- Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel Alsace. In today's commentary video, we will be talking about what some might consider being the worst Power Rangers crossover. I've heard people claiming that the Lightspeed Rescue / Lost Galaxy team-up is worse than Legendary Battle, Grid Connection, and Dimensions in Danger.
In this video, we will be reacting to Trakeena's Revenge, and try to figure out why people like Linkara hate it so much. This episode uses a ton of footage from the Go Go V / Gingaman versus movie which might be a major problem for me.

Joel is 100% the best lightspeed ranger, he has way more personality than carter, and also if there is a ranger who wears a cowboy hat on a team they will immediately be my favorite.

I had the DVD with this team-up when I was a kid and watched all the time, was actually the first thing of Lightspeed Rescue I see before watching the whole season. It's one of my favorite Power Rangers crossovers for nostalgic reasons. But watching this as an adult, it have a lot of problems, like, you know, the stupid decision of making Carter and the other Rangers babysitters for a little girl instead of focusing on the two teams working together, the behind the scenes drama being evident with Danny Slavin not voicing Leo for the ADR part and Amy Miller not being Trakeena, the dumbest line in the history of Power Rangers (tHeRe's nO sUcH tHiNg aS mOnStERs), etc... But, even with all of that, is still entertaining. Like you, in a universe where "The Lamedary Battle" from Super Megaforce exists, there's no way Trakeena's Revenge is the worst PR crossover.
Plus: 07:45 I think Sean CW Johnson, the actor who plays Carter, is the tallest Ranger of the franchise, even to this day.

You know, considering that the Magna Defender did appear in the Gogo V vs Gingaman movie, I wonder why the heck did they not include him. Like, I get that in Lost Galaxy, he lost his powers but still, I'm pretty certain they could BS it and just say he got his powers back somehow. Also, still waiting for you to review Zone Fighter.
Especially considering it's believed that Mike's actor, Russell Lawrence, was the one voicing Leo's helmeted scenes.
Here are my annoyances with this team up
1) There is no explanation how Trakeena survived the Lost Galaxy finale
2) Heather getting more focus than the Galaxy rangers. And on top of that, she’s never seen again.
3) Why did Kendrix and Damon wait longer to join the team up after Kai and Maya jumped in? Aren’t they a team?
4) Why did Trakeena go after Earth when she should’ve just gone to Mirinoi?
5) “There’s no such thing as monsters”
The Samurai/RPM crossover is easily 100% the worst.
Yeah, totally agreed! Like, why adapt both Shikenger films into one movie? Also, why didn't the other RPM rangers not join in? They could have just been the suits and the sentai footage.
I generally love this team up for how much i love lost galaxy and lightspeed rescue but it does have a lot of dumb stuff in it and i give props for Power Rangers for giving an explanation as for why the lost galaxy team has to team up with the lightspeed rangers as in GoGoV vs Gingaman, the main villain has a connection towards the Psyma clan and not the Space Pirates so it is a little strange as to why the Gingaman have to come help them, but nonetheless, GoGoV vs Gingaman is way better than the Power Rangers counterpart. I don't hate this one but i can't deny there is dumb stuff.
A video idea could be on the faults of Power Rangers Time Force or just faults good seasons of power rangers have as people try to neglect the faults of a good show. I love Time Force but it was just too close to Timeranger plus it didn't develop its cast as much as Timeranger did, and I think Ransik is an ok villain, not bad but not the best.

Uuum, no. This was in a Power Rangers dvd I bought in college, still have it, and this is a good episode even to my jaded 33-year-old eyes. And who feels the need to agree with his arbitrary standards? Like, who named him the leading authority in everything Power Rangers?

Yes, legendary battle is more like season finale than a team up, but the built up for this it was not entirely well executed

It was a mediocre teamup, but hardly the worst. It was just a translation of the Sentai movie basically, on auto-pilot. The Super Megaforce teamup tho... that was downright embarrassing for the franchise, and destroyed all hope that the Nick era could redeem itself.

Super megaforce team up wasn't embarrasing it actually work but had two issues, one It seemed there was a story behind that was never told and two they pretty based the entire anniverssary in this battle and create a lot of hype for this so of course if you are gonna built something that wans´t be longer of course people would get mad

Honestly this team up isn't good, don't get me wrong it's watchable it had good moments that doesn't mean that mean I will consireded good, nothing against the girl she was fine if this was just a simple filler episode that involves the girl the demons and the lightspeed rescue time it would probably fine, but this is a team up and it felt that the lost galaxy cast didn't matter, footage isn't the problem is how they were so determinated in fallow the vs movie plot isntead of create their own history and use the footage with them I would say this the team up doesn't feel rush with this team up feel kind of lame rare when the writers made pretty much well with the season and the you ask ¿what happend here?

Yes I agree that was preety much his mayor flaw, Dimensions in danger gets too much hate it wasn't something amazing but it wasn't something terrible also, the episode went directly with plot everything is decent they don't do anything stupid, as I say his only problem was thta it felt rushed if it wasn't two parter the only thing they needed to do is just expand what did in that episode
