Yes you need a boat to get to Unit 10, you can either park it on the dike of the channel or pull it over the dike on the rollers and bring it inside the unit

@@TooManyHobbies like there is a designated spot to park a boat at the unit? Is a kayak possible? I wasn't sure how long the ride was lmao. Thanks dude!

Not necessarily a designated spot, just anyway near your unit. There’s signs that say when you’re at the unit, kayak would be a bit of a haul, maybe a 30-40 min paddle, 5-10 mins in a boat

The Hero 8 has been pretty good in low light, you have to remember these GoPros have a very small sensor compared to a full frame mirrorless camera, so you get what you pay for. All things considered, I’ve been happy with the low light on it. I have since switched to a DJI Osmo 4 as my main action camera and it is a little better in low light compared to the Hero 8

Always careful with the kayaks, we usually leave the PFDs in the back of the kayak and if it’s a long paddle we throw them on

Even with pants on they were still loose, not a big deal it just sucks when you have a long walk and they flop back and forth when you step. Still nice boots for the price

I’ve had good luck on the breakwalls this time of year and cooler/moving water. Water is still warm so it’ll be a bit tougher than when I was catching them in the spring but if you find some structure you should be able to pick up some nice ones! If you find some reef structures you can pick up some nice smallmouth too

We had tried to do a hunt together here last year but our schedules didn’t line up, we talked about trying this year as well so we’ll see! He’s a good dude and has a great channel, been a supporter of mine for a few years so I’m grateful for that!

@TooManyHobbies with that new duckwater you can get him birds he's probably never shot at! Even Josh from outdoor limits I was telling him about the lake erie walleye we catch since he's been posting fishing videos take for granted sometimes we have that so close to home

If you fish by yourself a lot, it’s worth being able to go out and troll. But having nice rod holders and setting your boards up to easily get them off are also important
