- I really love the faces and hair of these dolls.. and I think the dolls are very beautiful and do the job of representing the characters… but the old one’s actual quality blows these out of the water. I was a bit disappointed by these but I’m still overall happy with them!

Xcanadensis the reason why the old doll is inaccurate is because it's based of the second season (max heart) while the new one is based on the first
every time u talk abt precure I have to hold myself back from falling down an amazon rabbit hole
The printed belts are kind of disappointing, but aside from that, they do what they're supposed to and fit well with the rest of the Style line.
Without the printed belts the review would have been MUCH more positive haha
I ordered White. I hope she arrives soon. I also wanna mentioned the older one is from Max Heart so much more details and difference in designs. It looks pretty accurate thou busy and crammed as whole so it is one doll Id like remade. The other dolls Id like to see are Cure Macaron and Black Pepper.

Never been a diehard anime fan, growing up I used to watch more popular or “trendy” anime’s like Naruto, Yugiho, Pokémon, Code Lyoko, Sailor Moon & Inyusha.
But you’ve peaked my interest in PrettyCure!
Really wish a streaming service would get the rights to the seasons.

I'm from Italy and back in the day they made dolls for the brand GIG and they're from the first transformation. Their outfits are waaaaaay better construscted than these. The faces and the hair were awfull. But the clothes were identical. The one that you already had is from season two and it's another transformation. And these was the official ones from bandai. That's why you're a little bit confused about the artwork and the realization of the dolls
I'm planning on getting these for my 13th birthday next month! They look adorable! 💖
The flat trim doesn't look the best, like they could have done a ribbon detail, but they're not bad for what they are I guess. The only series I've seen is Heartcatch because it was watchable on YT at the time I discovered Precure. I don't know if they have dolls, so if they haven't done that series yet it'd be interesting to see.

I wonder if bandai will do the Max Heart design for cure white and cure black. I found it interesting that they went with their first designs.

I love them for releasing these but yea there are major detail issues with cure white. I guess what we can do, is add a bit more petticoat to the skirt and cinch that waist with an actual blue ribbon belt. Bandai atleast give them more details.. ugh.
16:04 I *NEED* heartcatch precure dolls I am begging bandai on my hands and knees.... besides it just being like my favorite season favoritest anime series tv show ever, The artstyles (mainly say this for the faces on the topic of dolls) and designs are so unique like I just NEED to see how they'd be translated into precure style dolls

Also Brooke just wondering... I love the pretty cure dolls that I have but what would take them to the next level are articulated bodies. Do you have any experience with changing these dolls over to a new articulated body? If so what body do you recommend that suits their size, shape and height? Thank you my doll guru.
Unfortunately I’m not the best one to ask :( I am extremely picky with proportions so I almost never do body swaps. I would say a Pureneemo body or an Obitsu body… probably not with Pureneemo because they have such ugly, badly articulated knees. I really like the wire joints on the Precure style bodies but they’re definitely more limited than other options
@@xCanadensis thanks so much. Like you I'm on a real Japanese doll kick at the moment. I just feel like I could get more expression out of them if they were on some kind of articulated body. We are so spoiled with rainbow high and monster high bodies.
