You ever get that motor back up and running ? Also when your not using it extended times do you leave motor on the hull on the trailer or take it off? I have similar boat just curios if it’s okay to leave my 670 on or if the weight isn’t good for it. Thanks ?
I haven’t gotten it to my grandpa yet, he’s going to rebuild it, but I also found a cheap replacement that I’m going to try to go pick up. I left it on, my buddy I bought it from left it on, it’s just like any other outboard there’s no issues with leaving it on there for an extended period of time but just like anything else, any stress you can take off it for an extended period of time is going to be beneficial for it
@@TooManyHobbies yeah it’s just a pain to get on and off every weekend so it’s probably just fine to leave on if you hadn’t had any issue with leaving it on. I just was seeing like if it pushed your floor up in spots or something you know stuff like that being heavy all on two bunks! Thanks for the advise
@coltensawyer6761 Oh yeah then don’t worry about it, I haven’t had any issues at all with anything like that. These boats are pretty resilient to abuse lol

So far it’s got low compression on one side…my grandpa offered to tear into it so we’ll see what he finds!
