These Tiny builds are always broken for me, tons of apps I install throw errors saying parts of the OS are missing
Yeah I can see that, they have to be pretty harsh with what packages or modules to include, you will have to go through the trouble of finding out what runtimes, modules, packages and what not to install for your specific applications.
It was fun for me, but ultimately I reverted back to normal windows, because I encountered the same problem as you, and I need to get things done.
I have 4 partitions. Can I install tiny in one of them and keep my files and windows 7 in the other partitions?
I don't know, but don't take this too seriously, this version is seriously handicapped, I reverted to normal window after a while.
Is there MS Edge already installed in the image, does it have basic drivers, for wireless LAN card ?
Not sure about edge, but yes, it have wireless drivers installed :-)
Confirmed MS Edge comes with the image

So how do you install a browser? DL an *.exe file on another computer and bring it over to this one with a USB stick?

What browsers do you usually use ?
@@BracerJack Over the last few years, Ungoogled Chromium, Brave, Firefox, sometimes plain Chrome.
@@brad9994 I am still using Firefox here, but an older version because the new UI's menu spacing is too wide and ugly, I cannot stand it visually.

The one I am currently using, but I stopped it, because too many packages are missing, many programs simple wouldn't run, it is too much work.
@@BracerJack Ah. What do you mean by packages missing, if it’s okay with me asking? If it’s about software, you can try reinstalling Windows, maybe an official copy, rather than a custom OS, like Windows 10 LTSC. I might be able to help with your issue and give you the most simple and straightforward solution without multiple steps.

In any case I have given up, went back to my custom windows install from an ISO file that I customized via slipstream method that removes all the junk and other bullshit.
@@BracerJack Alright! If anything else were to happen, I would revert back to the original factory installed OS, and if 10 LTSC didn’t work, because of what could be .NET Framework requirements, I would find a way to bypass that. Good luck!

I highly suggest just using this as a test, not for actual work :-)

I don't remember, I have reverted my laptop back to normal.
It is missing a number of runtime packages that I have difficulty installing one by one manually.

You are right, the date is 8 July 2023, the site is currently down.
It seems the website portableapps have it, so until the original site is up again, at least you can still get it there.
