm only seeing this now. Would have backed, perfect desk width and length airflow doesnt seem like an issue. Wondering if they are still running with this and if a UK version was ever in the works.
I like the concept and how it looks, but the reason why I personally wouldn't buy it is due to the bulge from the PC itself, incompatibility with monitor arms, and lack of width options. I have a sit/stand desk and my legs are literally a couple inches from the underside of the top when I'm using my leg rest. I work in IT and have several monitors mounted to an arm. I wouldn't want to go back to using monitor stands, especially when the key point of this desk is to gain more desk space. Due to my work setup, I require a wider desk than what is shown. Also another thing to consider is expandability. I was able to add a third leg to my standing desk and add another section to turn it into an L-desk. Hope this feedback helps with possibly another iteration.
I have to say the design for the concealing cables is very well thought, as now my desk (under part) is like a jungle even though there’s only a few cables. Also the price feels very balance
It's a shame this didn't make it, since it would have been a nice option. If you ever try this again, it'd be really nice if there were an option to use a sit-stand frame, and possibly the ability to integrate an ergonomic keyboard tray.
I think this has a perfect niche in the market for people who don’t want the massive glowing box taking up space, if you took the best elements of the Secret Lab Magnus Pro: Sit / Stand with the integrated power supply, maybe the magnetic mousepad with the caveat that it isn’t too thick so the integrated phone charger still functions, making sure the cable routing has adequate room for mounting monitors, there would be a lot of people who prefer that ecosystem. I really hope this product takes off, gladly give you 2k+ for it.
honestly you could even just make a bare bones under desk system that you install on any standard standing desk and it might be more viable. i looked and all i could find were finicky server rack models or home entertainment models. I just want brackets and a splash sheild on the back side maybe

WOW. This is such a cool concept (almost a reality lol) and I would love to have one! A bit expensive though, maybe you can make a more budget option with a smaller desk and cheaper materials. The desk costs $400 more than my PC!
Putting a $600 PC in this desk is like racing a 1996 honda accord in F1. Yes it will eventually get around the track, but it simply doesnt belong.
@@MortalShores Yeah I know, except not everyone needs a $3000 4090 system, I'm completely fine with my mid range system right now
@@oKokimaru Just like everyone doesnt need this desk for their PC, and doesnt need to comment on the pricing from their skewed POV
Subscribed and hope you guys get more recognition
This but motorized is absolute perfection
Dont slam your desk out of anger, youll break something expensive
Whenever these are available I will be buying one. I’ve always been interested in a build like this!
Can't believe I'm only seeing this now. Would have backed, perfect desk width and length airflow doesnt seem like an issue. Wondering if they are still running with this and if a UK version was ever in the works.
If this would be a standing desk, it would be awesome!
What’s the game plan since it didn’t get funded on Kickstarter?
Also the price feels very balance
yeah was gonna say, i'd love a standing desk option for this the way this cable management is routed is the perfect standing desk pc aio.
Imagine going on an LAN with that. 😂 "I bring my Table with me" hahaha 😂
Love the Design
This is so well designed. I wish I could buy one
Yall should open up the top of the desk, like a car hood. Seems like it would be much more accessible
I'm proud that you were able to achieve this. I want to follow my dreams but there are too many things stopping me. good luck. 🙂
that's actually brilliant
Fantastic video, love the look of the build! keep it up man
Really interesting, no doubt.
It's a shame this didn't make it, since it would have been a nice option. If you ever try this again, it'd be really nice if there were an option to use a sit-stand frame, and possibly the ability to integrate an ergonomic keyboard tray.
I wish i had known about the kickstarter campaign. Id love to have one of these
I think this has a perfect niche in the market for people who don’t want the massive glowing box taking up space, if you took the best elements of the Secret Lab Magnus Pro: Sit / Stand with the integrated power supply, maybe the magnetic mousepad with the caveat that it isn’t too thick so the integrated phone charger still functions, making sure the cable routing has adequate room for mounting monitors, there would be a lot of people who prefer that ecosystem. I really hope this product takes off, gladly give you 2k+ for it.
I'd like to get this but I travel way too often to need this on the fly. Maybe I'll get this when my spare time is fair.
honestly you could even just make a bare bones under desk system that you install on any standard standing desk and it might be more viable. i looked and all i could find were finicky server rack models or home entertainment models. I just want brackets and a splash sheild on the back side maybe
Good idea, maybe we could release something like that as well
A minimalist’s dream.
