15:04 For those who have not found this key "Activate Direct Manipulation in Program Monitor" , it is also called "Toggle Transform Direct Manipulation"
What a fantastic video! I consider myself pretty knowledgeable in Premiere, but I had no idea you could add a shortcut to directly manipulate the program monitor without clicking on Motion-that’s incredible! It’s also fascinating to see how other professionals work. For example, I’ve never seen anyone use No Scroll before; I usually stick with Smooth Scroll, but it’s refreshing to see a different workflow. Here are a couple of thoughts that might be helpful: 14:50: You can select all four keyframes and press both shortcuts, and it will still “Easy Ease” as expected. You can save "dummy transform presets" by adding a Transform effect, animating the property you want, and manipulating the graph. Then, reset all the keyframe values to default by manually inputting them. The result is a preset with four keyframes anchored to the in or out point that does nothing initially-but it retains the easing! This means that when you apply it and adjust a parameter, the easing is already smooth. Plus, you can stack the effect whenever you want to move something from point A to point B.
i have been editing for more than 7 years at this point, watched idk HOW MANY keyboard shortcut tutorials, but NONE of them told me about the "activate selection in program" feature... i was gonna make a python script soon so i dont have to click it manually... no knowing this was here already 😭😭 tysm!!
I've watched multiple videos about editing faster, and this video is leagues better than any of the other one's I've watched. You actually give real actionable advice without wasting my time. Fantastic stuff!
bro are you talking about your premiere pro course which is available on skill share in the starting of this video? Please tell or there is another premiere pro course available?e
@@bogxd Thanks man, I have been watching all of your videos all day and they are quite helpful. I am really really thankful to you. I don't know what to say. Thanks a lot man. I'm running it on MacOS. The program does pretty much the same thing whether you run it on Mac or Windows. Only a couple of keyboard shortcuts are different.
In Adobe Premiere Pro 2025, the "Activate Direct Manipulation in Program Monitor" feature has been updated and is now accessible via the "Toggle Transform Direct Manipulation" command.
Can you please zoom in a bit less when getting close-up to text or other UIs? Sometimes it looks very pixelated and is hard to follow where you are zoomed in.
Be honest Bog, You feel more productive, Fast and comfortable with windows? Am i right? Please be honest specially with Mouse acceleration :-) I have both windows and Mac, I dont know but I loves mac quality and suff, But since I used windows my childhood. I feel more comfortable with my muscle memory with CTRL and Mouse acceleration on windows. Also the explorer
Do you think your new AMD graphics card is enough fast to render videos in Premiere Pro or After Effect? Or do you suggest getting an NVIDEA for that sweet sweet CUDA cores. I heard Adobe really likes NVIDEA more than AMD. :(
So far I haven't run into any big issues with my AMD gpu but then again, I have never tried editing on a new NVIDIA gpu, so I can't really say which is better

i think it needs a bit more polish, i use arc for mac but firefox for windows
In your RUclips course, are you running adobe premiere on windows or iOS?
I'm running it on MacOS. The program does pretty much the same thing whether you run it on Mac or Windows. Only a couple of keyboard shortcuts are different.
Is there a free preset download version? I feel like your preset pack is too expensive
Super helpful

In Adobe Premiere Pro 2025, the "Activate Direct Manipulation in Program Monitor" feature has been updated and is now accessible via the "Toggle Transform Direct Manipulation" command.
why you changed to windows again?
the light mode windows border with the dark mode premiere always annoys me, like why cant premiere have a darkk mode for its border
ikr, this annoys me as well
Photoshop does it well tho, I don't know why Premiere no
Can you please zoom in a bit less when getting close-up to text or other UIs? Sometimes it looks very pixelated and is hard to follow where you are zoomed in.
Absolutely, thanks for the feedback!
I see what you did there with w,a,s,d
